< Dagiti Salmo 60 >
1 O Dios, impalladawnakami; binuraknakami; nakaungetka; isublinakami manen.
[For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lily of the Covenant." A teaching poem by David, when he fought with Aram Naharaim and with Aram Zobah, and Joab returned, and killed twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt.] God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
2 Pinagkintayegmo ti daga; pinagbirrim daytoy; agasam dagiti ringngatna, ta aggingined daytoy.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
3 Impakitam kadagiti tattaom dagiti nakaro a banbanag; impainummo kadakami ti arak a mangpadiwerdiwer.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
4 Nangtedka iti bandera kadagidiay a mangdaydayaw kenka tapno maiparang daytoy gapu iti kinapudno. (Selah)
You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah)
5 Tapno maispal dagidiay nga ay-ayatem, ispalennakami babaen iti makannawan nga imam ken sungbatannak.
So that your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand and answer me.
6 Nagsao ti Dios iti kinasantona, “Agrao-akto; Bingayekto ti Sikem ken ibunongkonto ti tanap ti Succot.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the Valley of Succoth.
7 Kukuak ti Galaad ken kukuak ti Manases; helmetko met ti Efraim; ken setrok ti Juda.
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Judah is my scepter.
8 Ti Moab ti palanggana a pagbuggoak; ipurruakkonto ti sandaliasko iti Edom; ipukkawkonto ti balligi gapu iti Filisteo.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia."
9 Siasinonto ti mangipan kaniak iti natibker a siudad? Siasino ti mangidalan kaniak idiay Edom?”
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Ngem sika, O Dios, saannakami kadi a linaksid? Saanka a kumuykuyog iti dangadang ti armadami.
Haven't you, God, rejected us? You do not go out with our armies, God.
11 Tulongannakami kadagiti kabusormi, ta awan serserbi ti tulong ti tao.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
12 Agballigikami babaen iti tulong ti Dios; ibaddeknanto dagiti kabusormi.
Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
