1 TUHAN memberi kepada Musa
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2 perintah-perintah ini untuk bangsa Israel, "Sebentar lagi kamu masuk ke negeri Kanaan, negeri yang Kuberikan kepadamu sebagai tanah pusaka. Inilah batas-batas negerimu itu.
“Instruct the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of Canaan, and it has fallen into your possession by lot, it shall be bound by these limits:
3 Di selatan, batas itu mulai dari padang gurun Zin menyusuri Edom. Di timur batas itu mulai dari ujung selatan Laut Mati,
The southern part shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is next to Edom, and it shall have the Sea of Salt as a limit to the east.
4 belok ke selatan menuju Jalan Akrabim dan terus ke Zin sampai Kades-Barnea di selatan. Dari situ belok ke barat laut sampai Hazar-Adar, dan terus ke Azmon.
It shall circle on the south side along the ascent of the Scorpion, by this way crossing into Senna, and passing through, from the south, as far as Kadesh-barnea, from which its confines shall go out to the town called Adar, and extend even to Azmon.
5 Di situ belok ke lembah di perbatasan Mesir dan berakhir di Laut Tengah.
And its limits shall go around from Azmon to the Torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the shore of the Great Sea.
6 Laut Tengah merupakan batas negerimu di sebelah barat.
Then the western region shall begin from the Great Sea, and the same shall be its end.
7 Di utara, batas itu mulai di Laut Tengah menuju ke Gunung Hor
Furthermore, toward the northern region, its limits shall begin from the Great Sea, passing through even to the highest mountain.
8 dan dari situ ke Jalan Hamat, lalu terus ke Zedad
From there, it limits shall advance into Hamath, as far as the limits of Zedad.
9 dan ke Zifron dan berakhir di Hazar-Enan.
And its confines shall go all the way to Ziphron, and to the village of Enan. These shall be the limits on the northern side.
10 Di timur, batas itu mulai dari Hazar-Enan ke Sefam.
From there, its limits shall be measured, facing the east side, from the village of Enan as far as Shepham.
11 Dari situ turun ke Ribla di sebelah timur Ain, lalu terus ke bukit-bukit di pantai timur Danau Galilea,
And from Shepham, the boundaries shall descend into Riblah, opposite the fountain of Daphnis. From there, the boundaries shall pass through, opposite the east, to the Sea of Chinnereth,
12 lalu ke selatan sepanjang Sungai Yordan sampai ke Laut Mati. Itulah negerimu menurut batas-batas di sekelilingnya."
and shall extend as far as the Jordan, and, at the furthest extent, shall be enclosed by the Sea of Salt. You shall have this land, with its borders all around.”
13 Musa berkata kepada bangsa Israel, "Itulah tanah yang akan kamu terima dengan cara membuang undi, tanah yang menurut perintah TUHAN harus dibagikan kepada sembilan setengah suku bangsa Israel.
And Moses instructed the sons of Israel, saying: “This shall be the land which you shall possess by lot, and which the Lord has ordered to be given to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.
14 Suku-suku Ruben dan Gad serta sebagian dari suku Manasye sudah menerima bagian mereka, dan tanah itu pun sudah dibagikan kepada keluarga-keluarga mereka.
For the tribe of the sons of Ruben, by their families, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the number of their kinships, and also one half of the tribe of Manasseh,
15 Tanah pusaka mereka itu di sebelah timur Sungai Yordan, di dekat kota Yerikho."
that is, two and a half tribes, have received their portion across the Jordan, opposite Jericho, toward the eastern side.”
16 TUHAN berkata kepada Musa,
And the Lord said to Moses:
17 "Yang harus membagikan tanah itu di antara kamu adalah Imam Eleazar, dan Yosua anak Nun.
“These are the names of the men, who shall divide the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun,
18 Tunjuklah juga seorang pemimpin dari setiap suku untuk menolong Eleazar dan Yosua membagikan tanah itu."
and one leader from each tribe,
19 Nama orang-orang itu adalah: (Suku-Pemimpin), Yuda-Kaleb anak Yefune, Simeon-Samuel anak Amihud, Benyamin-Elidad anak Kislon, Dan-Buki anak Yogli, Manasye-Haniel anak Efod, Efraim-Kemuel anak Siftan, Zebulon-Elisafan anak Parnah, Isakhar-Paltiel anak Azan, Asyer-Ahihud anak Selomi, Naftali-Pedael anak Amihud.
whose names are these: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;
from the tribe of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud;
from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;
from the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;
of the sons of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod;
from the tribe of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;
from the tribe of Zebulon, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;
from the tribe of Issachar, Paltiel the leader, the son of Azzan;
from the tribe of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;
from the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Itulah orang-orang yang diperintahkan TUHAN untuk membagikan tanah pusaka kepada bangsa Israel di negeri Kanaan.
These are the ones that the Lord has ordered to divide the land of Canaan to the sons of Israel.
