2 Tawarikh 7
1 Setelah Raja Salomo selesai berdoa, api turun dari langit membakar kurban-kurban yang dipersembahkan kepada TUHAN. Lalu cahaya kehadiran TUHAN memenuhi Rumah TUHAN itu,
And whanne Salomon schedynge preyeris hadde fillid, fier cam doun fro heuene, and deuouride brent sacrifices, and slayn sacrifices; and the maieste of the Lord fillide the hows.
2 sehingga para imam tak dapat memasukinya.
And preestis myyten not entre in to the temple of the Lord; for the maieste of the Lord hadde fillid the temple of the Lord.
3 Ketika rakyat Israel melihat api turun dari langit dan cahaya kehadiran TUHAN memenuhi Rumah TUHAN, mereka tersungkur di lantai lalu menyembah serta memuji Allah, karena Ia baik dan kasih-Nya kekal abadi.
But also alle the sones of Israel sien fier comynge doun, and the glorie of the Lord on the hows, and thei felden down lowe to the erthe on the pawment araied with stoon, and thei worschipiden, and preisiden the Lord, For he is good, for his merci is in to al the world.
4 Setelah itu Raja Salomo dan semua orang yang berkumpul di situ mempersembahkan kurban kepada TUHAN.

5 Untuk kurban perdamaian Salomo mempersembahkan 22.000 sapi dan 120.000 domba. Demikianlah raja dan seluruh rakyat mengadakan upacara penyerahan rumah ibadat itu kepada TUHAN.
Therfor king Salomon killide sacrifices of oxis two and twenti thousynd, of wetheris sixe score thousynde; and the kyng and al the puple halewiden the hows of God.
6 Para imam berdiri pada tempat yang ditetapkan bagi mereka; berhadapan dengan orang Lewi yang memuji TUHAN dengan alat-alat musik yang dibuat oleh Raja Daud, sambil menyanyikan nyanyian "Kasih-Nya Kekal Abadi!" sesuai dengan anjuran Daud. Para imam meniup trompet sementara seluruh rakyat berdiri.

7 Lalu bagian tengah dari pelataran yang di depan rumah ibadat itu diserahkan Salomo kepada TUHAN. Kemudian ia mempersembahkan di situ kurban bakaran, kurban gandum dan lemak binatang untuk kurban perdamaian. Semua itu dipersembahkannya di situ karena mezbah perunggu yang telah dibuatnya terlalu kecil untuk semua persembahan itu.

8 Salomo dan seluruh umat Israel mengadakan perayaan Pondok Daun selama tujuh hari. Sangat besar jumlah orang yang berkumpul untuk perayaan itu. Mereka datang dari daerah sejauh Jalan Hamat di utara sampai ke perbatasan Mesir di selatan.
Therfor Salomon made a solempnyte in that tyme in seuene dayes, and al Israel with hym, a ful greete chirche, fro the entryng of Emath `til to the stronde of Egipt.
9 Tujuh hari lamanya mereka berkumpul untuk upacara peresmian mezbah TUHAN, kemudian tujuh hari lagi untuk perayaan Pondok Daun. Pada hari terakhir diadakan perayaan penutupan,

10 dan keesokan harinya, pada tanggal 23 bulan tujuh, Salomo menyuruh orang-orang itu pulang. Mereka gembira atas semua yang baik yang dilakukan TUHAN kepada bangsa Israel umat-Nya, kepada Daud dan kepada Salomo.

