< Roma 14 >

1 Awatenyo ti siasinoman a nakapuy iti pammati, nga awan panangdillaw kadagiti kapanunotanna.
To him who is feeble in the faith, reach forth the hand. And be not divided in your thoughts.
2 Addaan ti pammati ti maysa a tao a mangan iti uray ania, ti sabali met a nakapuy ket mangan laeng kadagiti natnateng.
For one man believeth, that he may eat every thing: and he that is feeble, eateth herbs.
3 Sapay koma ta saan a laisen ti mangmangan iti amin a banag ti saan a mangmangan iti amin a banag. Ken sapay koma ta saan nga ukomen ti saan a mangmangan iti amin banag ti mangmangan iti amin banag. Ta inawat isuna ti Apo.
And he that eateth, should not despise him that eateth not; and he that eateth not, should not judge him that eateth, for God hath received him.
4 Siasinnoka koma, sika a manguk-ukom iti adipen ti sabali? Ti laeng amona ti mangikeddeng no awatenna wenno saan. Ngem mapagtakderto isuna, ta kabaelan ti Dios a pagtakderen isuna.
Who art thou, that thou judgest a servant not thine; and who, if he standeth, he standeth to his Lord; and if he falleth, he falleth to his Lord? But he will assuredly stand; for his Lord hath power to establish him.
5 Kuna ti maysa a tao a napatpateg ti maysa nga aldaw ngem dagiti dadduma nga aldaw. Kuna met ti maysa nga agpapada dagiti aldaw. Maallukoy koma ti tunggal tao iti bukodna a kapanunotan.
One man discriminateth between days; and another judgeth all days alike. But let every one be sure, in regard to his knowledge.
6 Isuna a mangngilin iti aldaw ket ngilinenna para iti Apo. Ken isuna a mangan, mangan para iti Apo, ta pagyamananna ti Dios. Isuna a saan a mangan, saan a mangan para iti Apo. Agyamyaman met isuna iti Dios.
He that esteemeth a day, esteemeth it for his Lord: and he that esteemeth not a day, for his Lord, he doth not esteem it. And he that eateth, eateth to his Lord, and giveth thanks to God: and he that eateth not, to his Lord he eateth not, and giveth thanks to God.
7 Ta awan kadatayo ti agbibiag para iti bagina, ken awan ti matay para iti bagina.
For there is not one of us, who liveth for himself: and there is not one, who dieth for himself.
8 Ta no agbiagtayo, agbiagtayo para iti Apo. Ket no mataytayo, mataytayo para iti Apo. Ket agbiagtayo man wenno matay, kukuanatayo ti Apo.
Because, if we live, to our Lord it is we live; or if we die, to our Lord it is we die. Whether we live, therefore, or whether we die, we are our Lord's.
9 Ta iti daytoy a panggep, natay ni Cristo ken nagbiag manen, tapno agbalin isuna nga Apo dagiti natay ken dagiti sibibiag.
Moreover, for this cause Messiah died, and revived, and arose; that he might be Lord of the dead and of the living.
10 Ngem sika, apay nga ukomem ti kabsatmo? Ken sika, apay nga umsiem ti kabsatmo? Ta agtakdertayto amin iti sangoanan iti tugaw a pangukoman ti Dios.
But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? or, why dost thou despise thy brother? For we must all stand before the judgment seat of Messiah,
11 Ta naisurat, “Bayat nga agbibiagak,” kuna ti Apo, “agparintumengto kaniak ti amin a tattao, ken agdaydayawto ti tunggal dila iti Dios.”
as it is written: As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow; and to me every tongue shall give praise.
12 Ngarud, dumatagto ti tunggal maysa kadatayo iti Dios.
So then, every one of us must give account of himself to God.
13 Saantayo ngaruden nga ukomen ti tunggal maysa, ngem ketdi ikeddengtayo daytoy nga awanto ti mangikabil iti pakaitibkolan wenno mangsilo iti kabsatna.
Henceforth, judge ye not one another; but rather, judge ye this, that thou erect not a stumbling-block for thy brother.
14 Ammok ken nauyotanak kenni Apo Jesus, nga awan ti narugit a bukbukodna. Kenkuana laeng a mangibilbilang a saan a nadalus ti aniaman a banag, saan a nadalus daytoy kenkuana.
I know indeed, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing which is unclean in itself; but to him who thinketh any thing to be unclean, to him only it is defiled.
15 No mapasakitan ti kabsatmo gapu iti taraon, saankan a magmagna iti ayat. Saanmo a dadaelen ti tao gapu iti taraonmo a nakaigapuan ti pannakatay ni Cristo.
But if thou grievest thy brother, because of food, thou walkest not in love. On account of food, destroy not him for whom Messiah died.
16 Isu a saanyo nga itulok nga uyawen dagiti tattao dagiti ipagarupyo a nasayaat nga ar-aramidyo.
And let not our good thing be matter of reproach.
17 Ta ti pagarian ti Dios ket saan a maipapan iti taraon ken mainom, ngem maipanggep iti kinalinteg, kapia, ken rag-o nga ited iti Espiritu Santo.
For the kingdom of God, is not food and drink; but is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
18 Ta ti tao nga agserserbi kenni Cristo iti kastoy a wagas ket paragsakenna ti Dios ken anamungan dagiti tattao.
For he who is in these things a servant of Messiah, is pleasing to God, and approved before men.
19 Ngarud, gun-odentayo koma dagiti banbanag a mangted kapia ken dagiti banbanag a mangpabileg iti tunggal maysa.
Now let us strive after peace, and after the edification of one another.
20 Saanmo a dadaelen ti trabaho ti Dios gapu iti taraon. Pudno a nadalus ti amin a banbanag, ngem dakes daytoy para iti dayta a tao a mangan ken pakaitibkulanna.
And let us not, on account of food, destroy the work of God. For every thing is, indeed, pure; yet it is evil, to the man who eateth with stumbling.
21 Nasayaat ti saan a mangan iti karne, wenno uminom iti arak, wenno aniaman a banag a pakasairan ti kabsatmo.
It is proper, that we neither eat flesh, nor drink wine, nor do any thing, whereby our brother is stumbled.
22 Dagitoy a pammati nga adda kadakayo, dakayo laeng ken ti Dios ti makaammo. Nagasat ti tao a saanna a mariribuk ti konsensiana maipanggep iti an-anamonganna.
Thou art one in whom there is faith; keep it to thyself, before God. Blessed is he, who doth not condemn himself, in that thing which he alloweth.
23 Mariribuk ti konsensia ti agduadua, no mangan isuna, gapu ta saan daytoy a nagtaud iti pammati. Ken basol ti aniaman a saan a nagtaud iti pammati.
For he who eateth and doubteth, is condemned; because he eateth not in faith. For every thing which is not of faith, is sin.
