Keluaran 16

1 Lalu seluruh umat Israel berangkat dari Elim, dan pada tanggal lima belas bulan kedua sesudah mereka meninggalkan Mesir, tibalah mereka di padang gurun Sin, antara Elim dan Gunung Sinai.

And they set out from Elim and they came all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel to [the] wilderness of Sin which [is] between Elim and between Sinai on [the] fif-teen day of the month second of going out their from [the] land of Egypt.

2 Di padang gurun itu mereka semua mengomel kepada Musa dan Harun.

(And they grumbled *Q(K)*) all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel on Moses and on Aaron in the wilderness.

3 Kata mereka, "Lebih baik sekiranya kami sudah mati dibunuh TUHAN di Mesir. Di sana sekurang-kurangnya kami dapat duduk makan daging dan roti sampai kenyang. Tetapi kamu membawa kami ke sini supaya kami semua mati kelaparan."

And they said to them [the] people of Israel who? will he give died we by [the] hand of Yahweh in [the] land of Egypt when sat we at [the] pot of the meat when ate we food to abundance for you have brought out us into the wilderness this to put to death all the assembly this by hunger.

4 Kata TUHAN kepada Musa, "Sekarang akan Kuturunkan makanan yang berlimpah-limpah seperti hujan untuk kamu semua. Tiap hari kamu harus mengumpulkan makanan itu secukupnya untuk satu hari. Dengan cara itu Aku mau menguji umat-Ku supaya Aku tahu apakah mereka taat kepada perintah-perintah-Ku atau tidak.

And he said Yahweh to Moses here I [am] about to rain down for you bread from the heavens and it will go out the people and they will gather a matter of a day in day its so that I should put to [the] test it ¿ will it walk in law my or? not.

5 Pada hari yang keenam mereka harus mengumpulkan makanan itu dua kali lipat banyaknya."

And it will be on the day sixth and they will prepare [that] which they will bring and it will be double to [that] which they will gather day - day.

6 Maka berkatalah Musa dan Harun kepada semua orang Israel, "Sore ini kamu akan tahu bahwa Tuhanlah yang membawa kamu keluar dari Mesir.

And he said Moses and Aaron to all [the] people of Israel evening and you will know that Yahweh he brought out you from [the] land of Egypt.

7 Besok pagi kamu akan melihat cahaya kehadiran TUHAN. TUHAN mendengar kamu marah-marah kepada-Nya; ya, kepada TUHAN, sebab kami ini hanya melakukan apa yang diperintahkan-Nya.

And morning and you will see [the] glory of Yahweh because has heard he grumblings your on Yahweh and [are] we what? that (you will cause to grumble *Q(K)*) on us.

8 TUHAN akan memberi kamu daging di waktu sore, dan roti di waktu pagi sampai kamu kenyang, karena TUHAN sudah mendengar kamu marah-marah kepada-Nya. Sesungguhnya, kalau kamu marah-marah kepada kami, kamu marah-marah kepada TUHAN."

And he said Moses when gives Yahweh to you in the evening meat to eat and bread in the morning to be satisfied because has heard Yahweh grumblings your which you [are] grumbling on him and [are] we what? not [are] on us grumblings your for on Yahweh.

9 Kemudian Musa berkata kepada Harun, "Suruhlah mereka semua datang menghadap TUHAN, sebab Ia telah mendengar omelan mereka."

And he said Moses to Aaron say to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel draw near before Yahweh for he has heard grumblings your.

10 Selagi Harun berbicara kepada mereka semua, mereka menengok ke padang gurun dan tiba-tiba cahaya TUHAN kelihatan dalam awan.

And it was when spoke Aaron to all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel and they turned to the wilderness and there! [the] glory of Yahweh it appeared in the cloud.

11 Kata TUHAN kepada Musa,

And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.

