< Roma 11 >

1 Ibagak ngarud, linaksid kadi ti Dios dagiti tattaona? Saan. Gapu ta maysaak met nga Israelita, a kaputotan ni Abraham, iti tribu ni Benhamin.
I say then, did God cast away His people? Let it not be! For I am also an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin:
2 Saan a linaksid ti Dios dagiti tattaona, nga am-ammona idi pay laeng. Saanyo kadi nga ammo iti kinuna iti Nasantoan a Sursurat maipanggep kenni Elias, no kasano ti panagpakpakaasina iti Dios a maibusor iti Israel?
God did not cast away His people whom He knew before; have you not known—in Elijah—what the Writing says? How he pleads with God concerning Israel, saying,
3 “Apo, pinatayda dagiti profetam, dinadaelda dagiti altarmo. Sisiak laeng ti nabati, ket an-anupenda ti biagko.”
“LORD, they killed Your prophets, and they dug down Your altars, and I was left alone, and they seek my life”;
4 Ngem ania ti kuna iti sungbat ti Dios kenkuana? “Nagilasinak para iti bagik iti pito a ribo a lallaki a saan a nagparintumeng kenni Baal.”
but what does the divine answer say to him? “I left to Myself seven thousand men who did not bow a knee to Ba‘al.”
5 Uray pay no kasta, iti daytoy met nga agdama a tiempo, adda ti nabati gapu iti panangpili ti parabur.
So then also in the present time there has been a remnant according to the [divine] selection of grace;
6 Ngem no babaen iti parabur, saanen a babaen iti ar-aramid.
and if by grace, no longer of works, otherwise grace becomes no longer grace; and if of works, it is no longer grace, otherwise work is no longer work.
7 Ta no saan, pulos a saanen a parabur ti parabur. Ania ngarud? Ti banag a birbiruken ti Israel, saanna a nagun-od, ngem nagun-od daytoy dagiti napili, ken napatangken dagiti dadduma.
What then? What Israel seeks after, this it did not obtain, and the chosen obtained, and the rest were hardened,
8 Daytoy ket kas iti naisurat: “Inikkan ida ti Dios ti espiritu ti kinakuneng, matmata tapno saanda a makakita, ken laplapayag tapno saanda a makangngeg, agingga iti daytoy nga aldaw.”
according as it has been written: “God gave to them a spirit of deep sleep, eyes not to see, and ears not to hear, to this very day,”
9 Ken kinuna ni David, “Adda koma maaramid nga iket iti lamisaanda, palab-og, pakaitibkolan, ken panangbales kadakuada.
and David says, “Let their table become for a snare, and for a trap, and for a stumbling-block, and for a repayment to them;
10 Sumipnget koma dagiti matada tapno saanda a makakita. Kankanayonna ida a pagkubboen iti Dios.”
let their eyes be darkened—not to behold, and You always bow down their back.”
11 Ibagak ngarud, “Naitibkolda kadi tapno matnagda?” Saan. Ngem ketdi, gapu iti nagkuranganda, immay iti pannakaisalakan kadagiti Hentil, tapno paapalen ida.
I say then, did they stumble that they might fall? Let it not be! But by their fall the salvation [is] to the nations, to arouse them to jealousy;
12 Ita, no ti nagkuranganda ket dagiti kinabaknang ti lubong, ken no ti pukawda ket isu iti kinabaknang dagiti Hentil, dinto aya dakdakkel ti pannakaan-anayda?
and if their fall [is] the riches of [the] world, and their diminishment the riches of nations, how much more their fullness?
13 Ket agsasaoak ita kadakayo a Hentil. Yantangay ta apostolak kadagiti Hentil, ipagpannakkelko ti ministeryok.
For to you I speak—to the nations—inasmuch as I am indeed an apostle of nations, I glorify my ministry;
14 Nalabit a mapaapalko dagiti nagtaud iti lasagko. Nalabit a maisalakantayo dagiti dadduma kadakuada.
if I will arouse my own flesh to jealousy by any means, and will save some of them,
15 Ta no ti pannakailaksid dagitoy ket ti panagkakapia ti lubong, anianto ti pannakaawatda no di ket biag manipud iti patay?
for if the casting away of them [is] a reconciliation of the world, what the reception—if not life out of the dead?
16 No nailasin dagiti umuna a bunga, kasta met ti masa a maaramid iti tinapay. No nailasin ti ramut, kasta met dagiti sanga.
And if the first-fruit [is] holy, the lump also; and if the root [is] holy, the branches also.
17 Ngem no natukkol dagiti dadduma kadagiti sanga, no sika, a balang a sanga iti olibo, ket naisilpo kadakuada, ken no nakibingayka kadakuada iti nabaknang a ramut iti puon ti olibo,
And if certain of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and became a fellow-partaker of the root and of the fatness of the olive tree—
18 saanka nga agpasindayag kadagiti sanga. Ngem no agpasindayagka, saan a sika iti mangtultulong iti ramut, ngem ti ramut ti mangtultulong kenka.
do not boast against the branches; and if you boast, you do not bear the root, but the root you!
