< Dagiti Salmo 53 >

1 Kuna ti maysa a maag iti pusona, “Awan Dios.” Rinukerda ken dakes unay dagiti aramidda; awan ti uray maysa nga agar-aramid iti naimbag.
To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
2 Tannawagan ti Dios manipud langit dagiti annak ti tattao ta kitaenna no adda masirib a mangbirok kenkuana.
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Timallikudda amin; nagbalinda amin a narugit; awan ti uray maysa nga agar-aramid iti naimbag, awan, uray maysa.
Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Awan kadi ti ammoda, dagidiay nga agar-aramid iti kinadakes, dagidiay a mangalun-on kadagiti tattaok a kas pannanganda iti tinapay ngem saanda nga umawag iti Dios?
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
5 Mabutengda unay, uray awan ti gapu nga agbutengda; ta iwarawaranto ti Dios dagiti tulang ti sianoman a dumarupto a maibusor kenka; maibabainto dagiti kasta a tattao gapu ta linaksid ida ti Dios.
There they were in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
6 Aggapu koma iti Sion ti pannakaisalakan ti Israel! Ket agrag-onto ni Jacob ken agragsakto ti Israel, inton isubli ti Dios dagiti tattaona manipud pannakaibaludda!
O that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
