Mazmur 115

1 Bukan kami, ya TUHAN, bukan kami, tapi Engkau saja harus dipuji, sebab Engkau setia dan tetap mengasihi.

Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth’s sake.

2 Mengapa bangsa-bangsa harus berkata, "Di mana Allah mereka?"

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is] now their God?

3 Allah kita ada di surga, Ia melakukan apa yang dikehendaki-Nya.

But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

4 Berhala mereka dari emas dan perak, buatan tangan manusia.

Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.

5 Mereka mempunyai mulut, tetapi tak dapat berbicara, mempunyai mata, tetapi tak dapat melihat.

They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

6 Mereka mempunyai telinga, tetapi tak dapat mendengar, mempunyai hidung, tetapi tak dapat mencium.

They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

7 Mereka mempunyai tangan, tetapi tak dapat meraba, mempunyai kaki, tetapi tak dapat berjalan, dan tak ada suara yang keluar dari kerongkongannya.

They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

8 Semoga begitulah nasib orang-orang yang membuatnya, dan semua orang yang percaya kepadanya.

They that make them are like unto them; [so is] every one that trusteth in them.

9 Hai Israel, berharaplah kepada TUHAN, Dialah yang menolong dan melindungi kamu.

O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

10 Hai para imam, berharaplah kepada TUHAN, Dialah yang menolong dan melindungi kamu.

O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

11 Hai semua orang takwa, berharaplah kepada TUHAN, Dialah yang menolong dan melindungi kamu.

Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

12 TUHAN ingat kepada kita dan akan memberkati kita, Ia akan memberkati umat Israel dan semua imam keturunan Harun.

The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless [us; ] he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13 Ia akan memberkati orang-orang yang takwa, baik kecil maupun besar.

He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great.

14 Semoga TUHAN menganugerahkan banyak anak, kepada kamu dan keturunanmu.

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15 Semoga kamu diberkati TUHAN, pencipta langit dan bumi!

Ye [are] blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

16 Langit adalah milik TUHAN saja, tetapi bumi diberikan-Nya kepada manusia.

The heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17 TUHAN tidak dipuji oleh orang mati, oleh orang yang sudah turun ke tempat yang sunyi.

The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18 Tetapi kita yang hidup bersyukur kepada-Nya, sekarang dan sampai selama-lamanya. Pujilah TUHAN!

But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
