< Nehemias 9 >

1 Ita, iti maikaduapulo ket uppat nga aldaw iti dayta met la a bulan, naguummong dagiti tattao ti Israel ket nagayunarda, nagisuotda iti nakersang a lupot, ken nangikabilda iti dapu kadagiti uloda.
On the twenty-fourth day of the same month, the Israelites gathered together, fasting and wearing sackcloth, with dust on their heads.
2 Inlasin dagiti kaputotan ni Israel dagiti bagida manipud kadagiti amin a ganggannaet. Timmakderda sada impudno dagiti basolda ken dagiti dakes nga inar-aramid dagiti kapuonanda.
Those of Israelite descent separated themselves from all the foreigners, and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.
3 Nagtakderda iti ayanda ket tallo nga orasda a nagbasa manipud iti Libro ti Linteg ni Yahweh a Diosda. Tallo nga orasda met a nagipudpudno kadagiti basolda ket nagrukrukbabda kenni Yahweh a Diosda.
While they stood in their places, they read from the Book of the Law of the LORD their God for a quarter of the day, and they spent another quarter of the day in confession and worship of the LORD their God.
4 Dagiti Levita a da Jesua, Bani, Kadmiel, Sebanias, Bunni, Serebias, Bani ken Kenani ket nagtakderda kadagiti agdan sada nagkararag iti napigsa kenni Yahweh a Diosda.
And the Levites—Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani, and Chenani—stood on the raised platform and cried out in a loud voice to the LORD their God.
5 Ket kinuna dagiti Levita a da Jesua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hasabneyas, Serebias, Hodias, Sebanias ken Petahias, “Tumakderkayo ket idaydayawyo ni Yahweh a Diosyo iti agnanayon nga awan inggana.” Idayawda koma ti nadayag a naganmo, ken maitan-ok koma daytoy a nangatngato ngem iti tunggal bendision ken dayaw.
Then the Levites—Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah—said, “Stand up and bless the LORD your God from everlasting to everlasting: Blessed be Your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.
6 Sika ni Yahweh. Siksika laeng. Inaramidmo ti langit, dagiti kangangatoan a langit agraman ti amin a buyotda, ti daga ken amin a linaonna, dagiti baybay ken amin a linaonda. Sika ti nangted iti biag kadakuada amin, ket agdaydayaw kenka dagiti amin nga armada ti anghel.
You alone are the LORD. You created the heavens, the highest heavens with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to all things, and the host of heaven worships You.
7 Sika ni Yahweh, ti Dios a nangpili kenni Abram ken nangiruar kenkuana idiay Ur dagiti Caldeo ken nangpanagan kenkuana iti Abraham.
You are the LORD, the God who chose Abram, who brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and gave him the name Abraham.
8 Nasarakam ti pusona a napudno iti sangoanam ket nakitulagka nga itedmo kadagiti kaputotanna ti daga dagiti Cananeo, dagiti Heteo, dagiti Amorreo, dagiti Perezeo, dagiti Jebuseo ken dagiti Gergeseo. Tinungpalmo ti karim gapu ta nalintegka.
You found his heart faithful before You, and made a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites and Hittites, of the Amorites and Perizzites, of the Jebusites and Girgashites— to give it to his descendants. You have kept Your promise, because You are righteous.
9 Nakitam ti pannakaparigat dagiti ammami idiay Egipto ket nangngegmo ti asugda idi addada idiay baybay dagiti Runo.
You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt; You heard their cry at the Red Sea.
10 Nangtedka kadagiti pagilasinan ken kadagiti datdatlag a maibusor kenni Faraon, kadagiti amin nga adipenna ken kadagiti amin a tattao iti dagana, ta ammom a nagtignay dagiti Egipcio a sipapalangguad kadagiti Israelita. Ngem nangipasdekka iti nagan nga agpaay kenka nga agtaltalinaed agingga iti daytoy nga aldaw.