11 Setelah Salomo berhasil menyelesaikan pembangunan Rumah TUHAN dan istana raja sesuai dengan rencananya,
And Salomon parformyde the hows of the Lord, and the hows of the kyng, and alle thingis which he hadde disposid in his herte for to do in the hows of the Lord and in his owne hows; and he hadde prosperite.
12 TUHAN menampakkan diri lagi kepadanya pada waktu malam. TUHAN berkata kepadanya, "Doamu sudah Kudengar dan Aku menerima rumah ini sebagai tempat yang khusus untuk mempersembahkan kurban bagi-Ku.
Forsothe the Lord aperide to hym in the nyyt, and seide, Y haue herd thi preiere, and Y haue chose this place to me in to an hows of sacrifice.
13 Apabila Aku tidak menurunkan hujan atau Aku mengirim belalang untuk menghabiskan hasil bumi atau mendatangkan wabah penyakit ke atas umat-Ku,
If Y close heuene, and reyn cometh not doun, and if Y sende, and comaunde to a locuste, that he deuoure the lond, and if Y send pestilence in to my puple;
14 lalu umat-Ku yang memakai nama-Ku itu merendahkan diri, dan berdoa serta datang kepada-Ku dan meninggalkan perbuatan mereka yang jahat, maka dari surga Aku akan mendengar doa mereka. Aku akan mengampuni dosa-dosa mereka dan menjadikan negeri mereka makmur kembali.

15 Aku akan terus memperhatikan Rumah-Ku ini dan siap mendengar semua doa yang dipanjatkan dari tempat ini.
And myn iyen schulen be openyd, and myn eeren schulen be reisid to the preiere of hym, that preieth in this place;
16 Semuanya itu akan Kulakukan karena tempat ini telah Kupilih dan Kukhususkan menjadi tempat ibadat kepada-Ku untuk selama-lamanya. Aku akan memperhatikannya dan melindunginya sepanjang masa.
for Y haue chose, and halewid this place, that my name be there with outen ende, and that myn iyen and myn herte dwelle there in alle daies.
17 Jikalau engkau, seperti Daud ayahmu, hidup menurut kehendak-Ku dan taat kepada hukum-hukum-Ku serta melakukan semua yang Kuperintahkan kepadamu,
Also if thou gost bifore me, as Dauid thi fadir yede, and doist bi alle thingis whiche Y comaundide to thee, and kepist my riytwisnessis and domes, Y schal reise the trone of thi rewme,
18 maka Aku akan menepati janji-Ku kepada ayahmu Daud bahwa selalu akan ada seorang dari keturunannya yang menjadi raja di Israel.
as Y bihiyte to Dauid thi fadir, and seide, A man of thi generacioun schal not be takun awei, that schal be prince in Israel.
19 Tetapi kalau engkau dan rakyatmu melanggar hukum-hukum dan perintah-perintah-Ku, serta menyembah ilah-ilah lain,
But if ye turnen awey, and forsake my riytwisnessis and my comaundementis whiche Y settide forth to you, and ye goen, and seruen alien goddis, and worschipen hem,
20 maka Aku akan mengeluarkan kamu dari negeri yang telah Kuberikan kepadamu. Aku juga akan meninggalkan rumah ini yang telah Kutetapkan menjadi tempat ibadat kepada-Ku. Di mana-mana rumah ini akan dihina dan ditertawakan.

21 Rumah ibadat ini sekarang sangat dihormati, tapi pada waktu itu setiap orang yang lewat di situ akan heran melihatnya. Mereka akan berkata, 'Mengapa TUHAN berbuat begitu terhadap negeri dan rumah ini?'
And this hows schal be in to a prouerbe to alle men passynge forth; and thei schulen seie, wondringe, Whi dide the Lord so to this lond, and to this hows?
22 Lalu orang akan menjawab, 'Karena mereka meninggalkan TUHAN, Allah mereka, yang telah mengantar leluhur mereka keluar dari Mesir. Mereka menyembah dan berjanji setia kepada ilah-ilah lain. Itulah sebabnya TUHAN mendatangkan bencana ini ke atas mereka.'"
And thei schulen answere, For thei forsoken the Lord God of her fadris, that ledde hem out of the lond of Egipt, and thei token alien goddis, and worschipiden, and herieden hem; therfor alle these yuelis camen on hem.