12 "Aku telah mendengar omelan orang Israel. Katakanlah kepada mereka bahwa pada waktu sore mereka dapat makan daging, dan pada waktu pagi mereka dapat makan roti sampai kenyang. Maka mereka akan tahu bahwa Akulah TUHAN, Allah mereka."

I have heard [the] grumblings of [the] people of Israel speak to them saying between the two evenings you will eat meat and in the morning you will be satisfied bread and you will know that I [am] Yahweh God your.

13 Pada waktu sore datanglah burung puyuh sampai banyak sekali sehingga menutupi seluruh perkemahan, dan pada waktu pagi turunlah embun di sekeliling perkemahan.

And it was in the evening and it came up the quail and it covered the camp and in the morning it was [the] layer of the dew around the camp.

14 Ketika embun itu menguap, tampaklah di atas padang gurun sesuatu yang tipis seperti sisik dan halus seperti embun yang beku.

And it went up [the] layer of dew and there! [was] on [the] surface of the wilderness thin [stuff] flake-like thin [stuff] like frost on the ground.

15 Ketika orang Israel melihatnya, mereka tidak tahu apa itu. Maka bertanyalah mereka satu sama lain, "Apa itu?" Lalu Musa berkata kepada mereka, "Itulah makanan yang diberikan TUHAN kepada kamu.

And they saw [the] people of Israel and they said each to brother his what? [is] it for not they knew what? [was] it and he said Moses to them it [is] the bread which he has given Yahweh to you to food.

16 TUHAN memerintahkan supaya masing-masing mengumpulkan sebanyak yang diperlukannya, yaitu dua liter untuk setiap anggota keluarga."

This [is] the word which he commands Yahweh gather some of it everyone to [the] mouth of food his an omer for the head [the] number of people your everyone for [those] who [are] in tent his you will take.

17 Orang Israel berbuat begitu; tapi ada yang mengumpulkan lebih dari dua liter untuk seorang dan ada yang kurang.

And they did so [the] people of Israel and they gathered [it] the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little.

18 Ketika mereka menakarnya, ternyata bahwa orang yang mengumpulkan banyak, tidak kelebihan, dan yang mengumpulkan sedikit, tidak kekurangan. Masing-masing mengumpulkan sebanyak yang diperlukannya.

And they measured [it] by the omer and not he had a surplus the [one who] made much and the [one who] made little not he had a lack everyone to [the] mouth of food his they had gathered.

19 Musa berkata kepada mereka, "Siapa pun tak boleh menyimpan makanan itu barang sedikit untuk besok."

And he said Moses to them everyone may not him leave over any of it until morning.

20 Tetapi beberapa orang di antara mereka tidak mempedulikan perkataan Musa. Mereka simpan juga sebagian dari makanan itu. Besoknya ternyata makanan itu berulat dan berbau busuk; maka Musa menjadi marah kepada mereka.

And not they listened to Moses and they left over people some of it until morning and it became rotten worms and it stank and he was angry towards them Moses.

21 Setiap pagi mereka mengumpulkan makanan itu sebanyak yang mereka perlukan, dan kalau hari mulai panas, makanan yang tertinggal di tanah itu meleleh.

And they gathered it in the morning in the morning everyone according to [the] mouth of food his and it was warm the sun and it melted.

22 Pada hari yang keenam mereka mengumpulkan makanan itu dua kali lipat banyaknya, yaitu empat liter untuk seorang. Semua pemimpin mereka datang dan memberitahukan hal itu kepada Musa.

And it was - on the day sixth they gathered bread of double two omer[s] for the one and they came all [the] leaders of the congregation and they told to Moses.

23 Kata Musa kepada mereka, "Inilah perintah TUHAN: Besok adalah hari khusus untuk beristirahat, hari Sabat, hari yang dipersembahkan kepada TUHAN. Apa yang kamu mau panggang hari ini, pangganglah, dan apa yang kamu mau rebus, rebuslah. Yang lebih dari keperluan hari ini, pisahkanlah dan simpanlah untuk besok."

