1 Sesudah bencana itu berakhir, TUHAN berkata kepada Musa dan Eleazar, anak Imam Harun,
And so after the plague, the Lord spake vnto Moses, and to Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest, saying,
2 "Kamu harus mengadakan sensus seluruh umat Israel menurut keluarga masing-masing. Semua orang laki-laki yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas yang sanggup menjadi tentara, harus dicatat."
Take the nomber of all the Congregation of the children of Israel from twentie yeere olde and aboue throughout their fathers houses, all that go forth to warre in Israel.
3 Musa dan Eleazar melakukan perintah itu. Mereka memanggil semua orang laki-laki yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas dan mengumpulkan mereka di dataran Moab, di seberang Sungai Yordan, dekat kota Yerikho. Inilah orang-orang Israel yang keluar dari Mesir:
So Moses and Eleazar the Priest spake vnto them in the plaine of Moab, by Iorden towarde Iericho, saying,
From twentie yeere olde and aboue ye shall nomber the people, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and the childre of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
5 Dari suku Ruben, anak sulung Yakub: kaum Henokh, Palu,
Reuben the first borne of Israel: the children of Reube were: Hanoch, of whom came the familie of the Hanochites, and of Pallu the familie of the Palluites:
6 Hezron dan Karmi.
Of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Carmi, the familie of the Carmites.
7 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 43.730 orang.
These are the families of the Reubenites: and they were in nomber three and fourtie thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
8 Anak Palu adalah Eliab,
And the sonnes of Pallu, Eliab:
9 dan anak-anak Eliab adalah Nemuel, Datan dan Abiram. Datan dan Abiram itu telah dipilih oleh umat, tetapi mereka bergabung dengan pengikut-pengikut Korah untuk menentang Musa dan Harun dan melawan TUHAN.
And the sonnes of Eliab, Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram: this Dathan and Abiram were famous in the Congregation, and stroue against Moses and against Aaron in the assemblie of Korah, when they stroue against the Lord.
10 Lalu tanah terbuka dan menelan mereka sehingga mereka mati bersama Korah dan pengikut-pengikutnya ketika api membinasakan 250 orang laki-laki. Hal itu menjadi peringatan bagi bangsa Israel.
And the earth opened her mouth, and swalowed them vp with Korah, when the Congregation died, what time the fire consumed, two hundreth and fiftie men, who were for a signe.
11 Tetapi anak-anak Korah tidak ikut terbunuh.
Notwithstanding, all the sonnes of Korah dyed not.
12 Dari suku Simeon: Kaum Nemuel, Yamin, Yakhin,
And the children of Simeon after their families were: Nemuel, of whom came the familie of the Nemuelites: of Iamin, the familie of the Iaminites: of Iachin, the familie of the Iachinites:
13 Zerah dan Saul.
Of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the familie of the Shaulites.
14 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 22.200 orang.
These are the families of the Simeonites: two and twentie thousand and two hundreth.
15 Dari suku Gad: Kaum Zefon, Hagi, Syuni,
The sonnes of Gad after their families were: Zephon, of whome came ye familie of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the familie of the Haggites: of Shuni, the familie of the Shunites:
16 Ozni, Eri,
Of Ozni, the familie of the Oznites: of Eri, the familie of the Erites:
17 Arod dan Areli.
Of Arod, the familie of the Arodites: of Areli, the familie of the Arelites.
18 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 40.500 orang.
These are the families of the sonnes of Gad, according to their nombers, fourtie thousand and fiue hundreth.
19 Dari suku Yehuda: Kaum Syela, Peres, Zerah, Hezron dan Hamul. Dua anak Yehuda, yaitu Er dan Onan, sudah mati di tanah Kanaan.
The sonnes of Iudah, Er and Onan: but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
So were the sonnes of Iudah after their families: of Shelah came the familie of ye Shelanites: of Pharez, the familie of the Pharzites, of Zerah, the familie of the Zarhites.
And the sonnes of Pharez were: of Hesron, the familie of the Hesronites: of Hamul, the familie of the Hamulites.
22 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 76.500 orang.
