Nehemias 12
1 Dagitoy dagiti padi ken dagiti Levita a simmangpet a kadua ni Zerubbabel a putot ni Salatiel, ken ni Josue: Da Seraias, Jeremias, Ezra,
Now these [are] the priests and the Levites that went up with Zorobabel the son of Salathiel and Jesus: Saraia, Jeremia, Esdra,
2 Amarias, Malluk, Hattus,
Amaria, Maluch,
3 Secanias, Rehum, ken Meremot.

4 Da Iddo, Ginnetoi, Abias,
5 Mijamin, Maadias, Bilga,
6 Semaias, Joyarib, Jedaias,
7 Sallu, Amok, Hilkias ken Jedaias. Dagitoy dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti papadi ken dagiti katulonganda idi tiempo ni Josue.
These [were] the chiefs of the priests, and their brethren in the days of Jesus.
8 Dagiti Levita ket da Jesua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Serebias, Juda ken Mattanias a mangimatmaton kadagiti kankanta a pagyaman, agraman dagiti katulonganda.
And the Levites [were], Jesus, Banui, Cadmiel, Sarabia, Jodae, Matthania: he [was] over the bands,
9 Da Bakbukias ken Unno, dagiti katulonganda, a nakatakder iti sangoananda kabayatan ti panagdayawda.
and his brethren [were appointed] to the daily courses.
10 Ni Josue ti ama ni Joyakim, ni Joyakim ti ama ni Eliasib, ni Eliasib ti ama ni Joyada,
And Jesus begot Joakim, and Joakim begot Eliasib, and Eliasib [begot] Jodae,
11 ni Joyada ti ama ni Jonatan, ken ni Jonatan ti ama ni Jaddua.
and Jodae begot Jonathan, and Jonathan begot Jadu.
12 Idi tiempo ni Joyakim, dagitoy dagiti papadi, dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti amma dagiti pampamiliada: Ni Maraias ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Seraias, ni Hananias ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Jeremias,
And in the days of Joakim, his brethren the priests and the heads of families [were, belonging] to Saraia, Amaria; to Jeremia, Anania;
13 ni Mesullam ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Ezra, ni Jehohanan ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Amarias,
to Esdra, Mesulam; to Amaria, Joanan;
14 ni Jonatan ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Malluki, ni Jose ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Sebanias.
to Amaluch, Jonathan; to Sechenia, Joseph;
15 Iti panangituloy, ni Adna ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Harim, ni Helkai ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Merayot,
to Are, Mannas; to Marioth, Elcai;
16 ni Zacarias ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Iddo, ni Mesullam ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Ginneton,
to Adadai, Zacharia; to Ganathoth, Mesolam;
17 ni Zikri ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Abias. Adda met ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Miniamin. Ni Piltai ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Moadias,
to Abia, Zechri; to Miamin, Maadai; to Pheleti, [one];
18 ni Sammua ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Bilga, ni Jehonatan ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Semaias,
to Balgas, Samue; to Semia, Jonathan;
19 ni Mattenai ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Joyarib, ni Uzzi ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Jedaias,
to Joarib, Matthanai; to Edio, Ozi;
20 ni Kallai ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Sallai, ni Eber ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Amok,
to Salai, Callai; to Amec, Abed;
21 ni Hasabias ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Hilkias, ken ni Netanel ti pangulo iti pamilia ni Jedaias.
to Elkia, Asabias; to Jedeiu, Nathanael.
22 Idi tiempo ni Eliasib, naisurat dagiti Levita a da Eliasib, Joyada, Johanan, ken Jaddua a kas panguloen dagiti pamilia, ken naisurat dagiti papadi kabayatan iti panagturay ni Dario a Taga-Persia.
The Levites in the days of Eliasib, Joada, and Joa, and Joanan, and Idua, [were] recorded heads of families: also the priests, in the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 Naisurat dagiti kaputotan ni Levi ken dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti pampamilia idiay Libro ti Annals agingga iti tiempo ni Johanan a putot ni Eliasib.
And the sons of Levi, heads of families, [were] written in the book of the chronicles, even to the days of Joanan son of Elisue.
