Dagiti Salmo 17
1 Denggem ti pakaasik para iti hustisia, O Yahweh; ipangagmo ti iyaawagko iti tulong! Dengngem ti kararagko babaen kadagiti bibig nga awan panangallilaw.
The prayer of David. Hear, O Lord, my justice: attend to my supplication. Give ear unto my prayer, which proceedeth not from deceitful lips.
2 Aggapu koma iti presensiam ti pannakaukomko; makita koma dagiti matam ti nalinteg!
Let my judgment come forth from thy countenance: let thy eyes behold the things that are equitable.
3 No subokem ti pusok, no umayka kaniak iti rabii, dalusannak ket awanto ti aniaman a masarakam a dakes a pangpanggep; saanto nga agbasol ti ngiwatko.
Thou hast proved my heart, and visited it by night, thou hast tried me by fire: and iniquity hath not been found in me.
4 No maipapan kadagiti ar-aramid ti sangkatao-an, babaen kadagiti balikas iti bibigmo nga inyadayok ti bagik manipud kadagiti wagas dagiti awanan linteg.
That my mouth may not speak the works of men: for the sake of the words of thy lips, I have kept hard ways.
5 Sititibker a nagtalinaed dagiti addangko kadagiti dalanmo; saan a naikaglis dagiti sakak.
Perfect thou my goings in thy paths: that my footsteps be not moved.
6 Umawagak kenka, ta sungbatannak, O Dios; Isangom ti lapayagmo kaniak ket dumngegka no agsaoak.
I have cried to thee, for thou, O God, hast heard me: O incline thy ear unto me, and hear my words.
7 Ipakitam ti kinapudno iti tulagmo iti nakaskasdaaw a wagas, sika a mangisalsalakan babaen iti makannawan nga imam kadagiti agkamang kenka manipud kadagiti kabusorda!
Shew forth thy wonderful mercies; thou who savest them that trust in thee.
8 Salaknibannak a kas napateg iti imatangmo; ilemmengnak iti anniniwan dagiti payyakmo,
From them that resist thy right hand keep me, as the apple of thy eye. Protect me under the shadow of thy wings.
9 manipud iti presensia dagiti nadangkes a tattao a mangdarup kaniak, dagiti kabusorko a manglawlawlaw kaniak,
From the face of the wicked who have afflicted me. My enemies have surrounded my soul:
10 Awan asida iti siasinoman; napalangguad nga agsasao dagiti ngiwatda.
They have shut up their fat: their mouth hath spoken proudly.
11 Pinalawlawanda dagiti addangko. Inkitada dagiti matada a mangitumba kaniak iti daga.
They have cast me forth and now they have surrounded me: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth.
12 Kaslada maysa a leon a magagaran iti biktimaenna, kasla urbon a leon a nakakukot kadagiti nalemmeng a lugar.
They have taken me, as a lion prepared for the prey; and as a young lion dwelling in secret places.
13 Bumangonka, O Yahweh! Rautem ida! Imamegmo ida! Ispalem ti biagko manipud kadagiti nadangkes babaen iti kampilanmo!
Arise, O Lord, disappoint him and supplant him; deliver my soul from the wicked one: thy sword
14 Ispalennak manipud kadagiti tattao babaen iti imam, O Yahweh, manipud kadagiti tattao iti daytoy a lubong a ti kinarang-ayda ket iti daytoy laeng a biag! Bussogemto iti kinabaknang dagiti tian dagiti tattao nga ipatpategmo; maaddaandanto iti adu nga annak ket ibatidanto dagiti kinabaknangda kadagiti annakda.
From the enemies of thy hand. O Lord, divide them from the few of the earth in their life: their belly is filled from thy hidden stores. They are full of children: and they have left to their little ones the rest of their substance.
15 No maipapan kaniak, makitakto ti rupam iti kinalinteg; mapnekakto, inton makariingak, iti imatangmo.
But as for me, I will appear before thy sight in justice: I shall be satisfied when thy glory shall appear.
