Dagiti Proverbio 11
1 Kagurgura ni Yahweh ti nakaur a timbangan, ngem pakaragsakanna ti apag-isu a dagsen.
False scales are an abomination to the LORD; But a perfect weight is his delight.
2 No rumsua ti panagpannakkel, umay met ti pannakaibabain, ngem iti kinapakumbaba umay ti kinasirib.
When pride cometh, then cometh disgrace; But with the humble is wisdom.
3 Ti kinamatalek dagiti nalinteg ti mangidalan kadakuada, ngem dagiti nakillo a wagwagas dagiti mangliliput ti mangdadael mismo kadakuada.
The integrity of the upright shall guide them; But the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
4 Awan serserbina ti kinabaknang iti aldaw ti pungtot, ngem ti panagaramid iti nalinteg iyadayonaka iti patay.
Riches do not profit in the day of wrath; But righteousness delivereth from death.
5 Ti nalinteg nga aramid ti tao nga awan pakapilawanna ti mangpalinteg iti dalanna, ngem madadaelto dagiti nadangkes gapu iti bukodda a kinadangkes.
The righteousness of the good man maketh his way plain; But the wicked falleth through his wickedness.
6 Ti umno nga ugali dagiti mangay-ayo iti Dios ti mangpatalinaed kadakuada a natalged, ngem mapalab-ogan dagiti mangliliput babaen kadagiti kalikagumda.
The righteousness of the upright delivereth them; But transgressors are ensnared in their own mischief.
7 No adda matay a tao a nadangkes, agpukaw ti namnamana, ket awanto ti pagturongan ti namnama nga adda iti bilegna.
When the wicked man dieth, his hope cometh to an end; Yea, the expectation of the unjust cometh to an end.
8 Ti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket maiyadayo iti riribuk, ketdi, dumteng daytoy kadagiti nadangkes.
The righteous man is delivered from trouble, And the wicked cometh into it in his stead.
9 Babaen iti ngiwatna, dadaelen ti tao nga awanan iti dios ti kaarrubana, ngem babaen iti pannakaammo ket agtalinaed a natalged dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg.
By his mouth the vile man destroyeth his neighbor; But by the knowledge of the righteous are men delivered.
10 No rumang-ay dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg, agrag-o ti siudad; no mapukaw dagiti nadangkes, adda panagdirdir-i.
When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth; And when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
11 Babaen kadagiti nasasayaat a sagut dagiti mangay-ayo iti Dios, maidayaw ti siudad; gapu iti ngiwat dagiti nadangkes, marba ti siudad.
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted; But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
12 Awan ammo ti tao a manglais iti gayyemna, ngem naulimek ti tao nga addaan pannakaawat.
He who despiseth his neighbor is void of understanding; A man of discernment holdeth his peace.
13 Ti siasinoman a mapmapan mangperperdi ket agipalpalgak kadagiti palimed, ngem ti napudno a tao ket saluadanna ti palimed.
He who goeth about as a tale-bearer revealeth secrets; But he who is of a faithful spirit concealeth a matter.
14 No awan ti nasirib a panangidalan, madadael ti nasion, ngem umay ti panagballigi babaen iti panangiyuman kadagiti adu a mammagbaga.
Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in a multitude of counsellors there is safety.
15 Siasinoman a mangpatalged iti utang ti ganggannaet ket sigurado nga agsagabanto, ngem natalged ti tao a kagurgurana ti agkari babaen iti kasta.
He that is surety for another shall smart for it; But he that hateth suretyship is sure.
16 Ti naparabur a babai, magun-odna ti pammadayaw, ngem dagiti naulpit a tattao, petpetpetanda ti kinabaknang.
A graceful woman obtaineth honor, Even as strong men obtain riches.
17 Ti naasi a tao gunggunaanna ti bagina, ngem ti naulpit a tao saksaktanna ti bagina.
He that doeth good to himself is a man of kindness; But he that tormenteth his own flesh is cruel.
18 Agulbod ti nadangkes a tao tapno magun-odna ti gunggunana, ngem ti tao nga agmula iti umno ket apitenna ti supapak ti kinapudno.
The wicked toileth for deceitful wages; But he who soweth righteousness shall have a sure reward.
19 Ti napudno a tao nga agar-aramid iti umno ket agbiag, ngem ti tao a mangkamkamat iti kinadakes ket matay.
As righteousness tendeth to life, So he who pursueth evil pursueth it to his death.
20 Kagurgura ni Yahweh dagiti dakes ti pusoda, ngem pakaragsakanna dagiti tattao nga awan pakababalawan dagiti wagwagasda.
The perverse in heart are the abomination of the LORD; But the upright in their way are his delight.
21 Sigurado daytoy—madusanto dagiti nadangkes a tattao, ngem natalgedto dagiti kaputotan dagiti agar-aramid iti umno.
From generation to generation the wicked shall not go unpunished; But the posterity of the righteous shall be delivered.
22 Kasla aritus a balitok iti subsob ti baboy ti napintas a babai nga awanan pannakaawat.
As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, So is a beautiful woman who is without discretion.
23 Dagiti tarigagay dagiti agaramid iti umno ket agbanag a nasayaat, ngem pungtot laeng ti manamnama dagiti nadangkes a tattao.
The desire of the righteous is only good; But the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
24 Adda maysa a tao a managmula iti bukel— ad-addunto pay ti maapitna; adda met sabali saan a managmula, pumanglaw isuna.
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; And there is that withholdeth more than is right, yet he cometh to want.
25 Ti naparabur a tao ket rumang-ay, ken ti tao a manangted iti danum iti sabali ket maaddanto iti danum a para iti bagina.
The bountiful man shall be enriched, And he that watereth shall himself be watered.
26 Ilunodto dagiti tattao ti tao nga agkedked nga aglako iti bukel, ngem mabalangatan iti nasasayaat a sagsagut ti ulo ti tao nga agilaklako iti daytoy.
Him that keepeth back corn the people curse; But blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.
27 Ti tao a napasnek nga agbiruk iti kinaimbag ket makasarak pay iti parabur, ngem ti tao a mangsapsapul iti dakes ket masarakannanto ti dakes.
He, who earnestly seeketh good, seeketh favor; But he that seeketh mischief, it shall come upon him.
28 Madadael dagiti agtalek kadagiti kinabaknangda, ngem kas iti bulong ket lumangto dagiti agar-aramid iti umno.
He who trusteth in his riches shall fall; But the righteous shall flourish as a leaf.
29 Ti tao a mangmangyeg iti riribuk iti balayna ket agtawiddanto iti angin, ken ti maag ket agbalinto nga adipen ti tao a nasirib.
He that harasseth his household shall inherit wind; And the fool shall be the servant of the wise.
30 Dagiti agar-aramid iti umno ket kaslanto iti kayo ti biag, ngem ti kinaranggas ket ik-ikkatenna ti biag.
The fruit of a righteous man is a tree of life; And the wise man winneth souls.
31 No dagiti agar-aramid iti umno ket aw-awatenda ti maiparbeng kadakuada, kasta met ngarud ti nadangkes ken ti managbasol!
Behold, the righteous man is requited on the earth; Much more the wicked man and the sinner!
