< Dagiti Salmo 3 >

1 O Yahweh, anian a nagadu dagiti kabusorko! Adu ti timmallikud ken nangraut kaniak.
A psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom. How many, Lord, are my foes! Those who rise up against me are many.
2 Adu dagiti mangibagbaga maipanggep kaniak, “Awan ti tulong a maipaay kenkuana manipud iti Dios.” (Selah)
Many are those who say of me, “There is no help for him in his God.” (Selah)
3 Ngem sika, O Yahweh, ket kalasag iti aglawlawko, dayagko, ken mangparparegta kaniak.
But you, Lord, are shield about me, my glory, who lifts up my head.
4 Umawagak kenni Yahweh, ket sungbatannak manipud iti nasantoan a turodna. (Selah)
When loudly I call to the Lord, from his holy hill he gives answer. (Selah)
5 Nagiddaak ket nakaturogak; nagriingak, ta silanaknibannak ni Yahweh.
I laid down and slept: now I wake, for the Lord sustains me.
6 Saanak nga agbuteng kadagiti rineprep a tattao iti aglawlawko a bumusor kaniak.
I fear not the myriads of people who beset me on every side.
7 Bumangonka, O Yahweh! Isalakannak, Diosko! Ta kabilem dagiti amin a kabusorko kadagiti pangada; pusiem dagiti ngipen dagiti nadangkes.
Arise, Lord: save me, my God, who strikes all my foes on the cheek, and shatters the teeth of the wicked.
8 Aggapu kenni Yahweh ti pannakaisalakan. Adda koma kadagiti tattaom ti bendisionmo. (Selah)
Victory belongs to the Lord: let your blessing descend on your people. (Selah)
