Roma 15

1 Ita, datayo a napigsa ket masapul a tulongantayo iti pagkapsutan dagiti nakapsut, ken saan a masapul a paragsaken iti bagbagitayo.

We are bound, however, we, who are strong, the weakness of them who are not strong to be bearing, and not, unto ourselves, to give pleasure.

2 Paragsaken koma ti tunggal maysa kadatayo iti kaarrubana ta dayta iti nasayaat, tapno mapatibker isuna.

Let, each one of us, unto his neighbour give pleasure—for what is good unto upbuilding;

3 Ta uray ni Cristo ket saanna a pinaragsak iti bagina. Ngem ketdi, daytoy ket kas naisurat, “Natnag kaniak dagiti panangpabain dagiti nangpabain kadakayo.”

For, even the Christ, not unto himself gave pleasure, but, even as it is written—The reproaches of them that we reproaching thee, fell upon me:

4 Ta no ania iti naisurat iti naglabas ket naisurat para iti pakasursuroantayo, tapno maaddaantayo ti talged babaen iti kinaanus ken babaen iti panangpabileg iti nasantoan a sursurat.

Whatsoever things, in fact, were written aforetime, [all] for our own instruction were written, —in order that, through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have their hope.

5 Ipaay koma ita ti Dios kadakayo iti kinaanus ken pannakapabileg iti agpada a panunot ti tunggal maysa a maiyannurot kenni Cristo Jesus.

Now may, the God of the endurance and of the encouragement, give you, the same thing, to be regarding amongst one another, according to Christ Jesus;

6 Aramidenna koma daytoy tapno iti maymaysa a panunot ket mapadayawanyo ti Dios ken Ama ti Apotayo a ni Jesu-Cristo.

In order that, with one accord, with one mouth, ye maybe glorifying the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

7 Awatenyo ngarud iti tunggal maysa, a kas panangawat met ni Cristo kadakayo, iti pammadayaw iti Dios.

Wherefore receive ye one another, even as, Christ also, hath received us unto the glory of God: —

8 Ta ibagak a nagbalin nga adipen ti pannakakugit ni Cristo iti biang ti kinapudno iti Dios. Inaramidna daytoy tapno maipatungpalna dagiti kari a naited kadagiti amma,

For I affirm Christ to have become a minister of circumcision in behalf of the truth of God, —to confirm the promises of the fathers,

9 ken tapno itan-ok dagiti Hentil ti Dios gapu iti asina. Kas naisurat, “Mangtedakto ngarud iti pammadayaw kenka kadagiti Hentil ken agkantaakto ti pagdaydayaw iti naganmo.”

And that, the nations, for mercy should glorify God: —even as it is written—For this cause, will I openly confess unto thee among nations, and, unto thy name, will strike the strings;

10 Imbagana pay daytoy, “Agrag-okayo, dakayo a Hentil, kadagiti tattaona.”

And again he saith—Be glad ye nations with his people;

11 Kunana manen, “Idaydayawyo ti Apo, dakayo amin a Hentil; Idaydayaw koma amin a tattao isuna.”

And again, —Be giving praise all ye nations unto the Lord, and let all the peoples repeat his praise;

12 Ibagbaga manen ni Isaias, “Addanto iti kaputotan ni Jesse, ken ti tumakderto nga agturay kadagiti Hentil. Maaddaanto iti talek dagiti Hentil kenkuana.”

And, again, Isaiah, saith—There shall be the root of Jesse, and he that ariseth to rule nations, —upon, him, shall nations hope.

13 Punoennakayo koma ti Dios iti talged iti amin rag-o ken kapia iti panamatiyo, tapno dumakkel ti talgedyo, babaen iti pannakabalin ti Espiritu Santo.

Now, the God of the hope, fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye may surpass in the hope, in the power of Holy Spirit.

14 Mamatiak mismo maipanggep kadakayo, kakabsatko. Mamatiak met a napnoankayo iti kinaimbag, napnoan iti amin a pannaka-ammo. Mamatiak met a kabaelanyo iti mangbagbaga iti tunggal maysa.

But I am persuaded my brethren, —even, I myself, concerning you: that, ye yourselves, also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also, unto one another, to be ministering admonition:

15 Ngem ad-adda a timmuredak nga agsursurat kadakayo maipanggep iti sumagmamano a banbanag tapno palagipankayo manen, gapu iti sagut nga inted ti Dios kaniak.

Howbeit, the more boldly, have I written unto you, —in some measure, as bringing it back to your minds, —by reason of the favour given unto me from God, —

16 Daytoy a sagut ket tapno agbalinak nga adipen ni Cristo Jesus a naibaon kadagiti Hentil, tapno idaton a kas padi ti ebanghelio iti Dios. Rumbeng nga aramidek daytoy tapno agbalin a makaay-ayo iti panagidatdaton dagiti Hentil maipaay iti Dios babaen iti Espiritu Santo.