You performed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, all his officials, and all the people of his land, for You knew they had acted with arrogance against our fathers. You made a name for Yourself that endures to this day.
11 Ket ginuduam ti baybay iti sangoananda tapno nakapagdaliasatda iti tengnga ti baybay iti namaga a daga; ken impurruakmo dagiti mangkamkamat kadakuada iti kaaddaleman, a kasla bato a naipurruak iti adalem a danum.
You divided the sea before them, and they crossed through it on dry ground. You hurled their pursuers into the depths like a stone into raging waters.
12 Indalanmo ida babaen iti kasla adigi nga ulep iti aldaw ken kasla adigi nga apuy iti rabii a manglawag iti dalanda tapno makapagdaliasatda babaen iti lawag daytoy.
You led them with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they should travel.
13 Iti rabaw ti Bantay Sinai, bimmabaka manipud langit ket nakisaoka kadakuada ket intedmo kadakuada dagiti nalinteg a paglintegan ken dagiti pudno a linteg, dagiti naimbag nga alagaden ken dagiti bilin.
You came down on Mount Sinai and spoke with them from heaven. You gave them just ordinances, true laws, and good statutes and commandments.
14 Impakaammom kadakuada ti intudingmo a nasantoan nga Aldaw a Panaginana, ken intedmo kadakuada dagiti bilin, alagaden ken linteg babaen kenni Moises nga adipenmo.
You revealed to them Your holy Sabbath and gave them commandments and statutes and laws through Your servant Moses.
15 Intedmo kadakuada ti tinapay manipud langit para iti panagbisinda, ken danum manipud iti bato para iti pannakawawda, ket imbagam kadakuada a sumrekda ket tagikuaenda ti daga nga inkarim nga ited kadakuada.
In their hunger You gave them bread from heaven; in their thirst You brought them water from the rock. You told them to go in and possess the land which You had sworn to give them.
16 Ngem isuda ken dagiti kapuonantayo ket awan panagraemda, nagsukirda ket saanda nga impangag dagiti bilinmo.
But they and our fathers became arrogant and stiff-necked and did not obey Your commandments.
17 Saanda a dimngeg ken saanda a pinanpanunot ti maipapan kadagiti datdatlag nga inaramidmo kadakuada, ngem nagsukirda ketdi ket iti panagsukirda, nangdutokda iti mangidaulo kadakuada nga agsubli iti pannakatagabuda. Ngem sika ti Dios a mammakawan, managparabur ken manangngaasi, saan a nalaka nga agpungtot ken saan nga agpatingga ti panagayatmo. Saanmo ida binaybay-an.
They refused to listen and failed to remember the wonders You performed among them. They stiffened their necks and appointed a leader to return them to their bondage in Egypt. But You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in loving devotion, and You did not forsake them.
18 Saanmo ida a binaybay-an uray idi nangsukogda iti sinan-urbon a baka a landok ket kinunada, 'Daytoy ti diosyo a nangiruar kadakayo iti Egipto,' kabayatan iti nakaro a panagtabtabbaawda.
Even when they cast for themselves an image of a calf and said, ‘This is your God who brought you up out of Egypt,’ and when they committed terrible blasphemies,
19 O Dios, iti kinamanangngaasim, saanmo ida a binaybay-an idiay let-ang. Saan ida a pinanawan ti kasla adigi nga ulep a mangidalan kadakuada iti aldaw ken uray pay ti kasla adigi nga apuy iti rabii a nanglawag kadakuada iti dalan a pagnaanda.
You in Your great compassion did not forsake them in the wilderness. By day the pillar of cloud never turned away from guiding them on their path; and by the night the pillar of fire illuminated the way they should go.
20 Intedmo kadakuada ti naimbag nga Espiritum a mangisuro kadakuada, saanmo nga impaidam ti manam kadagiti ngiwatda ken inikkam ida ti danum para iti pannakawawda.
