Ruth 4
1 Ita, napan ni Boaz iti ruangan ket nagtugaw sadiay. Iti saan a nagbayag, simmangpet ti ibagbaga ni Boaz nga asideg a kabagian. Kinuna ni Boaz kenkuana, “Gayyem, umayka ket agtugawka ditoy.” Immasideg ti lalaki ket nagtugaw.
Then went Boaz vp to the gate, and sate there, and beholde, the kinsman, of whome Boaz had spoken, came by: and he sayd, Ho, snch one, come, sit downe here. And he turned, and sate downe.
2 Kalpasanna, nangayab ni Boaz iti sangapulo a panglakayen iti siudad ket kinunana, “Agtugawkayo ditoy.” Nagtugawda ngarud.
Then he tooke ten men of the Elders of the citie, and sayd, Sit ye downe here. And they sate downe.
3 Kinuna ni Boaz iti asideg a kabagian, “Ilaklako ni Naomi, a nagsubli manipud idiay pagilian ti Moab, ti paset ti daga a kukua ni Elimelec a kabsattayo.
And he said vnto ye kinsman, Naomi, that is come againe out of ye countrey of Moab, wil sell a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelechs.
4 Napanunotko nga ipakaammo ken ibaga kenka, 'Gatangem daytoy iti imatang dagiti agtugtugaw ditoy, ken iti imatang dagiti panglakayen dagiti tattaok.' No kayatmo a subboten, ket subbotem ngarud daytoy. Ngem no saanmo a kayat a subboten daytoy, ibagam kaniak tapno ammok, gapu ta awanen ti sabali pay a mangsubbot iti daytoy malaksid kenka, ket siak ti sumarsaruno kenka.” Ket kinuna ti lalaki, “Subbotek daytoy.”
And I thought to aduertise thee, saying, Buy it before the assistants, and before the Elders of my people. If thou wilt redeeme it, redeeme it: but if thou wilt not redeeme it, tel me: for I know that there is none besides thee to redeeme it, and I am after thee. Then he answered, I wil redeeme it.
5 Kalpasanna, kinuna ni Boaz, “Iti kanito a gatangem ti talon manipud iti ima ni Naomi, masapul nga alaem met ni Ruth, ti Moabita nga asawa daydi natay a lalaki, tapno maitakder ti nagan ti natay iti tawidna.”
Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou mnst also buy it of Ruth the Moabitesse the wife of the dead, to stirre vp the name of the dead, vpon his inheritance.
6 Ket kinuna ti asideg a kabagian, “Saanko a mabalin a subboten daytoy a para kaniak gapu ta madadael ti bukodko a tawid. Alaem ti karbengak a mangsubbot, ta saankon a masubbot daytoy.”
And the kinsman answered, I can not redeeme it, lest I destroy mine owne inheritance: redeeme my right to thee, for I can not redeeme it.
7 Ita, daytoy ti kaugalian idi un-unana a panawen iti Israel maipanggep iti panangsubbot ken panangisukat kadagiti sanikua. Tapno mapatalgedan ti amin a banag, uksoten ti lalaki ti sapatosna ket itedna daytoy iti kaarubana; daytoy iti gagangay a wagas iti pannakitulag ti Israel.
Now this was the maner beforetime in Israel, concerning redeeming and changing, for to stablish all things: a man did plucke off his shooe, and gaue it his neighbour, and this was a sure witnes in Israel.
8 Kinuna ngarud ti asideg a kabagian kenni Boaz, “Sika lattan ti manggatang.” Ket inuksotna ti sapatosna.
Therefore the kinsman sayd to Boas, Buy it for thee: and he drew off his shooe.
9 Kalpasanna, kinuna ni Boaz kadagiti panglakayen ken kadagiti amin a tattao, “Saksikayo ita nga aldaw a ginatangkon amin a kukua ni Elimelec, ken amin a kukua da Kilion ken Mahalon manipud iti ima ni Naomi.
And Boaz sayd vnto the Elders and vnto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I haue bought all that was Elimelechs, and all that was Chilions and Mahlons, of the hand of Naomi.
