< Dagiti Proverbio 28 >

1 Agtaray dagiti managdakdakes uray no awan ti mangkamkamat kadakuada, ngem dagiti agar-aramid iti umno ket natured a kas iti urbon a leon.
The wicked flee when no man pursues: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
2 Gapu iti basol ti daga, addaan daytoy kadagiti mangiturturay, ngem babaen iti tao nga addaan iti pannakaawat ken pannakaammo, agpautto daytoy iti atiddug a tiempo.
For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof: but by a man of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged.
3 Ti maysa a napanglaw a tao a mangidaddadanes kadagiti padana a napanglaw ket kas iti bumayakabak a tudo nga awan ibatina a taraon.
A poor man that oppresses the poor is like a sweeping rain which leaves no food.
4 Dagiti mangtallikod iti linteg ket dayawenda dagiti nadangkes a tattao, ngem guraen ida dagiti agtultulnog iti linteg.
They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
5 Saan a maawatan dagiti dakes a tattao ti hustisia, ngem maawatan dagiti mangsapsapul kenni Yahweh dagiti amin a banag.
Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
6 Nasaysayaat ti napanglaw a tao nga agbibiag iti kinatarnawna, ngem iti nabaknang a tao a dakes dagiti aramidna.
Better is the poor that walks in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
7 Ti agtungtungpal iti linteg ket maysa nga anak nga addaan iti pannakaawat, ngem ti tao a kadua dagiti narawet ket ibabainna ti amana.
Whoever keeps the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shames his father.
8 Ti agur-urnong iti kinabaknangna babaen iti nangato a panangporsiyentona iti ipapautangna ket ur-urnongenna ti kinabaknangna a maipaayto iti tao a naasi kadagiti napanglaw a tattao.
He that by usury and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
9 No adda saan a dumdumngeg iti linteg, uray pay ti kararagna ket makarimon.
He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
10 Ti siasinoman a mangiturong iti nalinteg iti dakes a wagas ket matnag iti bukodna nga abut, ngem maaddaan iti nasayaat a tawid ti awan basolna.
Whoever causes the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.
11 Ti baknang a tao ket mabalin a masirib iti bukodna a panagkita, ngem matakuatanto isuna ti napanglaw a tao nga addaan iti pannakaawat.
The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that has understanding searches him out.
12 Inton adda balligi para kadagidiay agar-aramid iti umno, addanto naindaklan a dayag, ngem inton bumangon dagiti nadangkes, aglemmeng dagiti tattao.
When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
13 Ti mangilemlemmeng kadagiti basolna ket saan a rumang-ay, ngem ti agbabawi ken tumallikod kadagitoy ket makaassianto.
He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy.
14 Naragsak ti maysa a tao a kanayon nga agbibiag nga addaan iti panagraem, ngem ti siasinoman a mangpatangken iti pusona ket mariribukanto.
Happy is the man that fears always: but he that hardens his heart shall fall into mischief.
15 Kas iti agngerngernger a leon wenno agdakdakiwas nga oso ti kaiyarigan ti nadangkes a mangiturturay kadagiti napanglaw a tattao.
As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.
16 Maysa a naranggas a mangidadanes ti kaiyarigan ti mangiturturay nga awanan iti pannakaawat, ngem ti manggurgura iti kinaulbod ket pumautto dagiti aldawna.
The prince that wants understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hates covetousness shall prolong his days.
17 No nagbiddut ti maysa a tao gapu ta adda pinagsayasayna ti darana, aglemmengto isuna agingga a matay, ket awanto ti tumulong kenkuana.
A man that does violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit; let no man stay him.
18 Natalgedto ti siasinoman nga agbiag nga addaan iti kinatarnaw, ngem dagus a matnag ti agbibiag iti nakillo a wagas.
Whoever walks uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
19 Ti tao a mangtrabtrabaho iti dagana ket maaddaanto iti adu a taraon, ngem maaddaanto iti adu a rigat ti siasinoman a mangsurot iti awan serserbina nga aramid.
He that tills his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that follows after vain persons shall have poverty enough.
20 Ti napudno a tao ket maaddaanto iti adu a bendision, ngem madusanto ti tao a bumaknang iti apagbiit.
A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
21 Saan a nasayaat a mangipakita iti panangidumduma, ngem agbasol ti tao para iti sangapidaso a tinapay.
To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.
22 Kamkamaten ti naimot a tao ti kinabaknang, ngem saanna ammo nga umayto kenkuana ti kinarigat.
He that hastens to be rich has an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come on him.
23 Ti siasinoman a mangtubngar iti maysa a tao ket makasarakto iti ad-adu a pabor manipud kenkuana ngem ti maysa a tao a mangpatpatiray-ok kenkuana babaen iti dilana.
He that rebukes a man afterwards shall find more favor than he that flatters with the tongue.
24 Siasinoman a mangtakaw iti sanikua ti ama wenno inana nga ibagana a, “Saan a basol dayta,” kadua isuna ti manangdadael.
Whoever robs his father or his mother, and says, It is no transgression; the same is the companion of a destroyer.
25 Mangparnuay iti apa ti naagum a tao, ngem rumang-ay ti agtaltalek kenni Yahweh.
He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.
26 Maag ti agtaltalek iti bukodna a bagi, ngem ti siasinoman nga agbibiag iti kinasirib ket maiyadayo manipud iti peggad.
He that trusts in his own heart is a fool: but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered.
27 Awan pagkurangan ti mangtultulong kadagiti napanglaw, ngem siasinoman a saan a mangikaskaso kadakuada ket aglak-amto iti adu a lunod.
He that gives to the poor shall not lack: but he that hides his eyes shall have many a curse.
28 No bumileg dagiti nadangkes, aglemmeng dagiti tattao, ngem no mapukaw dagiti nadangkes, umadu dagiti agar-aramid iti umno.
When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.
