< Dagiti Salmo 9 >

1 Ayamanak kenni Yahweh iti amin a pusok; ibagak dagiti amin a nakakaskasdaaw nga aramidmo.
For the music director. According to Muth-labben. A psalm of David. I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the amazing things you have done.
2 Agragsak ken agrag-oak kenka; agkantaak iti panagdayaw iti naganmo, O Kangangatoan!
I will be glad and celebrate in you; I will sing praises to your wonderful nature, Most High God.
3 No agsanud dagiti kabusorko, mapasag ken matayda iti sangoanam.
Those who hate me retreat; they fall back and die when you confront them.
4 Ta inkanawam ti umno a kalintegak; agtugtugawka iti tronom, nalinteg nga ukom!
For you have judged that I am right; you have decided fairly from your throne of judgment.
5 Binutbutengmo dagiti nasion iti pukkawmo a pakigubat; dinadaelmo dagiti nadangkes; pinunasmo dagiti pakalaglagipanda iti agnanayon.
You have condemned the nations; you have destroyed the wicked; you have wiped out their names forever and ever.
6 Narebba ti kabusor a kasla kadagiti nadadael idi pinarmekmo dagiti siudadda. Napukaw amin a pakalaglagipanda.
The enemies are finished, ruined forever; their cities are destroyed—even the memory of them is gone.
7 Ngem agtalinaed ni Yahweh iti agnanayon; isagsaganana ti tronona a mangukom.
But the Lord rules forever, his throne is set up for judgment.
8 Uk-ukomenna ti lubong nga awan panangidumdumana. Nalinteg dagiti pangngeddengna para kadagiti nasion.
The Lord judges the world rightly; he judges the nations fairly.
9 Ni Yahweh pay ti natalgedto a sarikedked dagiti maidaddadanes, natalged a sarikedked kadagiti tiempo ti riribuk.
The Lord is a place of safety for those who are oppressed, a fortress in times of trouble.
10 Agtaltalek kenka dagiti makaammo iti naganmo, ta sika O Yahweh, saanmo a baybay-an dagiti mangsapsapul kenka.
Those who know your nature trust in you, for you don't abandon those who come to you.
11 Agkantakayo kadagiti pagdayaw kenni Yahweh, nga agturturay idiay Sion; ibagayo dagiti naaramidanna kadagiti nasion.
Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Zion! Tell the nations what he has done!
12 Ta ti Dios a mangibalbales iti panagsayasay ti dara ket mananglaglagip; saanna a malipatan ti sangit dagiti maidaddadanes.
He does not forget to punish murderers; he does not ignore the cries of the suffering.
13 Kaasiannak, O Yahweh; kitaem no kasano nga idaddadanesdak dagiti gumurgura kaniak, sika a makaisalakan kaniak manipud iti pannakatay.
Be gracious to me, Lord! Look at how my enemies are persecuting me! Grab me back from the gates of death,
14 O, tapno maipakaammok amin a pakaidaydayawam. Kadagiti ruangan iti anak a babai ti Sion, agrag-oak iti panangisalakanmo!
so I can praise you at Zion's gates, happy that you have saved me.
15 Natnag dagiti nasion iti palab-og nga inaramidda; nasiloan dagiti sakada iti iket nga impakatda.
The nations have fallen into their own pit they dug; their feet are trapped by their own net they set.
16 Inyam-ammo ni Yahweh ti kinasiasinona; impatungpalna ti pannakaukom; nasiloan ti nadangkes babaen kadagiti bukodna nga aramid. (Selah)
The Lord is known for his fairness; the wicked are trapped by their own actions. (Higgaion, Selah)
17 Timmallikud dagiti nadangkes ket naipanda idiay sheol, ti pagtungpalan dagiti amin a nasion a mangliplipat iti Dios. (Sheol h7585)
The wicked depart, going to the grave—all nations who turn their backs on God. (Sheol h7585)
18 Ta saan a kanayon a malipatan dagiti agkasapulan, wenno saan a kanayon a madadael dagiti namnama dagiti maidaddadanes.
But the needy will not be ignored forever, the hope of those who suffer will not always be dashed.
19 Bumangonka, O Yahweh; saanmo nga ipalubos a parmekennakami ti tao; maukom koma dagiti nasion iti imatangmo.
Stand up, Lord! Don't let human beings win! Let the nations be brought before you for judgment!
20 Butbutngem ida, O Yahweh; maammoan koma dagiti nasion a tattaoda laeng. (Selah)
Lord, terrify them! Let them know they are only human! (Selah)