19 Ket ibagamto ngarud, “Natukkol dagiti sanga tapno maisilpoak.”
You will say, then, “The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in”; right!
20 Pudno dayta. Natukkolda gapu iti saanda a panamati, ngem sititibkerkayo a nakatakder gapu iti pammatiyo. Saanyo a panunoten a nangato unay ta bagiyo, ngem agbutengkayo.
By unbelief they were broken off, and you have stood by faith; do not be high-minded, but be fearing;
21 Ta no saan a kinailalaan ti Dios dagiti kadawyan a sanga, saannakayo met a kailalaan.
for if God did not spare the natural branches—lest perhaps He also will not spare you.
22 Kitaenyo ngarud dagiti naimbag a tignay ken ti kinaulpit ti Dios. Iti sabali a bangir, immay ti kinaulpit kadagiti Judio a natinnag. Ngem iti sabali a bangir, umay ti kinaimbag ti Dios kadakayo, no agtultuloykayo iti kinaimbagna. No saan, maputedkayonto met.
Behold, then, goodness and severity of God—on those indeed who fell, severity; and on you, goodness, if you may remain in the goodness, otherwise, you also will be cut off.
23 Ken kasta met, no saanda nga agtultuloy iti saanda a panamati, maisilpodanto manen. Ta kabaelan ti Dios nga isilpo manen ida.
And those also, if they may not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again;
24 Ta no naputedkayo manipud iti naggapuanyo a puon a balang nga olibo, ket naisupadi iti kadawyan, naisilpokayo iti napintas a puon ti olibo, saan kadi nga ad-adda pay kadagitoy a Judio, nga isuda dagiti pudno a sangsanga, a maisilpoda manen iti bukodda a puon ti olibo?
for if you, out of the olive tree, wild by nature, were cut out, and contrary to nature, were grafted into a good olive tree, how much rather will they, who [are] according to nature, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 Ta saanko kayat a saanyo a maammoan, kakabsat, iti daytoy a palimed, tapno saankayo nga agbalin a nasirib iti bukodyo a panagpanpanunot. Daytoy a palimed ket adda napasamak a sangkapaset a pannakapatangken iti Israel, agingga a dumteng ti pannakaan-anay dagiti Hentil.
For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, of this secret—that you may not be wise in your own conceits—that hardness in part to Israel has happened until the fullness of the nations may come in;
26 Maisalakanto ngarud amin nga Israel, kas iti naisurat: “Umayto manipud ti Sion ti Mangisalakan. Ikkatennanto iti kinadakes manipud kenni Jacob.
and so all Israel will be saved, according as it has been written: “There will come forth out of Zion He who is delivering, and He will turn away impiety from Jacob,
27 Ket daytoyto ti tulagko kadakuada, inton ikkatek dagiti basbasolda.”
and this to them [is] the covenant from Me when I may take away their sins.”
28 Iti sabali a bangir, maipapan iti ebanghelio, nagurada gapu kadakayo. Iti sabali met a bangir, segun iti panangpili ti Dios, naay-ayatda gapu kadagiti kapuonan.
As regards, indeed, the good tidings, [they are] enemies on your account; and as regards the [divine] selection—beloved on account of the fathers;
29 Ta saan a mabaliwan dagiti sagut ken ayab ti Dios.
for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable;
30 Ta sigud a nasukirkayo iti Dios, ngem ita naawatyo ti asi gapu iti saanda a panagtulnog.
for as you also once did not believe in God, and now found kindness by the unbelief of these,
31 Kasta met nga ita, nagbalin a nasukir dagitoy a Judio. Ti nagbanaganna dayta ket babaen ti asi a naipakita kadakayo ket umawatda met ita iti asi.
so also these now did not believe, that in your kindness they also may find kindness;
32 Ta pinagtalinaed ida ti Dios iti kinasukir tapno maipakitana ti asina iti amin. (eleēsē g1653)
for God shut up together the whole to unbelief, that to the whole He might do kindness. (eleēsē g1653)
33 Anian ti kinaadalem dagiti kinabaknang ti kinasirib ken kinalaing ti Dios! Anian a saan a mabirukan dagiti panangukomna, ken saan a matakwatan dagiti wagasna!
O depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and untraceable His ways!
34 “Ta siasino ti nakaammo iti panunot ti Dios? Wenno siasino ti nagbalin a manangbalakadna?
For who knew the mind of the LORD? Or who became His counselor?
35 Wenno siasino ti immuna a nangted iti uray ania a banag iti Dios, tapno masubadan daytoy kenkuana?”
Or who first gave to Him, and it will be given back to him again?
36 Ta manipud kenkuana, ken babaen kenkuana, ken kenkuana, ti amin a banbanag. Kenkuana ti dayaw iti agnanayon. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Because of Him, and through Him, and to Him [are] all things; to Him [is] the glory—for all ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
