Dagiti Proverbio 10
1 Dagiti proverbio ni Solomon. Paragsaken ti maysa a nasirib nga anak ti amana ngem ti maag nga anak ket mangted iti ladingit iti inana.
The Proverbs of Solomon: A wise son, maketh a glad father, but, a foolish son, is the grief of his mother.
2 Awan pateg dagiti gameng a naurnong babaen iti kinadangkes, ngem ti panagaramid iti nalinteg ket iyadayonaka iti patay.
The treasures of lawlessness, do not profit, but, righteousness, delivereth from death.
3 Saan nga ipalubos ni Yahweh a mabisinan dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg, ngem paayenna dagiti kalikagum dagiti nadangkes.
Yahweh, suffereth not to famish, the soul of the righteous, but, the desire of the lawless, he thrusteth away.
4 Ti nasadut nga ima ti mangpapanglaw iti maysa a tao, ngem ti ima ti nagaget a tao ket makagun-od kadagiti kinabaknang.
He becometh poor, who dealeth with a slack hand, but, the hand of the diligent, maketh rich.
5 Ti nasirib nga anak ket agur-urnong iti apit iti kalgaw, ngem nakababain para kenkuana ti maturog kabayatan ti panagapit.
He that gathereth in summer, is a prudent son, he that sleepeth long in harvest, is a son causing shame.
6 Dagiti sagut manipud iti Dios ket maited kadagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg, ngem ti ngiwat ti nadangkes ket kalkalubanna ti kinaranggas.
Blessings, are for the head of the righteous man, but, the mouth of the lawless, covereth up wrong.
7 Parparagsakennatayo ti tao nga agar-aramid iti nalinteg tunggal malagiptayo isuna, ngem madadael ti nagan ti nadangkes.
The memory of the righteous, yieldeth blessing, but, the name of the lawless, dieth out.
8 Awaten dagiti nanakem dagiti bilbilin, ngem madadael ti naariwawa a maag.
The wise in heart, will accept commandments, but, he that is foolish with his lips, shall be thrust away.
9 Ti agbibiag iti kinapudno ket agbibiag iti kinatalged, ngem ti tao a pagbalbalinenna a killo dagiti wagasna ket masukalanto.
He that walketh uprightly, may walk securely, but, he that maketh crooked his ways, shall be found out.
10 Mangpataud iti ladingit ti tao nga kumanidday, ngem madadael ti naariwawa a maag.
He that winketh with the eye, causeth sorrow, and, he that is foolish with his lips, shall be thrust aside.
11 Ti ngiwat ti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket burayok ti biag, ngem ti ngiwat ti nadangkes ket ilemlemmengna ti kinaranggas.
A well-spring of life, is the mouth of the righteous, but, the mouth of the lawless, covereth wrong.
12 Ti gura ket mangpataud kadagiti riri, ngem abbongan ti ayat ti amin a nagkurangan ti dadduma.
Hatred, stirreth up strifes, but, over all transgressions, love throweth a covering.
13 Ti kinasirib ket masarakan kadagiti bibig ti mannakaawat a tao, ngem ti pagbaut ket para iti tao nga awanan pannakaawat.
In the lips of the intelligent, is found wisdom, but, a rod, is for the back of him that lacketh sense.
14 Dagiti nasirib a tattao ket agiduldulin iti pannakaammo, ngem ti ngiwat ti maag ket mangiyas-asideg iti pannakadadael.
Wise men, treasure up knowledge, but, the mouth of the foolish, is a terror near at hand.
15 Ti kinabaknang ti nabaknang a tao ket isu ti maiyarig a siudadna a nasarikedkedan; ti kinapanglaw dagiti nakurapay ti mismo a pakadadaelanda.
The substance of the rich, is his strong city, the terror of the poor, is their poverty.
16 Ti tangdan dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket agturong iti biag; ti magun-od dagiti nadangkes ti mangiturong kadakuada iti pagbasolan.