You gave Your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold Your manna from their mouths, and You gave them water for their thirst.
21 Iti uppat a pulo a tawen, impaaymo ti masapulda idiay let-ang, ket saanda a nagkurang iti aniaman. Saan a dimmaan dagiti pagan-anayda ken saan a limteg dagiti saksakada.
For forty years You sustained them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing. Their clothes did not wear out and their feet did not swell.
22 Inikkam ida kadagiti pagarian ken kadagiti tattao, ket insaadmo ida iti daga iti tunggal adayo a beddeng. Isu a tinagikuada ti daga ni Sihon nga ari ti Hesbon ken ti daga ni Og nga ari ti Basan.
You gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner of the land. So they took the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and of Og king of Bashan.
23 Pinaadum dagiti annakda a kas kaadu dagiti bituen iti langit, ket impanmo ida iti daga. Imbagam kadagiti kapuonanda a sumrekda ket tagikuaenda daytoy.
You multiplied their descendants like the stars of heaven and brought them to the land You had told their fathers to enter and possess.
24 Isu a simrek dagiti tattao ket tinagikuada ti daga, linakubmo iti sangoananda dagiti Cananeo nga agnanaed iti dayta a daga. Impaimam dagiti Cananeo kadagiti Israelita, agraman dagiti arida ken dagiti tattao iti dayta a daga, tapno mabalin nga aramiden ti Israel ti kayatda nga aramiden kadakuada.
So their descendants went in and possessed the land; You subdued before them the Canaanites dwelling in the land. You delivered into their hands the kings and peoples of the land, to do with them as they wished.
25 Sinakupda dagiti nasarikedkedan a siudad ken ti nadam-eg a daga, ket sinakupda dagiti babbalay a napnoan kadagiti amin nga agkakaimbag a banbanag, dagiti bubon a nakalin, dagiti kaubasan, dagiti kaoliboan ken dagiti kayo nga agbunga iti nawadwad. Isu a nanganda, nabsogda, napnekda ken nagrag-oda iti dakkel a kinaimbagmo.
They captured fortified cities and fertile land and took houses full of all goods, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled; they grew fat and delighted in Your great goodness.
26 Kalpasanna, nagsukir ken nagrebeldeda kenka. Impalladawda ti lintegmo kadagiti likudda. Pinapatayda dagiti propetam a nangballaag kadakuada nga agsublida kenka, ken napalalo ti panagtabbaawda.
But they were disobedient and rebelled against You; they flung Your law behind their backs. They killed Your prophets, who had admonished them to return to You. They committed terrible blasphemies.
27 Isu nga impaimam ida kadagiti kabusorda, a nangparigat kadakuada. Ket iti tiempo ti panagsagabada, immasugda kenka ket impangagmo ida manipud langit ken namin-adum ida nga inispal iti ima dagiti kabusorda gapu iti dakkel a kaasim.
So You delivered them into the hands of enemies who oppressed them, and in their time of distress they cried out to You. From heaven You heard them, and in Your great compassion You gave them deliverers who saved them from the hands of their enemies.
28 Ngem kalpasan a maka-inanada, nagaramidda manen iti dakes iti sagoanam ket binaybay-am ida iti ima dagiti kabusorda, isu nga inturayan ida dagiti kabusorda. Ngem idi nagsublida ket immasugda kenka, dinengngegmo ida manipud langit ket adu a daras nga inispalmo ida gapu iti kinamanangngaasim.
But as soon as they had rest, they again did evil in Your sight. So You abandoned them to the hands of their enemies, who had dominion over them. When they cried out to You again, You heard from heaven, and You delivered them many times in Your compassion.
29 Binallaagam ida tapno agsublida manen iti lintegmo. Ngem nagbalinda a napalangguad ken saanda nga impangag dagiti bilinmo. Nagbasolda kadagiti paglintegam a mangted iti biag iti siasinoman nga agtultulnog kadagitoy. Saanda a nagtulnog kadagitoy ngem ketdi saanda nga impangag dagitoy, ket nagkedkedda uray laeng koma dumngeg kadagitoy.
