2 Raja-raja 1
1 Setelah Ahab raja Israel meninggal, negeri Moab memberontak terhadap Israel.
And it rebelled Moab against Israel after [the] death of Ahab.
2 Pada suatu hari Raja Ahazia dari Israel jatuh dari serambi di tingkat atas istananya di Samaria, sehingga ia luka parah. Maka ia mengutus orang untuk bertanya kepada Baal-Zebub, dewa kota Ekron di Filistin, apakah ia akan sembuh atau tidak.
And he fell Ahaziah through the window-lattice in upper room his which [was] in Samaria and he became ill and he sent messengers and he said to them go consult Baal Zebub [the] god of Ekron if I will live from sickness this.
3 Tetapi malaikat TUHAN menyuruh Elia, nabi dari Tisbe, pergi menemui utusan-utusan Raja Ahazia itu untuk berkata, "Apakah di Israel tidak ada Allah sehingga kalian mau pergi meminta petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub, dewa kota Ekron itu?
And [the] angel of Yahweh he spoke to Elijah the Tishbite arise go up to meet [the] messengers of [the] king of Samaria and speak to them ¿ becasue not there not [is] a God in Israel [are] you going to consult Baal Zebub [the] god of Ekron.
4 Beritahukanlah kepada raja bahwa TUHAN berkata begini, 'Engkau tidak akan sembuh, engkau akan mati!'" Setelah Elia melaksanakan perintah TUHAN itu,
And therefore thus he says Yahweh the bed where you have gone up there not you will come down from it for certainly you will die and he went Elijah.
5 kembalilah utusan-utusan itu kepada raja, lalu raja bertanya, "Kenapa kalian kembali?"
And they returned the messengers to him and he said to them why? this have you returned.
6 Mereka menjawab, "Seorang laki-laki datang menemui kami, dan menyuruh kami kembali untuk mengatakan kepada Baginda bahwa TUHAN berkata begini kepada Baginda, 'Apakah di Israel tidak ada Allah, sehingga engkau menyuruh meminta petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub, dewa kota Ekron? Engkau tidak akan sembuh, engkau akan mati!'"
And they said to him a man - he came up to meet us and he said to us go return to the king who he sent you and you will speak to him thus he says Yahweh ¿ because not there not [is] a God in Israel [are] you sending to consult Baal Zebub [the] god Ekron therefore the bed where you have gone up there not you will come down from it for certainly you will die.
7 "Bagaimana rupa orang itu?" tanya raja.
And he spoke to them what? [was] [the] appearance of the man who he came up to meet you and he spoke to you the words these.
8 "Jubah dan ikat pinggangnya dari kulit," jawab mereka. "O, itu Elia!" kata raja.
And they said to him a man an owner of hair and a loincloth of hide [was] girded on loins his and he said [was] Elijah the Tishbite that.
9 Lalu ia menyuruh seorang perwira bersama lima puluh orang anak buahnya pergi menangkap Elia. Perwira itu pergi lalu menemukan Elia sedang duduk di sebuah bukit. "Hai, hamba Allah," kata perwira itu, "raja memerintahkan engkau turun!"
And he sent to him a commander of a fifty and fifty [men] his and he went up to him and there! [he was] sitting on [the] top of the hill and he spoke to him O man of God the king he has spoken come down!
10 "Kalau saya ini memang hamba Allah," jawab Elia, "hendaklah api turun dari langit dan membakar habis engkau serta semua anak buahmu!" Saat itu juga turunlah api dan membakar perwira itu dengan kelima puluh orang anak buahnya.
And he answered Elijah and he spoke to [the] commander of the fifty and if [am] a man of God I let it come down fire from the heavens and let it consume you and fifty [men] your and it came down fire from the heavens and it consumed him and fifty [men] his.
11 Lalu raja mengutus seorang perwira lain bersama lima puluh orang anak buahnya juga. Mereka pergi dan berkata kepada Elia, "Hai, hamba Allah, raja memerintahkan engkau turun sekarang ini juga!"
And he returned and he sent to him a commander of a fifty another and fifty [men] his and he answered and he spoke to him O man of God thus he says the king quickly come down!
12 "Kalau saya memang hamba Allah," jawab Elia, "hendaklah api turun dari langit dan membakar habis engkau serta semua anak buahmu!" Saat itu juga turunlah api dari Allah dan membakar habis perwira itu dengan kelima puluh orang anak buahnya.
And he answered Elijah and he spoke to them if [am] [the] man of God I let it come down fire from the heavens and let it consume you and fifty [men] your and it came down [the] fire of God from the heavens and it consumed him and fifty [men] his.
13 Sekali lagi raja mengutus seorang perwira bersama lima puluh orang anak buahnya. Perwira itu naik ke bukit dan setelah sampai di depan Elia ia berlutut dan berkata, "Ampunilah kami, ya hamba Allah! Kasihanilah saya dan semua anak buah saya ini. Janganlah kami dibunuh!
And he returned and he sent a commander of a fifty third and fifty [men] his and he went up and he went [the] commander of the fifty third and he bowed down on knees his - to before Elijah and he sought favor to him and he spoke to him O man of God let it be precious please life my and [the] life of servants your these fifty [men] in view your.
14 Dua perwira yang lain bersama anak buah mereka mati dimakan api dari langit, tetapi saya mohon, kasihanilah saya!"
Here! it has come down fire from the heavens and it has consumed [the] two [the] commanders of the fifties former and fifty [men] their and now let it be precious life my in view your.
15 Pada saat itu juga berkatalah malaikat TUHAN kepada Elia, "Jangan takut! Ikutlah dia turun dari bukit ini." Karena itu pergilah Elia bersama perwira itu kepada raja.
And he spoke [the] angel of Yahweh to Elijah go down him may not you be afraid of him and he arose and he went down him to the king.
16 Lalu kata Elia kepada raja, "TUHAN berkata, 'Engkau menyuruh orang meminta petunjuk kepada Baal-Zebub dewa kota Ekron seakan-akan di Israel tidak ada Allah yang dapat ditanyai. Karena itu engkau tidak akan sembuh, engkau akan mati!'"
And he spoke to him thus he says Yahweh because that you have sent messengers to consult Baal Zebub [the] god of Ekron ¿ because not [is] there not a God in Israel to consult word his therefore the bed where you have gone up there not you will come down from it for certainly you will die.
17 Maka matilah Ahazia seperti yang dikatakan TUHAN melalui Elia. Karena Ahazia tidak mempunyai anak laki-laki, maka Yoram saudaranya menjadi raja menggantikan dia. Itu terjadi pada tahun kedua pemerintahan Yehoram anak Yosafat, raja Yehuda.
And he died according to [the] word of Yahweh - which he spoke Elijah and he became king Jehoram in place of him. In year two of Jehoram [the] son of Jehoshaphat [the] king of Judah for not he belonged to him a son.
18 Kisah lainnya mengenai apa yang dilakukan Raja Ahazia dicatat dalam buku Sejarah Raja-raja Israel.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Ahaziah which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
