1 Raja-raja 11
1 Raja Salomo mencintai banyak wanita asing. Selain putri raja Mesir, Salomo menikah juga dengan wanita-wanita Het, Moab, Amon, Edom dan Sidon.
And the king Solomon he loved women foreign many and [the] daughter of Pharaoh Moabite [women] Ammonite [women] Edomite [women] Sidonian [women] Hittite [women].
2 TUHAN sudah memerintahkan bahwa orang Israel tak boleh kawin campur dengan bangsa-bangsa itu, sebab mereka nanti menyebabkan orang Israel menyembah ilah-ilah lain. Walaupun demikian, Salomo menikahi juga wanita-wanita asing.
From the nations which he had said Yahweh to [the] people of Israel not you must go among them and they not they will go among you truly they will turn aside heart your after gods their to them he cleaved Solomon to love [them].
3 Ada 700 putri bangsawan yang dinikahi Salomo, dan ada pula 300 selirnya. Istri-istri itulah yang menyebabkan Salomo meninggalkan Allah,
And it belonged to him wives noble ladies seven hundred and concubines three hundred and they turned aside wives his heart his.
4 sehingga pada waktu ia sudah tua mereka berhasil membujuknya menyembah ilah-ilah lain. Daud, ayah Salomo, setia kepada TUHAN, Allahnya, tetapi Salomo tidak seperti ayahnya.
And it was to [the] time of [the] old age of Solomon wives his they turned aside heart his after gods other and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David father his.
5 Salomo menyembah Asytoret, dewi bangsa Sidon, dan juga Molokh dewa yang memuakkan yang disembah bangsa Amon.
And he walked Solomon after Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians and after Milcom [the] detestable thing of [the] Ammonites.
6 Demikianlah Salomo berdosa terhadap TUHAN. Daud, ayah Salomo mengikuti TUHAN dengan sepenuh hati, tetapi Salomo tidak seperti itu.
And he did Solomon the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he filled after Yahweh like David father his.
7 Di atas gunung sebelah timur Yerusalem, ia mendirikan tempat penyembahan untuk Kamos, dewa orang Moab, dan untuk Molokh, dewa orang Amon--kedua-duanya dewa yang memuakkan.
Then he built Solomon a high place for Chemosh [the] detestable thing of Moab on the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Jerusalem and for Molech [the] detestable thing of [the] people of Ammon.
8 Salomo mendirikan juga tempat-tempat di mana istri-istrinya yang berbangsa asing dapat membakar dupa, dan mempersembahkan kurban untuk dewa-dewa mereka sendiri.
And thus he did for all wives his foreign [who] made smoke and [who] sacrificed to gods their.
9 Sudah dua kali TUHAN, Allah Israel, menampakkan diri kepada Salomo dan mengingatkan dia bahwa ia tidak boleh menyembah ilah-ilah lain, namun Salomo tidak mentaati TUHAN. Ia malah meninggalkan TUHAN, sehingga TUHAN marah kepadanya.
And he was angry Yahweh with Solomon for it had turned aside heart his from with Yahweh [the] God of Israel who had appeared to him two times.
And he had commanded to him on the matter this to not to walk after gods other and not he observed [that] which he had commanded Yahweh.
11 TUHAN berkata, "Karena dengan sadar engkau melanggar perjanjianmu dengan Aku dan tidak mentaati perintah-perintah-Ku, maka Aku akan merenggut kerajaan itu daripadamu, dan memberikannya kepada seorang pegawaimu.
And he said Yahweh to Solomon because that it has been this with you and not you have observed covenant my and statutes my which I commanded to you certainly I will tear away the kingdom from with you and I will give it to servant your.
12 Meskipun begitu, demi ayahmu Daud, Aku tidak akan melakukan hal itu semasa hidupmu. Pada masa pemerintahan putramu, barulah Aku melakukannya.
Only in days your not I will do it for [the] sake of David father your from [the] hand of son your I will tear away it.
13 Tetapi tidak seluruh kerajaan itu akan Kurenggut daripadanya. Demi hamba-Ku Daud, dan demi Yerusalem yang telah Kujadikan kota-Ku itu, Aku akan menyisakan satu suku untuk putramu."
Only all the kingdom not I will tear away a tribe one I will give to son your for [the] sake of David servant my and for [the] sake of Jerusalem which I have chosen.
14 Maka TUHAN membuat Hadad, seorang keturunan raja Edom, memusuhi Raja Salomo.
And he raised up Yahweh an adversary to Solomon Hadad the Edomite [was] one of [the] offspring the king he in Edom.
15 Lama sebelum itu, sesudah Raja Daud menaklukkan Edom, Yoab, panglima angkatan bersenjata Raja Daud, pergi ke Edom untuk menguburkan orang-orangnya yang tewas. Enam bulan lamanya ia dan anak buahnya tinggal di Edom. Dan di dalam waktu itu mereka membunuh semua orang laki-laki di sana.
And it was when was David Edom when went up Joab [the] commander of the army to bury the [ones] slain and he struck down every male in Edom.
