< Dagiti Salmo 16 >
1 Salaknibannak, O Dios, ta agkamkamangak kenka.
[A Poem by David.] Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.
2 Kunak kenni Yahweh, “Sika ti Apok; awan serserbina ti kinaimbagko no maisinaak kenka.
I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord. Apart from you I have no good thing."
3 No maipapan kadagiti nasantoan a tattao nga adda iti rabaw ti daga, natakneng a tattao, adda kadakuada ti amin a pakaragsakak.
As for the holy ones who are in the land, they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.
4 Umadunto dagiti pakariribukanda, dagiti agbirbiruk kadagiti sabali a dios. Saanakto a mangibukbok kadagiti mainom a daton a dara kadagiti diosda wenno itag-ay dagiti naganda babaen kadagiti bibigko.
Their sorrows will multiply who pay a dowry for another. Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, nor take their names on my lips.
5 O Yahweh, sika ti pinilik a pasetko ken ti kopak. Iggemmo ti masakbayak.
The LORD is the portion of my inheritance and my cup. You made my lot secure.
6 Naisagana para kaniak dagiti uged a pagrukod kadagiti makaay-ayo a lugar; awan duadua a kukuak ti makaay-ayo a tawid.
The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, beautiful is my inheritance.
7 Idaydayawko ni Yahweh, a mangbalbalakad kaniak; isursuronak ti panunotko uray iti rabii.
I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.
8 Isaadko ni Yahweh iti sangoanak iti amin a tiempo, tapno saanak a magunggon manipud iti makannawan nga imana!
I have put the LORD before me at all times. Because he is at my right hand I will never be upended.
9 Ngarud, maragsakan ti pusok; itantan-ok isuna iti napadayawan a pusok; awan duadua nga agbiagak a sitatalged.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety.
10 Ta saanmo a baybay-an ti kararuak idiay sheol. Saanmo nga ipalubos a makita ti napudno kenka ti abut. (Sheol )
For you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. (Sheol )
11 Isursurom kaniak ti dalan ti biag; aglaplapusanan a rag-o ti agnanaed iti presensiam; iti agnanayon, adda ragsak iti makannawan nga imam.
You make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
