Dagiti Proverbio 5
1 Anakko, ipangagmo ti siribko, denggem a nasayaat no ania ti pannakaawatko,
My sonne, hearken vnto my wisedome, and incline thine eare vnto my knowledge.
2 tapno masursurom ti maipanggep iti kinatimbeng, ket masalakniban dagiti bibigmo ti pannakaammo.
That thou maiest regarde counsell, and thy lippes obserue knowledge.
3 Ta agtedtedted ti diro manipud kadagiti bibig ti mannakikamalala, ken ti ngiwatna ket nalamlammuyot ngem iti lana,
For the lippes of a strange woman drop as an honie combe, and her mouth is more soft then oyle.
4 ngem iti udina ket napait isuna a kas iti ajinco, a makasugat a kas iti natadem a kampilan.
But the end of her is bitter as wormewood, and sharpe as a two edged sworde.
Her feete goe downe to death, and her steps take holde on hell. (Sheol h7585)
6 Saanna a panpanunoten ti dalan ti biag. Agalla-alla isuna; saanna nga ammo no sadino ti pappapananna.
She weigheth not the way of life: her paths are moueable: thou canst not knowe them.
7 Ket ita annakko, dumngegkayo kaniak; kanayonyo a denggen dagiti ibagak.
Heare yee me nowe therefore, O children, and depart not from the wordes of my mouth.
8 Iyadayoyo kenkuana ti dalanyo, ken saankayo nga umas-asideg iti ruangan ti balayna.
Keepe thy way farre from her, and come not neere the doore of her house,
9 Iti kasta a wagas, saanyonto nga ited ti dayawyo kadagiti dadduma wenno dagiti tawen ti biagyo iti naulpit a tao;
Least thou giue thine honor vnto others, and thy yeeres to the cruell:
10 saanto nga agrambak dagiti ganggannaet kadagiti kinabaknangyo; ti natrabahoanyo ket saanto a mapan kadagiti babbalay dagiti ganggannaet.
Least the stranger should be silled with thy strength, and thy labours bee in the house of a stranger,
11 Umasugkayonto inton kanibusananen ti biagyo, inton marunrunoten ti lasag ken bagiyo.
And thou mourne at thine end, (when thou hast consumed thy flesh and thy bodie)
12 Kunaenyonto, “Anian a pananggurak idi iti pannakadisiplina ken pananglalais ti pusok iti panangilinteg!
And say, How haue I hated instruction, and mine heart despised correction!
13 Saanko a pinagtulnogan dagiti manursurok wenno dinengngeg dagiti nangbilbilin kaniak.
And haue not obeied the voyce of them that taught mee, nor enclined mine eare to them that instructed me!
14 Dandaniakon nadadael iti kasta unay iti nagtetengngaan ti taripnong, kadagiti panaguummong dagiti tattao.”
I was almost brought into all euil in ye mids of the Congregation and assemblie.
15 Uminomka iti danum manipud iti bukodmo a pagurnongan iti danum, ken uminomka iti agay-ayus a danum manipud iti bukodmo a bubon.
Drinke the water of thy cisterne, and of the riuers out of the middes of thine owne well.
16 Rumbeng kadi a paglupiasem dagiti ubbogmo iti sadinoman, ken pagayusem dagiti waigmo kadagiti plasa?
Let thy fountaines flow foorth, and the riuers of waters in the streetes.
17 Kukuam laeng koma dagitoy, ket saan a kadagiti ganggannaet a kaduam.
But let them bee thine, euen thine onely, and not the strangers with thee.
18 Mabendisionan koma ti burayokmo, ken agragsakka koma iti asawam iti kina-agtutubom.
Let thy fountaine be blessed, and reioyce with the wife of thy youth.
19 Ta maiyarig isuna iti nakaay-ayat a kabaian nga ugsa ken iti makaay-ayo a kabaian nga ugsa. Punoennaka koma ti barukongna iti ragsak iti amin a tiempo; a kankanayon a maguyguyugoy gapu iti ayatna.
Let her be as the louing hinde and pleasant roe: let her brests satisfie thee at all times, and delite in her loue continually.
20 Ta apay koma nga agpatiliwka anakko, iti maysa a mannakikamkamalala; apay koma nga arakupem ti barukong ti babai a saanmo met nga am-ammo?
For why shouldest thou delite, my sonne, in a strange woman, or embrace the bosome of a stranger?
21 Makitkita ni Yahweh ti amin nga ar-aramiden ti maysa a tao ken buybuyaenna ti amin a dalan a pagpagnaanna.
For the waies of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his pathes.
22 Matiliwto ti maysa a nadangkes a tao babaen kadagiti bukodna a basol; tenglento isuna iti nairut dagiti tali ti basolna.
His owne iniquities shall take the wicked himselfe, and he shall be holden with the cordes of his owne sinne.
23 Matayto isuna gapu ta kurang isuna iti disiplina; maiyaw-awan isuna gapu iti nakaro a kinamaagna.
Hee shall die for fault of instruction, and shall goe astray through his great follie.