For six months he remained there Joab and all Israel until he had cut off every male in Edom.
17 Tetapi, Hadad yang pada waktu itu masih muda, telah lari ke Mesir bersama beberapa orang Edom, pelayan-pelayan ayahnya.
And he fled Hadad he and people Edomite some of [the] servants of father his with him to go Egypt and Hadad [was] a youth young.
18 Mereka berangkat dari Midian, lalu pergi ke Paran. Di sana beberapa orang lainnya bergabung dengan mereka, lalu bersama-sama pergi ke Mesir menemui raja Mesir. Raja itu memberikan kepada Hadad rumah dan tanah untuk tempat tinggalnya serta jaminan hidup.
And they arose from Midian and they went Paran and they took men with them from Paran and they went Egypt to Pharaoh [the] king of Egypt and he gave to him a house and food he assigned to him and land he gave to him.
19 Maka Hadad pun menjadi kawan baik raja, sehingga raja memberikan iparnya sendiri, yaitu adik permaisuri Tahpenes, kepada Hadad untuk menjadi istrinya.
And he found Hadad favor in [the] eyes of Pharaoh exceedingly and he gave to him a wife [the] sister of own wife his [the] sister of Tahpenes the queen.
20 Kemudian istri Hadad itu melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki yang diberi nama Genubat. Anak ini dibesarkan oleh permaisuri sendiri dan tinggal di istana bersama putra-putra raja.
And she bore to him [the] sister of Tahpenes Genubath son his and she weaned him Tahpenes in [the] midst of [the] household of Pharaoh and he was Genubath [the] house of Pharaoh in among [the] sons of Pharaoh.
21 Ketika Hadad menerima berita bahwa Raja Daud sudah meninggal, dan Yoab, panglima angkatan bersenjata Israel juga sudah meninggal, berkatalah Hadad kepada raja Mesir, "Perkenankanlah aku kembali ke tanah airku."
And Hadad he heard in Egypt that he had lain down David with ancestors his and that he had died Joab [the] commander of the army and he said Hadad to Pharaoh let go me so I may go to own land my.
22 "Kenapa?" tanya raja. "Apakah engkau kekurangan di sini, sehingga engkau mau kembali ke tanah airmu?" "Aku tidak kekurangan apa-apa," sahut Hadad, "tetapi biarkanlah aku pergi." Maka kembalilah ia ke tanah airnya.
And he said to him Pharaoh that what? [are] you lacking with me and here you [are] seeking to go to own land your and he said - In-deed really you will let go me.
23 Allah membuat juga Rezon, anak Elyada, memusuhi Salomo. Rezon adalah hamba yang melarikan diri dari tuannya yaitu Raja Hadadezer dari Zoba.
And he raised up God to him an adversary Rezon [the] son of Eliada who he had fled from with Hadadezer [the] king of Zobah master his.
24 Raja Daud pernah mengalahkan Hadadezer ini dan membunuh kawan-kawan Hadadezer dari Siria. Pada waktu itu Rezon melarikan diri dari Hadadezer dan mengumpulkan orang-orang lalu menjadi kepala gerombolan. Ia dan anak buahnya pergi ke Damsyik lalu tinggal di kota itu. Di sana anak buahnya mengangkat dia menjadi raja Siria.
And he gathered with him men and he was [the] leader of a marauding band when killed David them and they went Damascus and they dwelt in it and they reigned in Damascus.
25 Seperti Hadad, Raja Rezon pun memusuhi Israel semasa hidup Salomo, dan mengacau di negeri itu.
And he was an adversary of Israel all [the] days of Solomon and harm which Hadad and he loathed Israel and he reigned over Aram.
26 Orang lain yang memberontak melawan Salomo ialah salah seorang pegawainya yang bernama Yerobeam. Ia anak Nebat dari Zereda di Efraim. Ibunya sudah janda, bernama Zerua.
And Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat an Ephrathite from Zeredah and [the] name of mother his [was] Zeruah a woman a widow a servant of Solomon and he raised a hand on the king.
27 Berikut ini kisah tentang pemberontakan Yerobeam. Ketika tanah di sebelah selatan Rumah TUHAN sedang ditimbun, dan tembok kota diperbaiki,
And this [is] the reason why he raised a hand on the king Solomon he built the Millo he closed up [the] breach of [the] city of David father his.
28 Yerobeam juga bekerja di situ. Ketika Salomo melihat bahwa Yerobeam trampil dan rajin, ia memberikan kepadanya tanggung jawab untuk mengawasi kerja paksa di wilayah suku Manasye dan Efraim.
And the man Jeroboam [was] a mighty [man] of strength and he saw Solomon the young man that [was] doing work he and he appointed him to all [the] forced labor of [the] house of Joseph.
29 Pada suatu hari Yerobeam keluar dari Yerusalem. Di tengah jalan di padang ia didatangi Nabi Ahia dari Silo yang pada waktu itu memakai jubah yang baru.
And it was at the time that and Jeroboam he had gone out from Jerusalem and he found him Ahijah Shilonite the prophet on the way and he [was] covering himself with a cloak new and [the] two of them to alone them [were] in the open country.
