< Dagiti Salmo 73 >
1 Pudno unay a naimbag ti Dios iti Israel, kadagiti addaan iti nasin-aw a puso.
A Melody of Asaph. Nothing but good, is God, Unto Israel, Unto the pure in heart.
2 Ngem no maipapan kaniak, ngan-nganin naikaglis ti sakak; ngan-nganiak a naitibkol
But, as for me, —My feet had, almost stumbled, My steps had, well-nigh slipped;
3 gapu ta naapalak kadagiti napalangguad idi nakitak ti kinarang-ay dagiti nadangkes.
For I was envious of the boasters, At the prosperity of the lawless, used I to look.
4 Ta awan ti sinagabada nga ut-ot agingga iti ipapatayda, ngem napigsa ken napakanda iti usto.
For they have no pangs in their death, And vigorous is their body;
5 Nawayada kadagiti dadagsen dagiti dadduma a tao; saanda a naburburiboran a kas kadagiti dadduma a tattao.
Of the toil of weak mortals, have they none, Nor, with the sons of earth, are they hard smitten.
6 Ar-arkusan ida ti kinapalangguad a kas iti kuintas nga adda iti tengngedda; kawkawesan ida ti kinaranggas a kas kagay.
For this cause, doth arrogance deck them as a neck-chain, And a garment of wrong is their attire;
7 Manipud iti kasta a kinabulsek, rummuar ti basol; sumalpot ti dakes a kapanunotan kadagiti pusoda.
Their iniquity, hath proceeded from fatness, They have surpassed the imaginations of the heart;
8 Pagang-angawanda ti mangibagbaga iti agkakadakes a banbanag; sipapalangguad nga agpangpangtada iti kinaranggas.
They mock, and wickedly command oppression, From on high, they command;
9 Agsasaoda iti maibusor kadagiti langit, ken agdakdakiwas dagiti dilada iti entero a daga.
They have set, in the heavens, their mouth, And, their tongue, marcheth through the earth.
10 Mapan ngarud kadakuada dagiti tattao ti Dios ket dumngegda kadagiti sasaoda.
Therefore must his people return thither, And, the waters of abundance, are drained by them;
11 Kunada, “Kasano koma nga ammo ti Dios? Ammo kadi ti Dios ti mapaspasamak?”
And they say—How doth GOD know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?
12 Kitaem: nadangkes dagitoy a tattao; kanayon nga awan pakaburburiburanda, ken pabaknangda a pabaknang.
Lo! these, are the lawless, Who are secure for an age, They have attained unto wealth.
13 Pudno a sinalsalluadak ti pusok iti awan kaes-eskanna ken binugbugoak dagiti imak iti kinaawan-ammo.
Altogether in vain, Have I cleansed my heart, And bathed in pureness, my hands;
14 Ta iti agmalem, nagsagsagabaak ken iti binigat, mapalpalintegak.
And yet been smitten all the day, And been rebuked morning by morning!
15 No naibagak nga, “Ibagak dagitoy a banbanag,” ket mabalin a ginulibak daytoy a henerasion dagiti annakmo.
If I had thought, I will relate it thus, Lo! the circle of thy sons, had I betrayed.
16 Nupay pinadaskon nga awaten dagitoy a banbanag, nagbalin a narigat unay daytoy para kaniak.
When I reasoned, that I might understand this, A vexation, it was in mine eyes:
17 Ket simrekak ngarud iti santuario ti Dios, sakonto naawatan ti nagbanaganda.
Until I could enter the holy places of God, —Could give heed to their hereafter: —
18 Sigurado nga ikabilmo ida kadagiti nagalis a disso; ipanmo ida iti pannakadadael.
Surely, in slippery places, dost thou set them, —Thou hast suffered them to fall into places of danger.
19 Anian ti panagbalinda a let-ang iti apagdarikmat! Dumtengda iti kanibusanan ken naggibusda iti kasta unay a buteng.
How have they become desolate, as in a moment! They have ceased—come to an end, by reason of calamities.
20 Kasda la tagtagainep kalpasan nga agriing ti maysa a tao; O Apo, inton bumangonka, awanto koma ti malagipmo kadagidiay a tagtagainep.
As the dream of him that waketh, O my Lord! when rousing thyself up, their shadowy being, wilt thou despise.
21 Ta nagladingit ti pusok, ken nasugatanak iti kasta unay.
But my heart had grown embittered, And, in my reins, had I received wounds;
22 Awan am-ammok ken kurangak iti pannakaammo; kaslaak ayup nga awan ti riknana iti sangoanam.
But, I, was brutish, and could not perceive, Like the beasts, had I become before thee.
23 Nupay kasta, kankanayon a kaduaka; iggemmo ti makannawan nga imak.
Nevertheless, I, am continually before thee, Thou hast taken hold of my right hand;
24 Tarabayennak babaen kadagiti balakadmo ket kalpasanna, awatennak iti gloriam.
By thy counsel, wilt thou guide me, And, afterwards, unto glory, wilt thou take me.
25 Adda aya masarakak sadi langit a kas kenka? Awan siasinoman ditoy daga a tarigagayko no di ket sika.
Whom have I in the heavens? And, compared with thee, there is nothing I desire on earth.
26 Kumapsot ti lasag ken pusok, ngem ti Dios ti pigsa ti pusok iti agnanayon.
Failed have my flesh and my heart, The rock of my heart—and my portion, is God unto times age-abiding.
27 Mapukawto dagidiay adayo kenka; dadaelemto amin dagiti saan a napudno kenka.
For lo! they who are far from thee, shall perish, Thou hast put an end to every one who wandered unchastely from thee.
28 Ngem no maipapan kaniak, ti laeng masapul nga aramidek ket ti umasideg iti Dios. Pinagbalinko a kamangko ni Yahweh nga Apo. Iwaragawagko dagiti amin nga aramidmo.
But, as for me, the drawing near of God, is my blessedness, —I have made, of My Lord Yahweh, my refuge, —That I may recount all thy works.
