< Dagiti Salmo 12 >
1 Tumulongka, O Yahweh, ta nagpukaw dagiti nadiosan; awanen dagiti napudno.
To the Chief Musician. On the Octave. A Melody of David. O save Yahweh, for the man of lovingkindness, is no more, for the faithful, have vanished, from among the sons of men.
2 Agibagbaga ti tunggal maysa iti parbo a sasao iti kaarrubana; agsasao ti tunggal maysa nga addaan iti managpasablog a dila ken manangallilaw a puso.
Deception, speak they, every one with his neighbour, —with lips uttering smooth things—with a heart and a heart, do they speak.
3 O Yahweh, putdem dagiti amin a managpasablog a bibig, tunggal dila a mangipabpablaak iti nalabes a banbanag.
May Yahweh cut off All the lips that utter smooth things, —the tongue that speaketh swelling words;
4 Dagitoy dagiti nagkuna, “Agballigikami babaen kadagiti dilami. No agsaokami, siasino ti makabael a mangituray kadakami?”
Them who say—With our tongue, will we prevail, our lips, are our own, who is our master?
5 Gapu iti kinaranggas a maibusor kadagiti napanglaw, gapu iti as-asug dagiti agkasapulan, bumangonakto,” kuna ni Yahweh. “Ipaaykonto ti kinatalged a kalkalikagumanda.”
Because of violence done to the poor, because of the crying of the needy, Now, will I arise! O may Yahweh say, —I will place [him] in safety—let him puff at him!
6 Nasin-aw dagiti sasao ni Yahweh, kasla pirak a napadalus iti naminpito iti maysa nga orno iti rabaw ti daga.
The words of Yahweh, are words, that are pure, silver refined in a crucible of earth, purified seven times!
7 Sika ni Yahweh! Salsalaknibam ida. Ay-aywanam dagiti nadiosan a tattao manipud iti daytoy nadangkes a kaputotan ken iti agnanayon.
Thou, O Yahweh, wilt keep them, —Thou wilt guard him, from this generation unto times age-abiding.
8 Magna dagiti nadangkes iti tunggal suli no maitan-ok ti kinadakes kadagiti annak dagiti tattao.
On every side, the lawless, march about, —when worthlessness is exalted by the sons of men.