These are the families of Iudah, after their nombers, seuentie and sixe thousande and fiue hundreth.
23 Dari suku Isakhar: Kaum Tola, Pua,
The sonnes of Issachar, after their families were: Tola, of whom came the familie of the Tolaites: of Pua, the familie of the Punites:
24 Yasub dan Simron.
Of Iashub the familie of the Iashubites: of Shimron, the familie of the Shimronites.
25 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 64.300 orang.
These are the families of Issachar, after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand and three hundreth.
26 Dari suku Zebulon: Kaum Sered, Elon dan Yahleel.
The sonnes of Zebulun, after their families were: of Sered, the familie of the Sardites: of Elon, the familie of the Elonites: of Iahleel, the familie of the Iahleelites.
27 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 60.500 orang.
These are the families of the Zebulunites, after their nombers, three score thousande and fiue hundreth.
28 Dari keturunan Yusuf, yang mempunyai dua anak laki-laki: suku Manasye dan suku Efraim.
The sonnes of Ioseph, after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Dari suku Manasye: Makhir, anak Manasye, adalah ayah Gilead; dan kaum-kaum yang berikut ini adalah keturunan Gilead:
The sonnes of Manasseh were: of Machir, the familie of the Machirites: and Machir begate Gilead: of Gilead came the familie of the Gileadites.
30 Kaum Iezer, Helek,
These are the sonnes of Gilead: of Iezer, the familie of the Iezerites: of Helek, the familie of the Helekites.
31 Asriel, Sekhem,
Of Asriel, the familie of the Asrielites: of Shechem, the familie of Shichmites.
32 Semida dan Hefer.
Of Shemida, the familie of the Shemidaites: of Hepher, the familie of the Hepherites.
33 Zelafehad anak Hefer tidak mempunyai anak laki-laki, hanya anak perempuan. Nama mereka adalah Mahla, Noa, Hogla, Milka dan Tirza.
And Zelophehad the sonne of Hepher had no sonnes, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.
34 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 52.700 orang.
These are the families of Manasseh, and the nomber of them, two and fiftie thousand and seuen hundreth.
35 Dari suku Efraim: Kaum Sutelah, Bekher, dan Tahan.
These are the sonnes of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah came the familie of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the familie of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the familie of the Tahanites.
36 Kaum Eran adalah keturunan Sutelah.
And these are the sonnes of Shuthelah: of Eran the familie of the Eranites.
37 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 32.500 orang. Itulah kaum-kaum keturunan Yusuf.
These are the families of the sonnes of Ephraim after their nombers, two and thirtie thousand and fiue hundreth. these are the sonnes of Ioseph after their families.
38 Dari suku Benyamin: Kaum Bela, Asybel, Ahiram,
These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families: of Bela came the familie of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the familie of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the familie of the Ahiramites:
39 Sefufam dan Hufam.
Of Shupham, the familie of the Suphamites: of Hupham, the familie of the Huphamites.
40 Kaum Ared dan Naaman adalah keturunan Bela.
And the sonnes of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard came the familie of the Ardites, of Naaman, the familie of the Naamites.
41 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 45.600 orang.
These are the sonnes of Beniamin after their families, and their nombers, fiue and fourtie thousand and sixe hundreth.
42 Dari suku Dan: Kaum Suham.
These are the sonnes of Dan after their families: of Shuham came the familie of the Shuhamites: these are the families of Dan after their housholdes.
43 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum itu jumlahnya 64.400 orang.
All the families of the Shuhamites were after their nombers, threescore and foure thousand, and foure hundreth.
44 Dari suku Asyer: Kaum Yimna, Yiswi dan Beria.
The sonnes of Asher after their families were: of Iimnah, the familie of the Iimnites: of Isui, the familie of the Isuites: of Beriah, the familie of the Berijtes.
45 Kaum Heber dan Malkiel adalah keturunan Beria.
The sonnes of Beriah were, of Heber the familie of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the familie of the Malchielites.
46 Asyer mempunyai seorang anak perempuan yang bernama Serah.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.
47 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 53.400 orang.
