< Mateo 23 >

1 Kalpasanna, nagsao ni Jesus kadagiti adu a tattao ken kadagiti adalanna.
Then Jesus conversed with the multitude and with his disciples,
2 Kinunana, “Agtugtugaw dagiti eskriba ken Pariseo iti tugaw ni Moses'.
and said to them: The Scribes and Pharisees sit in the seat of Moses.
3 Ngarud aniaman nga ibilinda kadakayo nga aramiden, aramidenyo ken tungpalenyo dagitoy a banbanag. Ngem saanyo a tuladen dagiti aramidda, ta mangibagada kadagiti banbanag ngem saanda nga aramiden dagitoy.
Whatever therefore they tell you to observe, that observe and do. But according to their deeds, practise ye not: for they say, and do not.
4 Wen, mangreppetda kadagiti dadagsen a narigat nga awiten, ket ipabaklayda kadagiti tattao. Ngem mismo nga isuda ket saandanto nga ikuti iti ramayda tapno awitenda.
They tie up heavy burdens, and lay them on men's shoulders; but will not themselves touch them with their finger.
5 Amin dagiti aramidda, aramidenda tapno makita dagiti tattao. Ta aramidenda nga akaba dagiti filacteriada ken pagayadenda dagiti baruyboy dagiti pagan-anayda.
And all their works they do, to be seen of men: for they make their phylacteries broad, and extend the fringes of their garments.
6 Pagay-ayatda dagiti kangrunaan a lugar iti pagrarambakan ken dagiti kangrunaan a pagtugawan kadagiti sinagoga,
And they love the highest couches at suppers and the highest seats in the synagogues,
7 ken dagiti naisangsangayan a kablaaw kadagiti pagtagilakoan, ken ti panawag kdakuada dagiti tattao iti 'Rabbi.'
and the greeting in the market places, and to be addressed by men with Rabbi.
8 Ngem masapul a saankayo a maawagan iti 'Rabbi', ta addaankayo laeng iti maysa a maestro, ken agkakabsatkayo amin.
But be not ye called Rabbi; for one is your Rabbi, and ye are all brethren.
9 Ken awan ti awaganyo iti ‘amak’ ditoy daga, ta addaankayo iti maysa laeng nga Ama, ket adda isuna idiay Langit.
And ye shall not call yourselves Father on earth; for one is your Father, who is in heaven.
10 Wenno saan a masapul a maawagankayo iti 'maestro', ta addaankayo laeng iti maysa a maestro, ti Cristo.
And be ye not called guides; for one is your Guide, the Messiah.
11 Ngem ti siasinoman a katan-okan kadakayo isunanto ti adipenyo.
And the great one among you will be your servitor.
12 Maipababanto ti siasinoman a mangipangato iti bagina. Ken maitan-okto ti siasinoman a mangipakumbaba iti bagina.
For whoever shall exalt himself, will be abased: and whoever shall abase himself, will be exalted.
13 Ngem asikayo pay, dakayo nga eskriba ken Pariseo a managinsisingpet! Iserserrayo ti pagarian ti langit kadagiti tattao. Ta dakayo a mismo saankayo sumsumrek iti daytoy, ken saanyo nga ipalubos a sumrek dagiti sumrek koma. Dagiti kaunaan a kasayaatan a kopia ket naikkat ti bersikulo
Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye devour the houses of widows, under the disguise of protracting your prayers. Therefore ye shall receive greater condemnation.
Woe to you. Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye hold the kingdom of heaven closed before men; for ye enter not yourselves, and those that would enter ye suffer not to enter.
15 Asikayo pay, dakayo nga eskriba ken Pariseo, a managinsisingpet! Ta mapankayo iti ballasiw ti taaw ken daga tapno adda maallukoyyo a mamati iti isursuroyo. Ket inton agbalinen a kas kadakayo, pagbalinenyo isuna nga ad-adda pay nga anak ti impierno ngem kadakayo. (Geenna g1067)
Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye traverse sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he is gained, ye make him a child of hell twofold more than yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
16 Asikayo pay, dakayo a bulsek a mangidaldalan, dakayo a nangibaga, 'Siasinoman nga agsapata babaen iti templo, ket awan serserbi ti sapatana. Ngem siasinoman nga agsapata babaen iti balitok iti templo, naigalut isuna iti dayta a sapatana,
Woe to you, ye blind guides: for ye say, Whoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever shall swear by the gold that is in the temple, he is holden.
17 Dakayo a bulsek a maag, ania ti natantan-ok, ti balitok, wenno ti templo a mamagbalin a nasantoan ti balitok?
Ye fools, and blind: for which is greater, the gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?
18 Ken, 'Siasinoman nga agsapata iti altar ket awan mamaay ti sapatana. Ngem siasinoman nga agsapata babaen iti sagut nga adda iti dayta ket maigalut isuna iti dayta a karina,
And, whoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing: but whoever shall swear by the oblation upon it, he is holden.
19 Dakayo a bulsek a tattao, ania aya ti napatpateg, ti sagut, wenno ti altar a mamagbalin a nasantoan ti sagut?
Ye fools, and blind: for which is greater, the oblation, or the altar that sanctifieth the oblation?
20 Ngarud, siasinoman nga agsapata babaen iti altar ket agsapata babaen iti daytoy ken babaen kadagiti amin a banbanag a nakaparabaw iti daytoy.
He therefore who sweareth by the altar, sweareth by it, and by all that is upon it.