24 Ken ti mangidadaulo kadagiti Levita ket da Hazabias, Serebias, ken Jesua a putot ni Kadmiel, agraman dagiti katulonganda a nagtakder iti sangoananda nga agdayaw ken agyaman, agsinnungbat ti tunggal bunggoy, a kas panagtulnogda iti bilin ni David, a tao ti Dios.
And the heads of the Levites [were] Asabia, and Sarabia, and Jesu: and the sons of Cadmiel, and their brethren over against them, were to sing hymns of praise, according to the commandment of David the man of God, course by course.
25 Da Mattanias, Bakbukias, Obadias, Mesullam, Talmon ken Akkub ti guardia nga agtaktakder iti ruangan dagiti siled a pagiduldulinan.
When I gathered the porters,
26 Nagserbida idi tiempo ni Joyakim a putot ni Josue a putot ni Josadac, ken idi tiempo ni Nehemias a gobernador ken ni Ezra a padi ken eskriba.
[it was] in the days of Joakim son of Jesus, son of Josedec, and in the days of Neemia: and Esdras the priest [was] scribe.
27 Idi maidaton ti pader ti Jerusalem, sinapul dagiti tattao dagiti Levita iti sadinoman a nagnaedanda, tapno ikkuyogda ida idiay Jerusalem ket siraragsakda a rambakan ti panangidaton iti pader, a mabuyogan iti panagyaman ken kankanta a mabuyogan kadagiti aweng ti piangpiang, arpa ken mabuyogan iti lira.
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites in their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep a feast of dedication and gladness with thanksgiving, and they sounded cymbals with songs, and [had] lutes and harps.
28 Nagguommong dagiti kumakanta manipud kadagiti distrito iti aglawlaw ti Jerusalem ken manipud kadagiti barrio iti Netofa.
And the sons of the singers were assembled both from the neighbourhood round about to Jerusalem, and from the villages,
29 Naggapuda pay idiay Bet Gilgal ken iti daga ti Geba ken Asmabet, ta nagaramid dagiti kumakanta kadagiti barrio a nagnaedanda iti aglawlaw ti Jerusalem.
and from the country: for the singers built themselves villages by Jerusalem.
30 Inaramid dagiti padi ken dagiti Levita ti seremonia ti pannakadalus kadagiti bagbagida, kadagiti tattao, kadagiti ruangan, ken iti pader.
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and they purified the people, and the porters, and the wall.
31 Ket pinaulik dagiti panguloen ti Juda iti rabaw ti pader, ket nangdutokak iti dua a dakkel a bunggoy dagiti kumakanta a nangted iti panagyaman. Nagpakannawan ti maysa a bunggoy iti rabaw ti pader nga agturong iti Ruangan a Pagibelbellengan iti Rugit.
And they brought up the princes of Juda on the wall, and they appointed two great [companies] for thanksgiving, and they passed on the right hand on the wall of the dung-gate.
32 Simmaruno kadakuada ni Hosaias ken ti kagudua dagiti panguloen ti Juda,
And after them went Osaia, and half the princes of Juda,
33 ket simmaruno kadakuada da Azarias, Ezra, Mesullam,
and Azarias, and Esdras, and Mesollam,
34 Juda, Benjamin, Semaias, Jeremias,
and Juda, and Benjamin, and Samaias and Jeremia.
35 ken dagiti dadduma nga annak dagiti padi nga addaan kadagiti trumpeta, ken ni Zacarias a putot ni Jonatan a putot ni Semaias a putot ni Mattanias a putot ni Micaias a putot ni Zaccur a maysa kadagiti kaputotan ni Asaf.
And [some] of the sons of the priest with trumpets, Zacharias son of Jonathan, son of Samaias, son of Matthania, son of Michaia, son of Zacchur, son of Asaph:
36 Adda met idiay dagiti kabagian ni Zacarias, da Semaias, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Netanel, Juda, ken Hanani, addaanda kadagiti pagtokaran a kapada ti inaramat ni David a tao ti Dios. Adda iti sangoda ni Ezra nga eskriba.
and his brethren, Samaia, and Oziel, Gelol, Jama, Aia, Nathanael, and Juda, Anani, to praise with the hymns of David the man of God; and Esdras the scribe [was] before them,
37 Iti abay ti Ruangan ti Ubbog, immulida iti agdan iti siudad ni David iti pagsang-atan iti pader, iti labes ti palasio ni David, nga agturong iti Ruangan ti Danum idiay daya.
