< Dagiti Salmo 4 >
1 Sungbatannak no umawagak, O Dios ti kinalintegko; ispalennak no agpeggadak. Kaasiannak ken denggem ti kararagko.
[For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David.] Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. You set me free in my distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.
2 Dakayo a tattao, aginggana kaano a pagbalbalinenyo a pakaibabainan ti dayawko? Aginggana kaano ti panagayatyo iti awan serserbina ken panangsapulyo kadagiti kinaulbod? (Selah)
You sons of man, how long will you shame my honor, love what is worthless, chase after a lie? (Selah)
3 Ngem ammoenyo nga ilaslasin ni Yahweh dagiti nadiosan para kenkuana. Denggennakto ni Yahweh no umawagak kenkuana.
But know that YHWH works wonders for his godly one; YHWH will hear when I call to him.
4 Agpigergerkayo iti buteng, ngem saankayo nga agbasol! Utobenyo iti pusoyo iti pagiddaanyo ket agulimekkayo. (Selah)
Be angry, but do not sin. Ponder in your heart, but be at rest on your bed. (Selah)
5 Idatonyo dagiti daton iti kinalinteg ken agtalekkayo kenni Yahweh.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in YHWH.
6 Adu ti agkuna, “Siasino ti mangipakita kadakami iti aniaman a nasayaat?” O Yahweh, paraniagem ti lawag ti rupam kadakami.
Many say, "Who will show us any good?" YHWH, lift up the light of your face upon us.
7 Inikkam ti pusok iti ad-adda a kinaragsak ngem iti adda kadagiti dadduma idi immadu ti trigo ken baro nga arakda.
You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and wine and oil abound.
8 Gapu iti kinatalna nga agidda ken maturogak, ta sika laeng, O Yahweh, pagbalbalinennak a naan-anay a natalged.
In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, YHWH alone, make me live in safety.
