Mazmur 26

1 Mazmur Daud. Berilah keadilan kepadaku, ya TUHAN, sebab aku hidup dengan tulus hati. Aku berharap kepada TUHAN, dan tak ragu sedikit pun.

“A psalm of David.” Be thou my judge, O LORD! for I have walked in uprightness. I have put my trust in the LORD, therefore shall I not fall.

2 Selidikilah aku, ya TUHAN, dan ujilah aku, periksalah keinginan dan pikiranku.

Examine me, O LORD! and prove me; Try my reins and my heart!

3 Aku selalu ingat akan kasih-Mu, dan tetap setia kepada-Mu.

For thy kindness is ever before my eyes, And I walk in thy truth.

4 Aku tak mau berkumpul dengan penipu, atau bergaul dengan orang munafik.

I sit not with men of falsehood. And go not in company with dissemblers.

5 Kubenci kumpulan orang yang berbuat jahat, kaum penjahat kuhindari.

I hate the assembly of evil-doers, And do not sit with the wicked.

6 Kubasuh tanganku tanda tak bersalah, dan berjalan mengelilingi mezbah-Mu, ya TUHAN,

I wash my hands in innocence. And go around thine altar. O LORD!

7 sambil menyanyikan lagu syukur, dan mewartakan perbuatan-Mu yang mengagumkan.

To utter the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all thy wondrous works.

8 Aku mencintai Rumah-Mu, ya TUHAN, tempat Engkau berdiam dengan penuh keagungan.

O LORD! I love the habitation of thy house, The place where thine honor dwelleth!

9 Jangan membunuh aku bersama orang berdosa, atau mencabut nyawaku bersama penumpah darah.

Gather not my breath with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood,

10 Mereka terus-menerus berbuat jahat, dan selalu siap menerima suap.

In whose hands is mischief, And whose right hands are full of bribes!

11 Tetapi aku hidup dengan tulus hati, kasihanilah dan bebaskanlah aku.

But as for me, I walk in my integrity; Oh, redeem me, and be merciful to me!

12 Maka amanlah aku dari segala bahaya, aku akan memuji TUHAN dalam kumpulan umat-Nya.

My feet tread in a straight path; In the congregation will I bless the LORD.