at the gate, to praise before them, and they went up by the steps of the city of David, in the ascent of the wall, above the house of David, even to the water-gate
38 Ket nagpakannigid ti maysa a bunggoy dagiti kumakanta a mangmangted iti panagyaman. Sinurotko ida iti rabaw ti pader a kaduak ti kagudua dagiti tattao, iti labes ti Tore ti Oven, nga agturong iti Akaba a Pader,
39 iti labes ti Ruangan ti Efraim, iti abay ti Daan a Ruangan, iti abay ti Ruangan ti Lames, iti Torre ti Hananel ken iti Torre dagiti Sangagasut, nga agturong iti Ruangan dagiti Karnero, ket nagsardengda iti Ruangan dagiti Guardia.
of Ephraim, and to the fish-gate, and by the tower of Anameel, and as far as the sheep-gate.
40 Agpada ngarud a nakadanon dagiti dua a bunggoy dagiti kumakanta iti disso a pagtaktakderanda iti balay ti Dios, ket nakadanonak met iti disso a pagtaktakderak a kaduak ti kagudua kadagiti opisial.
41 Ken nakadanon met dagiti papadi iti disso a pagtakderanda: da Eliakim, Maaseias, Miniamin, Micaias, Elioenai, Zacarias, ken Hananias, a nakatrumpeta,
42 Maaseias, Semaias, Eliazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malkija, Elam ken Ezer. Nagkanta dagiti kumakanta nga indalan ni Jezrahias.
And the singers were heard, and were numbered.
43 Ket nagidatonda iti adu a sakripisio iti dayta nga aldaw, ken nagrag-oda, ta pinarag-o ida ti Dios iti kasta unay. Nagrag-o met dagiti babbai ken ubbing. Isu a nangngeg iti adayo ti kinaragsak ti Jerusalem.
And in that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced; for God had made them very joyful: and their wives and their children rejoiced: and the joy in Jerusalem was heard from afar off.
44 Iti dayta nga aldaw, adda dagiti lallaki a nadutokan a mangaywan kadagiti siled a pagiduldulinan kadagiti kontribusion, kadagiti umuna a bunga, ken kadagiti apagkapullo, tapno urnongenda dagiti pannakabingay dagiti padi ken dagiti Levita a maiyannurot iti linteg. Nadutokan ti tunggal maysa nga agtrabaho kadagiti talon nga asideg kadagiti il-ili. Ta naragsakan ti Juda kadagiti padi ken Levita a nakatakder iti sangoananda.
And in that day they appointed men over the treasuries, for the treasures, the first fruits, and the tithes, and [for] the chiefs of the cities who were assembled among them, [to furnish] portions for the priests and Levites: for [there was] joy in Juda over the priests and over the Levites that waited.
45 Inaramidda iti panagserbi iti Diosda, ken ti seremonia ti pannakapadalus, a kas panangtungpal kadagiti bilin ni David ken ni Solomon a putotna, ket kasta met ti inaramid dagiti kumakanta ken dagiti guardia iti ruangan.
And they kept the charges of their God, and the charges of the purification, and [ordered] the singers and the porters, according to the commandments of David and his son Solomon.
46 Ta kadagiti napalabas a tiempo, kadagiti aldaw da David ken Asaf, adda dagiti mangidaldalan kadagiti kumakanta, ken adda dagiti kankanta a pagdayaw ken pagyaman iti Dios.
For in the days of David Asaph was originally first of the singers, and [they sang] hymns and praise to God.
47 Idi tiempo ni Zerubbabel ken idi tiempo ni Nehemias, inted ti entero nga Israel ti inaldaw a bingay dagiti kumakanta ken dagiti mangbanbantay iti ruangan. Ilaslasinda ti bingay dagiti Levita, ket ilaslasin dagiti Levita ti bingay dagiti kaputotan ni Aaron.
And all Israel in the days of Zorobabel, and in the days of Neemias, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, a daily rate: and consecrated them to the Levites: and the Levites consecrated them to the sons of Aaron.
