< Dagiti Salmo 58 >
1 Dakayo nga agtuturay, nalinteg met la iti panagsasaoyo? Dakayo a tattao, nalinteg met la ti panangukomyo?
To the Chief Musician. "Do not Destroy." A precious Psalm, of David. Are ye, indeed, silent [when] righteousness, ye should speak? When, with equity, ye should judge, O ye sons of men?
2 Saan, agar-aramidkayo iti kinadangkes iti pusoyo; agar-aramidkayo ti kinaranggas iti entero a daga babaen kadagiti im-imayo.
Aye! ye all do work, perversity, —Throughout the land, your hands, weigh out, violence!
3 Naisinan dagiti nadangkes manipud pay iti aanakan; maiyaw-awandan apaman a maipasngayda, agsasaodan kadagiti inu-ulbod.
Lawless men have been estranged from birth, They have gone astray from their nativity, speaking falsehood;
4 Ti gitada ket kasla gita ti uleg; kasla da la tuleng a kobra a napullatan dagiti lapayagda,
Their poison, is like unto the poison of a serpent, Like the deaf adder, that stoppeth his ear;
5 a saan a mangipangpangag iti timek dagiti mangkaykayaw, uray no kasano ti kinalaingda.
That will not hearken to the voice of whisperers, Though the wise one try to bind him with spells.
6 Pusiem dagiti ngipen kadagiti ngiwatda; O Dios; pusiem dagiti saong dagiti urbon a leon, O Yahweh.
O God! break away their teeth in their mouth, The biters of the young lions, knock thou out, O Yahweh!
7 Mapukawda koma a kas iti danum nga ages-es; inton ibiatda dagiti panada, agbalinda koma a kasla awan tiradna.
Let such men flow away like waters that disperse themselves: He prepareth his arrow, Like [grass] let them be cut down:
8 Agbalinda koma a kasla bisukol a marunaw ken agpukaw, kas iti natay a maladaga a naipasngay iti saanna pay a tiempo ket saanna man la a nakita ti lawag ti init.
Like a snail, which melteth away as it goeth, An untimely birth of a woman, which hath not seen the sun:
9 Sakbay a marikna dagiti bangam ti pudot ti mapupuoran a sisiit, iyadayonanto dagitoy babaen iti alipugpog, dagiti nalangto kasta met dagiti mapupuoran a sisiit.
Before your kettles can perceive the [kindled] bramble, Be he green or be he withered, he shall be swept away.
10 Agrag-onto dagiti nalinteg inton makitana ti panagibales ti Dios; bugoannanto dagiti sakana iti dara dagiti nadangkes,
The righteous man will rejoice when he hath seen an avenging, His feet, will he bathe in the blood of the lawless one: —
11 tapno ibaganto dagiti lallaki, “Pudno, nga adda gunggona ti nalinteg a tao; pudno nga adda ti Dios a mangukom iti lubong.”
So that a son of earth may say—Surely there is fruit for the righteous man! Surely there are gods who judge in the earth!