10 Maysa pay, maipanggep kenni Ruth a Moabita, ti asawa ni Mahalon: alaek met isuna nga agbalin nga asawak, tapno maitakderko ti nagan ti natay iti tawidna, tapno saan a mapukaw ti naganna kadagiti kakabsatna ken iti ruangan iti lugarna. Saksikayo iti daytoy nga aldaw.”
And moreouer, Ruth the Moabitesse the wife of Mahlon, haue I bought to be my wife, to stirre vp the name of the dead vpon his inheritance, and that the name of the dead be not put out from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.
11 Kinuna dagiti amin a tattao ken dagiti panglakayen nga adda idiay ruangan, “Saksikami. Pagbalinen koma ni Yahweh ti babai nga immay iti pagtaengam a kas kada Raquel ken Lea, dagiti dua a nangbangon ti balay ti Israel. Ket rumang-ayka koma idiay Efrata ken agdinamagka koma iti Bethlehem.
And all the people that were in the gate, and the Elders sayd, We are witnesses: the Lord make the wife that commeth into thine house, like Rahel and like Leah, which twaine did build the house of Israel: and that thou mayest doe worthily in Ephrathah, and be famous in Beth-lehem,
12 Agbalin koma ti pagtaengam a kas iti pagtaengan ni Perez, nga impasngay ni Tamar kenni Juda, babaen iti anak nga ited ni Yahweh kadakayo iti daytoy nga agtutubo a babai.”
And that thine house be like the house of Pharez (whom Thamar bare vnto Iudah) of the seede which the Lord shall giue thee of this yong woman.
13 Innala ngarud ni Boaz ni Ruth, ket nagbalin isuna nga asawana. Nakikaidda isuna kenkuana, ket impalubos ni Yahweh nga agsikog isuna, ket nangipasngay ti babai iti maysa nga anak a lalaki.
So Boaz tooke Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in vnto her, the Lord gaue that she conceiued, and bare a sonne.
14 Kinuna dagiti babbai kenni Naomi, “Madaydayaw koma ni Yahweh, a saan nangibati kenka ita nga aldaw nga awanan iti asideg a kabagian, daytoy a maladaga. Nalatakto koma ti naganna iti Israel.
And the women sayd vnto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, and his name shalbe continued in Israel.
15 Isunto koma iti mangpasubli ti biagmo ken mangpakaradkad kenka iti kinabaketmo, ta impasngay isuna ti manugangmo, a mangay-ayat kenka, a nasaysayaat kenka ngem ti pito nga annak a lallaki.”
And this shall bring thy life againe, and cherish thine olde age: for thy daughter in lawe which loueth thee, hath borne vnto him, and she is better to thee then seuen sonnes.
16 Ket innala ni Naomi ti ubing, insadagna iti barukongna, ket inaywananna daytoy.
And Naomi tooke the childe, and layde it in her lap, and became nource vnto it.
17 Ket dagiti babbai, dagiti kaarubana, intedda kenkuana ti maysa a nagan, a kunada, “Adda maysa nga anak a lalaki a naiyanak kenni Naomi.” Pinanagananda isuna iti Obed. Isuna ti nagbalin nga ama ni Jesse, nga ama ni David.
And the women her neighbours gaue it a name, saying, There is a childe borne to Naomi, and called the name thereof Obed: the same was the father of Ishai, the father of Dauid.
18 Ita, dagitoy dagiti kaputotan ni Perez: Ni Perez ti nagbalin nga ama ni Hesron,
These now are ye generations of Pharez: Pharez begate Hezron,
19 ni Hesron ket nagbalin nga ama ni Ram, ni Ram ket nagbalin nga ama ni Aminadab,
And Hezron begate Ram, and Ram begate Amminadab,
20 ni Aminadab ket nagbalin nga ama ni Naason, ni Naason ket nagbalin nga ama ni Salmon,
And Amminadab begate Nahshon, and Nahshon begate Salmah,
21 ni Salmon ket nagbalin nga ama ni Boaz, ni Boaz ket nagbalin nga ama ni Obed,
And Salmon begate Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,
22 ni Obed ket nagbalin nga ama ni Jesse, ni Jesse ti nagbalin nga ama ni David.
And Obed begate Ishai, and Ishai begate Dauid.
