Ulangan 25
1 Misalkan dua orang Israel pergi ke pengadilan untuk mengadukan suatu perkara, lalu yang seorang dinyatakan tidak bersalah, dan yang lain bersalah.

2 Kalau yang bersalah dijatuhi hukuman cambuk, hakim harus menyuruh dia menelungkup. Jumlah cambukan tergantung dari kejahatan yang telah dilakukannya,

12 potonglah tangan wanita itu dan jangan kasihani dia.

13 Jangan menipu dengan memakai timbangan dan takaran yang tidak betul.

15 Pakailah timbangan dan takaran yang tepat supaya kamu panjang umur di negeri yang diberikan TUHAN Allahmu kepadamu.
Thou schalt haue a iust weiyte and trewe, and an euene buyschel `and trewe schal be to thee, that thou lyue in myche tyme on the lond which thi Lord God schal yyue to thee.
16 TUHAN Allahmu benci kepada orang yang suka menipu."
For the Lord schal haue hym abhomynable that doith these thingis, and he wlatith, `ethir cursith, al vnriytfulnesse.
17 "Ingatlah bagaimana orang Amalek memperlakukan kamu pada waktu kamu dalam perjalanan keluar dari Mesir.
Haue thou mynde what thingis Amalech dide to thee in the weie, whanne thou yedist out of Egipt;
18 Mereka tidak takut kepada Allah dan menyerang kamu dari belakang ketika kamu sedang kelelahan dan kehabisan tenaga, lalu membunuh semua orang-orangmu yang dengan susah payah berjalan di belakang.

19 Oleh sebab itu, kalau TUHAN Allahmu sudah memberi negeri itu kepadamu dan kamu aman dari semua musuh yang tinggal di sekelilingmu, semua orang Amalek itu harus kamu bunuh sehingga mereka tidak diingat lagi. Jangan lupa!"
