Mazmur 47

1 Mazmur kaum Korah. Untuk pemimpin kor. Bertepuktanganlah dengan gembira, hai segala bangsa! Pujilah Allah dengan sorak-sorai!

Unto the end, for the sons of Core. O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of Joy,

2 Sebab TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi adalah dahsyat, Raja Agung yang menguasai seluruh bumi.

For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.

3 Ia memberi kita kemenangan atas bangsa-bangsa, menjadikan kita penguasa atas suku-suku bangsa.

He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.

4 Ia memilih bagi kita tanah pusaka kita, kebanggaan bangsa yang dikasihi-Nya.

He hath chosen for us his inheritance the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved.

5 Allah sudah menaiki takhta-Nya, diiringi sorak-sorai dan bunyi sangkakala.

God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.

6 Nyanyikanlah pujian bagi Allah, nyanyikan pujian bagi Raja kita!

Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.

7 Allah adalah Raja di seluruh bumi, pujilah Dia dengan nyanyian penuh seni!

For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.

8 Allah duduk di atas takhta-Nya yang suci; Ia memerintah atas bangsa-bangsa.

God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.

9 Para pemimpin bangsa-bangsa bergabung sebagai umat Allah pujaan Abraham. Sebab Allah adalah Raja segala raja, Ia sangat agung dan mulia.

The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted.