You admonished them to turn back to Your law, but they were arrogant and disobeyed Your commandments. They sinned against Your ordinances, by which a man will live if he practices them. They stubbornly shrugged their shoulders; they stiffened their necks and would not obey.
30 Iti adu a tawtawen, inanusam ken binallaagam ida babaen iti Espiritum babaen kadagiti propetam. Ngem saanda latta a dimngeg. Isu nga impaimam ida kadagiti tattao iti aglawlawda.
You were patient with them for many years, and Your Spirit admonished them through Your prophets. Yet they would not listen, so You gave them into the hands of the neighboring peoples.
31 Ngem iti naindaklan a kaasim, saanmo ida a ginibus wenno linaksid, ta managparabur ken manangngaasika a Dios.
But in Your great compassion, You did not put an end to them; nor did You forsake them, for You are a gracious and compassionate God.
32 Ita ngarud O Diosmi, ti natan-ok, ti mannakabalin, ken ti nakaskasdaaw a Dios, a mangsalsalimetmet iti tulag ken iti awan patinggana nga ayatna, saanmo koma a pagparangen a bassit laeng daytoy a pakarigatan nga immay kadakami, kadagiti arimi, kadagiti pangulomi, kadagiti padimi, kadagiti propetami, kadagiti kapuonanmi ken kadagiti amin a tattaom manipud pay iti tiempo dagiti ari ti Asiria agingga ita.
So now, our God, the great and mighty and awesome God who keeps His gracious covenant, do not view lightly all the hardship that has come upon us, and upon our kings and leaders, our priests and prophets, our ancestors and all Your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until today.
33 Nalintegka iti amin a banbanag nga immay kadakami, ta napudno ket nagtignaykami a sidadangkes.
You are just in all that has befallen us, because You have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.
34 Saan a sinalimetmetan dagiti arimi, dagiti panguloenmi, dagiti padi, ken dagiti kapuonanmi ti lintegmo, saanda pay nga impangag dagiti bilinmo wenno ti napudno a tulagmo nga isu ti nangballaagam kadakuada.
Our kings and leaders and priests and fathers did not obey Your law or listen to Your commandments and warnings that You gave them.
35 Uray iti bukodda a pagarian, kabayatan a ragragsakenda ti naindaklan a kinaimbagmo, iti nalawa ken nadam-eg a daga nga intedmo kadakuada, saanda a nagserbi kenka wenno saanda latta a tinallikudan dagiti dakes a wagasda.
For even while they were in their kingdom, with the abundant goodness that You had given them, and in the spacious and fertile land that You had set before them, they would not serve You or turn from their wicked ways.
36 Ita, tagabukamin iti daga nga intedmo a ragragsaken dagiti kapuonanmi, dagiti bunga ken dagiti naiimbag a sagsagut daytoy, ket adtoy, tagabukami!
So here we are today as slaves in the land You gave our fathers to enjoy its fruit and goodness— here we are as slaves!
37 Maited ti nawadwad nga apit iti dagami kadagiti ari nga insaadmo kadakami gapu kadagiti basolmi. Iturturayandakami ken dagiti tarakenmi a kas iti pagragsakanda. Napalalo ti pannakaparigatmi.
Its abundant harvest goes to the kings You have set over us because of our sins. And they rule over our bodies and our livestock as they please. We are in great distress.
38 Gapu amin kadagitoy, mangaramidkami iti natibker a katulagan nga isuratmi. Nakasurat iti naselioan a kasuratan dagiti nagan dagiti prinsipe, dagiti Levita ken dagiti papadimi.”
In view of all this, we make a binding agreement, putting it in writing and sealing it with the names of our leaders, Levites, and priests.”
