Mazmur 113

1 Pujilah TUHAN! Hai hamba-hamba TUHAN, pujilah nama TUHAN!

Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.

2 Nama-Nya akan dimasyhurkan, sekarang dan sepanjang masa.

Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.

3 Dari timur sampai ke barat nama TUHAN harus dipuji.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.

4 TUHAN berkuasa atas segala bangsa, keagungan-Nya mengatasi langit.

The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.

5 Siapa seperti TUHAN Allah kita? Ia bertakhta di tempat yang tinggi.

Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:

6 Tetapi Ia membungkukkan diri untuk memandang langit dan bumi.

And looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?

7 Orang miskin diangkat-Nya dari debu, dan orang melarat dari abu.

Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill:

8 Mereka didudukkan-Nya bersama para penguasa, bersama para bangsawan dari umat-Nya.

That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.

9 Ia menganugerahkan anak-anak kepada istri yang mandul, menjadikan dia ibu yang berbahagia dan terhormat di rumahnya. Pujilah TUHAN!

Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.
