< Dagiti Salmo 48 >

1 Naindaklan ni Yahweh ket maikari unay a mapadayawan, idiay siudad ti Diostayo iti nasantoan a bantayna.
“A song and psalm by the sons of Korach.” Great is the Lord, and highly praised in the city of our God, [in] his holy mountain.
2 Napintas ti kinangatona, ti ragsak ti entero a daga, ket ti bantay Sion, ti akin-amianan a paset, ti siudad ti naindaklan nga Ari.
A beautiful district, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, the farthest north, the city of the great King.
3 Impakaammo ti Dios ti bagina kadagiti palasiona kas maysa a pagkamangan.
God is become known in her palaces as a defence.
4 Ta kitaenyo, dagiti ari ket inummongda dagiti bagbagida; naggigiddanda a limmabas.
For, lo, the kings were assembled, they are passed away together.
5 Nakitada daytoy, ket nasdaawda; naupayda, ket nagdardarasda a pimmanaw.
They indeed saw—[and] so they were astonished; they were terrified, they were confounded.
6 Panagbuteng ti nanglapped kadakuada sadiay, sakit a kas iti marikna iti agpaspasikal a babai.
Trembling seized on them there, pain, as on a woman in travail.
7 Babaen iti angin a naggapu ti daya, dinadaelmo dagiti bangka a naaramid manipud Tarsis.
With the east wind thou breakest the ships of Tharshish.
8 Kas nangngeganmi, isu ti nakitami iti siudad ni Yahweh a mannakabalin amin, iti siudad ti Diostayo; salimetmetanna daytoy iti agnanyon. (Selah)
As we have heard, so have we seen [it] in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. (Selah)
9 Pinanunotmi ti kinapudnom iti tulagmo, O Dios, iti tengnga ti templom.
We have reflected on thy kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
10 Kas iti naganmo, O Dios, kastanto met ti pannakaidayawmo agingga kadagiti nagpatinggaan ti daga; ti makannawan nga imam ket napnoan kinalinteg.
As thy name is, O God, so is thy praise over the ends of the earth: of righteousness is thy right hand full.
11 Agragsak koma ti Bantay Sion, ken agrag-o koma dagiti annak a babbai ti Juda gapu kadagiti nalinteg a pangngeddengmo.
Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments.
12 Likawenyo ti Bantay Sion, likmutenyo isuna; bilangenyo dagiti torrena;
Compass Zion about, and walk round about her; number her towers.
13 kitaenyo a naimbag dagiti bakudna, ken kitaenyo dagiti palasiona tapno maibagayonto daytoy iti sumaruno a kaputotan.
Direct your mind to her outer wall, mark carefully her palaces: in order that ye may tell it to the latest generation.
14 Ta daytoy a Dios ket isu ti Diostayo iti agnanayon ken awan patinggana; isuna ti mangidalanto kadatayo agingga iti patay.
For this One is God, our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.
