< Dagiti Proverbio 30 >
1 Dagiti pagsasao ni Agur nga anak a lalaki ni Jakeh- ti mensahe manipud iti Dios: Imbutaktak daytoy a lalaki kenni Ithiel, kada Ithiel ken Ucal:
THE WORDS OF AGUR THE SONNE OF JAKEH. The prophecie which ye man spake vnto Ithiel, euen to Ithiel, and Vcal.
2 Pudno nga ad-adda a kaslaak iti ayup ngem iti siasinoman a tao, ken awan ti pannakaawatko a kas iti tao.
Surely I am more foolish then any man, and haue not the vnderstanding of a man in me.
3 Saanko a naadal ti kinasirib, wenno addaanak iti pannakaamo maipapan iti Nasantoan.
For I haue not learned wisedome, nor atteined to the knowledge of holy things.
4 Siasino ti nagpangato iti langit ket bimmaba? Siasino ti nangurnong iti angin babaen kadagiti imana? Siasino ti nangurnong kadagiti danum babaen iti pagan-anayna? Siasino ti nangipatakder kadagiti amin a pungto ti daga? Ania ti naganna, ken ania ti nagan ti anakna? Sigurado nga ammoyo!
Who hath ascended vp to heauen, and descended? Who hath gathered the winde in his fist? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the endes of the world? What is his name, and what is his sonnes name, if thou canst tell?
5 Napadasen ti amin a sasao ti Dios, kalasag isuna kadagiti agkamkamang kenkuana.
Euery worde of God is pure: he is a shield to those, that trust in him.
6 Saanmo a nayonan dagiti sasaona, di la ket tubngarennaka, ket mapaneknekankanto nga ulbod.
Put nothing vnto his wordes, least he reproue thee, and thou be found a lyar.
7 Dua a banag ti dawatek kenka, saanmo ida nga ipaidam kaniak sakbay a matayak:
Two things haue I required of thee: denie me them not before I die.
8 Iyadayom kaniak ti kinaubbaw ken kinaulbod. Saanmo nga ited kaniak ti kinapanglaw wenno kinabaknang, itedmo laeng iti taraon a kasapulak.
Remooue farre from me vanitie and lyes: giue me not pouertie, nor riches: feede me with foode conuenient for me,
9 Ta no addaanak ti adu unay, ilibakkanto ken ibagak a, “Siasino ni Yahweh?” Wenno no pumanglawak, agtakawakto ket ibabainkonto ti nagan ti Diosko.
Least I be full, and denie thee, and say, Who is the Lord? or least I be poore and steale, and take the Name of my God in vaine.
10 Saanmo a dadaelen ti dayaw ti tagabu iti sangoanan ti amona, di la ket ilunodnaka ket agbiddutka.
Accuse not a seruant vnto his master, lest he curse thee, when thou hast offended.
11 Ti maysa a henerasion a mangilunod iti amada ken saanda a bendisionan ti inada,
There is a generation that curseth their father, and doeth not blesse their mother.
12 dayta ti henerasion a nadalus kadagiti bukodda a mata, ngem saanda a nadalusan manipud kadagiti rugitda.
There is a generation that are pure in their owne conceite, and yet are not washed from their filthinesse.
13 Dayta ti henerasion—anian a nagtangsit dagiti matada ken nakangato dagiti kalub ti matada! —
There is a generation, whose eies are hautie, and their eye liddes are lifted vp.
14 isuda ti henerasion a kasla kampilan dagiti ngipenda, ken kampit dagiti pangalda, tapno sikbabenda dagiti napanglaw iti daga ken dagiti agkasapulan manipud iti sangkataoan.
There is a generation, whose teeth are as swordes, and their chawes as kniues to eate vp the afflicted out of the earth, and the poore from among men.
15 Adda dua nga annak a babai ti alinta? “Ikkannak ken ikkannak,” ti sangitda. Adda tallo a banag a saan pulos a mapmapnek, uppat a saan pulos a mangibaga iti “Uston”:
The horse leache hath two daughters which crye, Giue, giue. There be three things that will not be satisfied: yea, foure that say not, It is ynough.