The labour of the righteous, [leadeth] to life, the increase of the lawless, to sin.
17 Adda dalan nga agturong iti biag para iti mangsursurot iti panangdisiplina, ngem maiyaw-awan ti manglaksid iti panangtubngar.
On the way to life, is he that heedeth correction, but, he that hateth reproof, is going astray.
18 Ti siasinoman a mangilimed iti gurana ket addaan iti ulbod a bibig, ken ti siasinoman a mangiwarwaras iti pammadakes ket maag.
He that concealeth hatred, hath false lips, and he that sendeth forth slander, the same, is a dullard.
19 No adda adu a sasao, saan a maawan ti panagsalungasing, ngem masirib ti siasinoman a naannad kadagiti ibagbagana.
In the multitude of words, there wanteth not transgression, but, he that restraineth his lips, sheweth prudence.
20 Ti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket maiyarig iti puro a pirak ti dilana; bassit laeng ti pategna iti puso ti nadangkes.
Choice silver, is the tongue of the righteous, but, the sense of the lawless, is very small.
21 Dagiti bibig ti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket adu ti mataraonanna, ngem dagiti maag ket matay gapu iti kinakurang ti ammoda.
The lips of the righteous, feed multitudes, but, the foolish, for lack of sense, shall die.
22 Dagiti nasayaat a sagut ni Yahweh ket mangmangted iti kinabaknang ken saanna dagitoy a nayunan iti rigat.
The blessing of Yahweh, itself maketh rich, and he addeth no grievance therewith.
23 Ti kinadangkes ket ay-ayam nga ay-ayamen dagiti maag, ngem ti kinasirib ket pakaragsakan ti tao a mannakaawat.
It is, mere sport to a stupid man, to commit lewdness, but, wisdom, pertaineth to a man of understanding.
24 Ti pagbutbutngan ti nadangkes ket dumtengto kenkuana, ngem ti tarigagay ti nalinteg ket maitedto kenkuana.
The dread of the lawless one, the same, shall overtake him, but, the desire of the righteous, shall he granted.
25 Dagiti nadangkes ket maiyarig iti lumablabas a bagio, ket agpukawen, ngem dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket pundasion nga agpaut iti agnanayon.
Like the passing away of a tempest, so the lawless one is not, but, the righteous, [hath] an age-abiding foundation.
26 Kas iti suka kadagiti ngipen ken asuk kadagiti mata, kasta ti sadut kadagiti mangibabaon kenkuana.
As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so, is the sluggard, to them who send him.
27 Ti panagbuteng kenni Yahweh ket mangpaatiddog iti biag, ngem umababa dagiti tawtawen dagiti nadangkes.
The reverence of Yahweh, addeth days, but, the years of the lawless, shall be shortened.
28 Ti namnama dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg ket isu ti rag-oda, ngem umababa dagiti tawtawen dagiti nadangkes.
The hope of the righteous, shall be gladness, but, the expectation of the lawless, shall vanish.
29 Salsalakniban ti wagas ni Yahweh dagiti napudno, ngem pakadadaelan daytoy para kadagiti nadangkes.
A refuge for the blameless, is the path of Yahweh, but, destruction, [awaiteth] the workers of iniquity.
30 Saan a pulos a mapukaw dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg, ngem dagiti nadangkes ket saan nga agtalinaed iti daga.
The righteous, to times age-abiding, shall remain unshaken, but, the lawless, shall not inhabit the earth.
31 Ti bunga ti kinasirib ket agtaud iti ngiwat dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg, ngem maputedto ti ballikog a dila.
The mouth of the righteous, beareth the fruit of wisdom, but, a perverse tongue, shall be cut off.
32 Ammo dagiti bibig dagiti agar-aramid iti nalinteg no ania ti makaay-ayo, ngem ti ngiwat dagiti nadangkes, ammoda no ania ti ballikog.
The lips of the righteous, know what is pleasing, but, the mouth of the lawless, [speaketh] perversities.