That I should be a public minister of Christ Jesus unto the nations, doing priestly service with the glad-message of God, in order that the offering up of the nations might prove to be acceptable, being hallowed in Holy Spirit:

17 Isu nga iti pakaragsakak ket adda kenni Cristo Jesus ken kadagiti banbanag iti Dios.

I have, therefore, [my] boasting in Christ Jesus in the things pertaining to God, —

18 Ta saanak nga agbain a mangibaga iti aniaman a banag malaksid ti naaramidan ni Cristo babaen kaniak gapu iti panagtulnog dagiti Hentil. Naaramid dagitoy a banbanag babaen iti sao ken aramid,

For I wilt not dare to speak anything save of the things which Christ hath wrought out for himself through me for the obedience of nations, —by word and deed,

19 babaen ti pannakabalin dagiti pagilasinan ken dagiti nakakaskasdaaw ken babaen ti pannakabalin iti Espiritu Santo. Isu a manipud iti Jerusalem ken agingga iti kas kaadayo iti Ilirico, naan-anay a naikasabak ti ebanghelio ni Cristo.

By the power of signs and wonders, by the power of [Holy Spirit]; so that I, from Jerusalem and in a circuit as far as Illyricum, have fulfilled the glad-message of the Christ, —

20 Iti kastoy a wagas, tarigagayko iti mangiwaragawag ti ebanghelio, ngem saan nga ti lugar a naam-ammon iti nagan ni Cristo, tapno saanak a mangipatakder iti rabaw ti pondasion iti sabali a tao.

Although, thus, —as ambitious to be announcing the glad-message—not where Christ had been named, lest, upon another’s foundation, I should be building;

21 Kas naisurat: “Dagiti immay a saan pay a nakadamag kenkuana ket makitadanto isuna ken maawatanto dagiti saan pay a nakangngeg.”

But, even as it is written—They shall see unto whom had been announced no tidings concerning him, and, they who had not heard, shall understand.

22 Nalapdanak met ngarud iti namin-adu a daras iti iyuumayko kadakayo.

Wherefore, also, I have been hindered these many times from coming unto you;

23 Ngem ita, awananakon ti lugar kadagitoy a rehion ken tinartarigagayak iti ad-adu pay a tawen nga iyuumayko kadakayo.

But, now, no longer having place in these regions, and having had, a longing, to come unto you a good many years, —

24 Isu a no mapanak idiay Espania, namnamaek a makitakayo iti ilalabasko ken agpatulodak iti dalanko kadakayo kalpasan a makipagragsakak kadakayo iti apagbiit.

As soon as I am journey to Spain, —I am hoping, in fact, when journeying through to get sight of you, and by you to be set forward thither, —if, with your company, I have first in some measure been satisfied.

25 Ngem mapanakon ita idiay Jerusalem tapno agserbi kadagiti namati.

But, now, I am journeying unto Jerusalem, ministering unto the saints;

26 Ta pakaragsakan dagiti taga Macedonia ken taga Grecia ti mangted iti maysa a tulong kadagiti nakurapay kadagiti namati nga adda idiay Jerusalem.

For Macedonia and Achaia have been well-pleased to make a certain fellowship for the destitute of the saints who are in Jerusalem, —

27 Wen, pakaragsakanda ken pudno, isuda dagiti nakautang. Ta no nakibingay dagiti Hentil kadagiti naespirituan a banbanag, ket nakautangda met kadakuada nga agserbida iti material a banbanag.

They have been well-pleased, indeed, —and, their debtors, they are; for, if, with their spiritual things the nations have come into fellowship, they are bound also with their own carnal things to minister publicly unto them.

28 Inton maleppaskon ngarud daytoy ken naiyawatkon daytoy a bunga kadakuada, mapanakton iti dalan nga agturong idiay Espania.

This, then, having completed, and sealed unto them this fruit, I will come back by you unto Spain: —

29 Ammok dayta, nga inton umayak kadakayo, umayakto a napnoan iti bendision ni Cristo.

And know that, when I come unto you, in the fullness of the blessing of Christ, I shall come.

30 Ita, guyugoyenkayo, kakabsat, babaen kenni Apotayo a Jesu-Cristo, ken babaen iti ayat iti Espiritu, a buyogandak iti nainget a panagkararagyo iti Dios para kaniak.

I beseech you, moreover, [brethren], through our Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers on my behalf unto God, —

31 Ikararagyo a mailisiak koma kadagiti saan nga agtulnog idiay Judea ken maawat koma dagiti namati iti panagserbik idiay Jerusalem.

In order that I may be delivered from them who do not yield in Judaea, and, my ministry which is unto Jerusalem, may prove to be acceptable unto the saints;

32 Ikararagyo a makaumayakto koma kadakayo a sirarag-o babaen iti pagayatan ti Dios, ken tapno koma agkakaduatayo, a makasarak iti inana.

In order that, with joy coming unto you through God’s will, I may together with you find rest.

33 Sapay koma ta adda kadakayo amin ti Dios a mangted iti talna. Amen

Now, the God of peace, be with you all. Amen.
