Dagiti Salmo 8

1 O Yahweh nga Apomi, anian a nagtan-ok ti naganmo iti entero a daga, imparangarangmo ti dayagmo kadagiti langit.

For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of David. O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory upon the heavens.

2 Manipud iti ngiwat dagiti ubbing ken maladaga pinataudmo ti pammadayaw gapu kadagiti kabusormo, tapno iti kasta paulimekem ti kabusor ken ti mangibalbales.

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established strength, because of thine adversaries, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.

3 No tumangadak kadagiti langlangitmo, nga inaramid dagiti ramaymo, ti bulan ken dagiti bituen, nga insimpam,

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

4 iti ania a kinapateg ti sankato-an ta panpanunotem ida, wenno tattao ta ipangpangagmo ida?

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

5 Nupay kasta, pinagbalinmo ida a nababbaba laeng bassit ngem kadagiti pinarsua idiay langit ket binalangatam ida iti dayag ken dayaw.

For thou hast made him but little lower than God, and crownest him with glory and honour.

6 Pagturturayem isuna kadagiti aramid dagiti imam; inkabilmo amin a banbanag iti sakaananna:

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

7 amin a karnero ken baka, ken uray dagiti ayup iti away,

All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

8 dagiti billit kadagiti tangatang, ken dagiti lames iti baybay, amin nga aglanglanguy kadagiti baybay.

The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