And he said to them it [is that] which he said Yahweh a sabbath observance a sabbath of holiness to Yahweh [is] tomorrow [that] which you will bake bake and [that] which you will boil boil and all the surplus leave for yourselves for keeping until the morning.

24 Jadi makanan yang kelebihan itu mereka simpan untuk besoknya seperti yang diperintahkan Musa; makanan itu tidak menjadi basi dan tidak berulat.

And they left it until the morning just as he had commanded Moses and not it stank and a maggot not it was in it.

25 Musa berkata, "Inilah makananmu untuk hari ini, sebab hari ini adalah hari Sabat, hari istirahat untuk menghormati TUHAN, dan kamu tak akan menemukan makanan itu sedikit pun di luar perkemahan.

And he said Moses eat it this day for [is] a sabbath this day to Yahweh this day not you will find it in the field.

26 Enam hari lamanya kamu harus mengumpulkan makanan, tetapi hari yang ketujuh adalah hari istirahat, dan tak ada makanan yang turun pada hari itu."

Six days you will gather it and on the day seventh a sabbath not it will be in it.

27 Pada hari yang ketujuh beberapa orang Israel mau mengumpulkan makanan, tetapi mereka tidak menemukan apa-apa.

And it was on the day seventh they went out some of the people to gather [it] and not they found [it].

28 Lalu TUHAN berkata kepada Musa, "Sampai kapan kamu tidak mau mentaati perintah-perintah-Ku?

And he said Yahweh to Moses until when? have you refused to keep commandments my and laws my.

29 Ingatlah bahwa Aku memberi kepadamu satu hari untuk beristirahat. Itulah sebabnya pada hari yang keenam Aku memberi makanan yang cukup untuk dua hari. Pada hari yang ketujuh setiap orang harus tinggal di rumah, dan tak boleh keluar."

Consider that Yahweh he has given to you the sabbath there-fore he [is] giving to you on the day sixth bread of two days remain - everyone in place his may not him go out anyone from place his on the day seventh.

30 Sebab itu pada hari yang ketujuh mereka tidak bekerja.

And they rested the people on the day seventh.

31 Makanan itu disebut manna oleh orang Israel. Rupanya seperti biji kecil-kecil berwarna putih dan rasanya seperti kue yang dibuat pakai madu.

And they called [the] household of Israel name its manna and it [was] like [the] seed of coriander white and taste its [was] like a wafer with honey.

32 Musa berkata, "TUHAN menyuruh kita mengambil kurang lebih dua liter manna untuk disimpan bagi keturunan kita, supaya mereka dapat melihat makanan yang diberikan TUHAN kepada kita di padang gurun, sewaktu kita dibawa-Nya keluar dari Mesir."

And he said Moses this [is] the word which he commands Yahweh [the] fullness of the omer of it [will be] for keeping to generations your so that - they may see the bread which I caused to eat you in the wilderness when brought out I you from [the] land of Egypt.

33 Musa berkata kepada Harun, "Ambillah sebuah belanga, masukkan kurang lebih dua liter manna ke dalamnya dan letakkanlah di hadapan TUHAN untuk disimpan bagi keturunan kita."

And he said Moses to Aaron take a jar one and put there [the] fullness of the omer manna and deposit it before Yahweh for keeping to generations your.

34 Maka Harun meletakkan belanga itu di depan Peti Perjanjian untuk disimpan sesuai dengan perintah TUHAN kepada Musa.

Just as he had commanded Yahweh to Moses and he deposited it Aaron before the testimony for keeping.

35 Manna itu menjadi makanan orang Israel selama empat puluh tahun berikutnya, sampai mereka tiba di Kanaan, tempat mereka menetap.

And [the] people of Israel they ate the manna forty year[s] until came they into a land inhabited the manna they ate until came they to [the] border of [the] land of Canaan.

36 (Takaran benda padat yang biasa dipakai orang pada zaman itu, berisi dua puluh liter.)

And the omer [is] [the] tenth [part] of the ephah it.