These are the families of the sonnes of Asher after their nombers, three and fifty thousand and foure hundreth.
48 Dari suku Naftali: Kaum Yahzeel, Guni,
The sonnes of Naphtali, after their families were: of Iahzeel, the families of the Iahzeelites: of Guni, the familie of the Gunites.
49 Yezer dan Syilem.
Of Iezer, the familie of the Izrites: of Shillem, the familie of the Shillemites.
50 Orang laki-laki dalam kaum-kaum itu jumlahnya 45.400 orang.
These are the families of Naphtali according to their housholdes, and their nomber, fiue and fourtie thousande and foure hundreth.
51 Semua orang laki-laki Israel jumlahnya 601.730 orang.
These are the nombers of the children of Israel: sixe hundreth and one thousand, seuen hundreth and thirtie.
52 TUHAN berkata kepada Musa,
And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
53 "Bagikanlah tanah itu kepada suku-suku bangsa Israel menurut besarnya masing-masing suku.
Vnto these the land shalbe deuided for an inheritance, according to the nomber of names.
54 Lakukanlah itu dengan cara membuang undi. Kepada suku yang besar harus kauberi bagian yang besar, dan kepada suku yang kecil, bagian yang kecil."
To many thou shalt giue the more inheritance, and to fewe thou shalt giue lesse inheritance: to euery one according to his nomber shalbe giuen his inheritance.
Notwithstanding, the land shalbe deuided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherite:
According to the lot shall the possession thereof be deuided betweene many and fewe.
57 Suku Lewi terdiri dari kaum Gerson, Kehat dan Merari.
These also are the nobers of ye Leuites, after their families: of Gershon came ye familie of the Gershonites: of Kohath, ye familie of the Kohathites: of Merari, the familie of the Merarites.
58 Dalam keturunan mereka termasuk kaum Libni, Hebron, Mahli, Musi dan Korah. Kehat adalah ayah Amram.
These are the families of Leui, the familie of the Libnites: the familie of the Hebronites: the familie of the Mahlites: the familie of the Mushites: the familie of the Korhites: and Kohath begate Amram.
59 Amram kawin dengan Yokhebed, anak Lewi. Yokhebed itu lahir di Mesir. Amram dan Yokhebed mempunyai dua anak laki-laki: Harun dan Musa, serta seorang anak perempuan, Miryam.
And Amrams wife was called Iochebed the daughter of Leui, which was borne vnto Leui in Egypt: and she bare vnto Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Harun mempunyai empat anak laki-laki: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar dan Itamar.
And vnto Aaron were borne Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61 Nadab dan Abihu mati ketika mereka mempersembahkan api yang tidak dikehendaki Allah.
And Nadab and Abihu dyed, because they offred strange fire before the Lord.
62 Orang laki-laki dari suku Lewi yang berumur satu bulan ke atas jumlahnya 23.000 orang. Mereka didaftarkan terpisah dari orang-orang sebangsanya, karena mereka tidak mendapat tanah pusaka di Israel.
And their nombers were three and twentie thousand, all males from a moneth old and aboue: for they were not nombred among the children of Israel, because there was none inheritance giuen them among the children of Israel.
63 Itulah daftar yang dibuat oleh Musa dan Imam Eleazar mengenai kaum-kaum Israel ketika mereka mengadakan sensus di dataran Moab di seberang Sungai Yordan dekat kota Yerikho.
These are the nombers of Moses and Eleazar the Priest which nombred the children of Israel in the plaine of Moab, neere Iorden, towarde Iericho.
64 Dari orang-orang yang dahulu didaftarkan oleh Musa dan Harun di padang gurun Sinai, tak ada seorang pun yang masih hidup.
And among these there was not a man of them, whome Moses and Aaron the Priest nobred, when they tolde the children of Israel in the wildernes of Sinai.
65 TUHAN sudah mengatakan bahwa mereka semua akan mati di padang gurun. Dan memang mereka semua mati, kecuali Kaleb anak Yefune dan Yosua anak Nun.
For the Lord said of them, They shall die in the wildernes: so there was not left a man of them, saue Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh, and Ioshua the sonne of Nun.