16 Lubong dagiti natay, ti aanakan a saan a makaipaay iti anak, ti daga a mawaw iti danum ken ti apuy a saan pulos a mangibaga iti “Uston.” (Sheol )
The graue, and the barren wombe, the earth that cannot be satisfied with water, and the fire that sayeth not, It is ynough. (Sheol )
17 Ti mata a mang-uyaw iti ama, ken ti mang-uyaw iti panagtulnog iti ina, sippetento nga iruar dagiti uwak iti tanap dagiti matana, ket kanento isuna dagiti buitre.
The eye that mocketh his father and despiseth the instruction of his mother, let ye rauens of the valley picke it out, and the yong eagles eate it.
18 Adda tallo a nakaskasdaaw unay para kaniak, uppat a saanko a maawatan:
There be three thinges hid from me: yea, foure that I knowe not,
19 ti dalan ti agila iti langit; ti dalan ti uleg iti bato; ti dalan ti bangka iti tengnga ti baybay; ken ti wagas ti lalaki iti balasang.
The way of an eagle in the aire, the way of a serpent vpon a stone, ye way of a ship in ye middes of the sea, and the way of a man with a maide.
20 Daytoy ti wagas ti makikamkammalala—mangan isuna sana punasan ti ngiwatna ken ibagana nga “Awan ti nagbasolak”
Such is ye way also of an adulterous woman: she eateth and wipeth her mouth, and sayth, I haue not committed iniquitie.
21 Kadagiti tallo a banag agkintayeg ti daga, ti maikauppat ti saanna a maibturan:
For three things the earth is moued: yea, for foure it cannot susteine it selfe:
22 ti tagabu nga agbalin nga ari; no mabsog iti taraon ti maag;
For a seruant when he reigneth, and a foole when he is filled with meate,
23 no makiassawa ti babai a mabusbusor, ken no sublaten ti babaonen ti saad ti amona a babai.
For the hatefull woman, when she is married, and for a handmaid that is heire to her mistres.
24 Uppat a banbanag iti daga ket babassit ngem nasisiribda unay:
These be foure small things in the earth, yet they are wise and full of wisedome:
25 dagiti kuton ket parsua a saan a nabileg, ngem agisagsaganada kadagiti taraonda iti kalgaw;
The pismires a people not strong, yet prepare they their meate in sommer:
26 dagiti koneho ket saan a napigsa a parsua, ngem ar-aramidenda dagiti pagtaenganda kadagiti batbato.
The conies a people not mightie, yet make their houses in the rocke:
27 Dagiti dudon ket awan ti arida, ngem nakalinyada amin nga agmartia.
The grashopper hath no King, yet goe they forth all by bandes:
28 Kadagiti alutiit, maiggamam daytoy kadagiti imam, ngem masarakan ida kadagiti palasio dagiti ari.
The spider taketh holde with her handes, and is in Kings palaces.
29 Adda tallo a nalimbong iti addangda, uppat a nalimbong iti pannagnada:
There be three thinges that order well their going: yea, foure are comely in going,
30 ti leon, ti kapigsaan kadagiti amin nga atap nga ayup- saan a tumallikud daytoy iti aniaman;
A lyon which is strong among beastes, and turneth not at the sight of any:
31 maysa a nataer a kawitan; maysa a kalding, ken maysa nga ari nga adda iti abayna dagiti soldadona.
A lusty grayhound, and a goate, and a King against whom there is no rising vp.
32 No nagbalinka a maag, a mangidaydayaw iti bagim, wenno no agpangpanggepka iti dakes- iyaputmo ti imam iti ngiwatmo.
If thou hast bene foolish in lifting thy selfe vp, and if thou hast thought wickedly, lay thine hand vpon thy mouth.
33 Kas iti panangbatil iti gatas a mangpatpataud iti mantikilya, ken kas iti panagdara ti agong ti maysa a tao no matiritir daytoy, kastoy met laeng ti mapasamak iti unget a mangpataud ti apa.
When one churneth milke, he bringeth foorth butter: and he that wringeth his nose, causeth blood to come out: so he that forceth wrath, bringeth foorth strife.