30 Lalu Ahia melepaskan jubahnya, dan merobek-robeknya menjadi dua belas potong.
And he seized Ahijah the cloak new which [was] on him and he tore it two [plus] ten pieces.
31 Kemudian berkatalah ia kepada Yerobeam, "Ambillah sepuluh potong untuk dirimu, sebab TUHAN, Allah Israel, berkata begini kepadamu, 'Aku akan merenggut kerajaan ini dari Salomo, dan memberikan sepuluh suku kepadamu.
And he said to Jeroboam take for yourself ten pieces for thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to tear the kingdom from [the] hand of Solomon and I will give to you ten the tribes.
32 Satu suku akan tetap pada Salomo, demi hamba-Ku Daud, dan demi Yerusalem, yang telah Kupilih dari seluruh negeri Israel menjadi kota-Ku.
And the tribe one it will belong to him for [the] sake of - servant my David and for [the] sake of Jerusalem the city which I have chosen it from all [the] tribes of Israel.
33 Aku akan melakukan hal itu karena Salomo telah meninggalkan Aku dan menyembah dewa-dewa, yaitu: Asytoret, dewi bangsa Sidon; Kamos, dewa bangsa Moab; dan Milkom, dewa bangsa Amon. Salomo tidak menuruti kehendak-Ku. Ia tidak seperti ayahnya Daud yang taat kepada-Ku dan melaksanakan perintah-perintah-Ku.
Because - that they have forsaken me and they have bowed down to Astarte [the] god of [the] Sidonians to Chemosh [the] god of Moab and to Milcom [the] god of [the] people of Ammon and not they have walked in ways my by doing the right in view my and statutes my and judgments my like David father his.
34 Meskipun begitu Aku tidak akan mengambil seluruh kerajaan itu dari dia. Ia akan Kubiarkan berkuasa selama hidupnya. Hal itu Kulakukan demi hamba-Ku Daud, yang telah Kupilih dan yang mentaati hukum-hukum-Ku dan perintah-perintah-Ku.
And not I will take all the kingdom from hand his for - ruler I will make him all [the] days of life his for [the] sake of David servant my whom I chose him who he observed commandments my and statutes my.
35 Kerajaan ini akan Kuambil dari putra Salomo dan sepuluh suku akan Kuberikan kepadamu.
And I will take the kingship from [the] hand of son his and I will give it to you [the] ten the tribes.
36 Namun satu suku akan Kubiarkan padanya, supaya selalu ada seorang dari keturunan hamba-Ku Daud yang memerintah untuk Aku di Yerusalem, kota yang telah Kupilih sebagai tempat ibadat kepada-Ku.
And to son his I will give a tribe one so as to belong a lamp to David servant my all the days - before me in Jerusalem the city which I have chosen for myself to put name my there.
37 Dan kau, Yerobeam, akan Kujadikan raja Israel dan Kuperkenankan memerintah seluruh daerah yang engkau kehendaki.
And you I will take and you will reign over all that it will desire self your and you will be king over Israel.
38 Jikalau engkau, seperti hamba-Ku Daud, taat sepenuhnya kepada-Ku serta hidup menurut hukum-hukum-Ku, dan menyenangkan hati-Ku dengan melakukan semua yang Kuperintahkan kepadamu, maka Aku akan menyertaimu selalu. Aku akan menjadikan engkau raja di Israel. Aku akan menjamin bahwa keturunanmu akan menjadi raja Israel menggantikan engkau, sama seperti yang telah Kubuat untuk Daud.
And it will be if you will listen to all that I will command you and you will walk in ways my and you will do the right in view my by observing statutes my and commandments my just as he did David servant my and I will be with you and I will build for you a house enduring just as I built for David and I will give to you Israel.
39 Karena Salomo berdosa, Aku akan menghukum keturunan Daud, tetapi tidak untuk selama-lamanya.'"
So I may afflicted [the] offspring of David on account of this nevertheless not all the days.
40 Ketika berita itu sampai kepada Salomo, ia berusaha membunuh Yerobeam. Tetapi Yerobeam lari kepada Raja Sisak di Mesir, dan tinggal di situ sampai Salomo meninggal.
And he sought Solomon to put to death Jeroboam and he arose Jeroboam and he fled Egypt to Shishak [the] king of Egypt and he was in Egypt until [the] death of Solomon.
41 Kisah lainnya mengenai Salomo, mengenai semua yang telah dikerjakannya dan mengenai pengetahuannya, sudah dicatat dalam buku Riwayat Hidup Salomo.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Solomon and all that he did and wisdom his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of Solomon.
42 Empat puluh tahun lamanya Salomo memerintah di Yerusalem atas seluruh Israel.
And the days which he reigned Solomon in Jerusalem over all Israel [were] forty year[s].
43 Kemudian ia meninggal dan dimakamkan di Kota Daud. Lalu Rehabeam putranya menjadi raja menggantikan dia.
And he lay down Solomon with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] city of David father his and he became king Rehoboam son his in place of him.