21 Ken siasinoman nga agsapata babaen iti templo, agsapata babaen iti daytoy ken babaen kenkuana nga agnanaed iti daytoy.
And he who sweareth by the temple, sweareth by it, and by him that dwelleth in it.
22 Ken siasinoman nga agsapata babaen iti langit ket agsapata babaen iti trono ti Dios ken babaen kenkuana nga agtugtugaw iti daytoy.
And he who sweareth by heaven, sweareth by throne of God, and by him that sitteth on it.
23 Asikayo pay, dakayo nga eskriba ken Pariseo, managinsisingpetkayo! Ta mangtedkayo iti apagkapullo ti inmulayo a yerbabuena, anis, ken kumino, ngem binaybay-anyo a saan a nalpas dagiti nadagdagsen a banbanag a maipapan iti linteg- hustisia, asi, ken pammati. Ngem dagitoy ket rebbbeng koma a naaramidyo, ken saanyo koma a pinanawan a saan a nalpas ti sabali.
Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye tithe mint, and anise, and cummin, and omit the graver matters of the law, judgment, and mercy, and fidelity: these ought ye to do, and those not to omit.
24 Dakayo a bulsek a mangidaldalan, dakayo a mangsagat iti ngilaw ngem alun-unenyo ti kamelio!
Ye blind guides, who strain out gnats, and swallow down camels.
25 Asikayo pay, dakayo nga eskriba ken Pariseo, managinsisingpetkayo! Ta dalusanyo ti ruar ti baso ken ti pinggan ngem iti uneg napunno dagitoy iti kinaagum ken kinalabes.
Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye cleanse the outside of the cup and the dish, while within they are full of rapine and wickedness.
26 Dakayo a bulsek a Pariseo, dalusanyo nga umuna ti uneg ti baso ken pinggan, tapno agbalin met a nadalus iti ruar.
Ye blind Pharisees, cleanse first the inside of the cup and dish, that their outside may be clean also.
27 Asikayo pay, dakayo nga eskriba ken Pariseo, managinsisingpetkayo! Ta maiyarigkayo kadagiti tanem a napintoran iti puraw, a napintas iti ruarna ngem iti unegna ket napno iti tulang ti natay a tattao ken amin a banag a narugit.
Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye are like whited sepulchres, which appear comely without, but are within full of bones of the dead and all impurity.
28 Kasta met kadakayo, kasla kayla nalinteg iti panagkita dagiti tattao, ngem iti kaungganyo ket napno iti panaginsisingpet ken basol.
So ye also, outwardly, appear to men as righteous; but within, ye are full of iniquity and hypocrisy.
29 Asikayo pay, dakayo nga eskriba ken Pariseo, managinsisingpetkayo! Ta yaramidanyo iti tanem dagiti profeta ken ar-arkusanyo dagiti tanem dagiti nalinteg.
Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites: for ye build the tombs of the prophets and ye adorn the sepulchres of the righteous;
30 Kunayo, 'No addakami koma idin a sibibiag kadagiti aldaw dagiti am-ammami, saankami koma a nakiraman kadakuada iti pannakaiparukpok iti dara dagiti profeta.'
and ye say: If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been participators with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Ngarud, dakayo ti mangpaneknek a dakayo ket annak dagidiay nangpapatay kadagiti profeta.
Wherefore ye are witnesses, against yourselves, that ye are the children of them that killed the prophets.
32 Punnoenyo pay ti rukod dagiti amaenyo.
And as for you, fill ye up the measure of your fathers.
33 Dakayo nga uleg, dakayo a kaputotan dagiti karasaen, kasano a malibasanyo ti panangukom ti impierno? (Geenna g1067)
Ye serpents, ye race of vipers: how can ye escape the condemnation of hell? (Geenna g1067)
34 Ngarud, kitaenyo, nangibaonak kadakayo kadagiti profeta, mamasirib a lallaki, ken kadagiti eskriba. Dadduma kadakuada ket papatayenyo ken ilansayo iti krus. Ken saplitenyonto dagiti dadduma kadakuada kadagiti sinagogayo ken kamatenyonto ida iti inilin-ili.
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; some of whom ye will kill and crucify, and some of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will persecute them from city to city:
35 Ti pagbanaganna ket maipabaklay kadakayo amin a pannakaiparukpok ti dara iti daga, manipud iti dara ni Abel a nalinteg agingga iti dara ni Zacarias a putot a lalaki ni Barakias, a pinatayyo iti nagbaetan ti santuario ken altar.
so that on you may come all the blood of the righteous, which hath been shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zachariah, son of Barachiah, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Pudno, ibagak kadakayo, mapasamakto amin dagitoy a banbanag iti daytoy a henerasion.
Verily I say to you, that all these things will come upon this generation.
37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, sika a nangpapatay kadagiti profeta ken nangbato kadagidiay naibaon kenka! Namin-anon a daras a kayatko nga ummongen dagiti annakmo, kas iti panangsalikepkep ti maysa nga upa kadagiti piyyekna, ngem saanyo a kayat!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee: how often would I have gathered thy children, as a hen gathereth her young under her wings, and ye would not.
38 Makitayo, naibati kadakayo ti balayyo nga awan ti aggigian.
Behold, your house is left to you desolate!
39 Ta ibagak kadakayo, saandakto a Makita agingga nga ibagayo, ‘Nabendisionan isuna nga umay iti nagan ti Apo.’”
For I say to you, That ye shall not see me henceforth, until ye shall say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
