< Marcos 1 >
1 Daytoy ti nangrugian iti ebanghelio maipanggep kenni Jesu-Cristo, nga Anak ti Dios.
The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
2 Kas naisurat idiay libro ni propeta Isaias a kunana, “Kitaem, ibaonko ti mensaherok nga umun-una ngem sika, a mangisagana iti dalanmo.
As it has been written by the prophet Isaiah: “Behold, I send my Angel before your face, who shall prepare your way before you.
3 Ti makintimek iti daydiay umaw-awag nga adda idiay let-ang, 'Isaganayo ti dalan ti Apo, pagbalinenyo a nalinteg dagiti pagnaanna.'”
The voice of one crying out in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight his paths.”
4 Immay ni Juan a nangbautisar idiay let-ang ken nangikasaba iti pannakabautisar iti panagbabawi para iti pannakapakawan dagiti basbasol.
John was in the desert, baptizing and preaching a baptism of repentance, as a remission of sins.
5 Ti entero a pagilian iti Judea ken amin a tattao idiay Jerusalem ket rimmuarda a napan kenkuana. Binautisaranna amin ida idiay Karayan Jordan, ket impudnoda dagiti basbasolda.
And there went out to him all the region of Judea and all those of Jerusalem, and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
6 Nakakawes ni Juan iti kagay a naaramid manipud iti buok ti kamelyo, nakabarikes iti lalat, ken nangnangan isuna iti dudun ken diro.
And John was clothed with camel’s hair and with a leather belt around his waist. And he ate locusts and wild honey.
7 isuna ket kinunana, “Adda iti sumaruno kaniak a nabilbileg ngem siak, ket saanak a maikari nga agrukob a mangwarwar iti tali dagiti sandaliasna.
And he preached, saying: “One stronger than me comes after me. I am not worthy to reach down and loosen the laces of his shoes.
8 Bautisarankayo babaen iti danum, ngem bautisarannakayo babaen ti Espiritu Santo.”
I have baptized you with water. Yet truly, he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
9 Napasamak kadagidiay nga al-aldaw a simmangpet ni Jesus manipud Nazaret iti Galilea, ket binautisaran isuna ni Juan idiay Karayan Jordan.
And it happened that, in those days, Jesus arrived from Nazareth of Galilee. And he was baptized by John in the Jordan.
10 Apaman a rimmuar ni Jesus manipud iti danum, nakitana a nalukatan ti langit ken ti Espiritu ket bumabbaba kenkuana a kasla kalapati.
And immediately, upon ascending from the water, he saw the heavens opened and the Spirit, like a dove, descending, and remaining with him.
11 Ket adda timek a nagsao sadi langit, “Sika ti Anakko a dungdungwek. Maay-ayoak unay kenka.”
And there was a voice from heaven: “You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased.”
12 Ket dagus nga inturong isuna ti Espiritu a rumuar a mapan idiay let-ang.
And immediately the Spirit prompted him into the desert.
13 Adda isuna idiay let-ang iti uppat a pulo nga aldaw, ket sinulsulisog isuna ni Satanas. Adda isuna iti ayan dagiti atap nga ayup, ket pinagserbian isuna dagiti anghel.
And he was in the desert for forty days and forty nights. And he was tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the Angels ministered to him.
14 Ita, kalpasan a natiliw ni Juan, dimteng ni Jesus idiay Galilea ket inwarwaragawagna ti ebanghelio ti Dios,
Then, after John was handed over, Jesus went into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 a kinunkunana, “Ti tiempo ket natungpalen, ken ti pagarian ti Dios ket asidegen. Agbabawikayo ken mamatikayo iti ebanghelio.”
and saying: “For the time has been fulfilled and the kingdom of God has drawn near. Repent and believe in the Gospel.”
16 Iti ilalabasna iti igid ti baybay ti Galilea, nakitana da Simon ken ni Andres a kabsat a lalaki ni Simon a mangiwaywayat iti iket idiay baybay, ta mangngalapda.
And passing by the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew, casting nets into the sea, for they were fishermen.
17 Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Surotendak, ket pagbalinenkayo a mangngalap iti tattao.”
And Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
18 Ket dagus nga imbatida dagiti iketda ket simmurotda kenkuana.
And at once abandoning their nets, they followed him.
19 Apaman a nakaadayo bassit ni Jesus, nakitana ni Santiago nga anak ni Zebedeo ken ni Juan a kabsatna a lalaki; addada iti bangka nga agtartarimaan kadagiti iket.
And continuing on a little ways from there, he saw James of Zebedee and his brother John, and they were mending their nets in a boat.
20 Dagus nga inayabanna isuda ket pinanawanda ti amada a ni Zebedeo nga adda iti bangka a kaduana dagiti babayadan nga adipen, ket sinurotda isuna.
And immediately he called them. And leaving behind their father Zebedee in the boat with his hired hands, they followed him.
21 Ket dimtengda idiay Capernaum, ket iti Aldaw a Panaginana, napan a dagus ni Jesus iti sinagoga ket nagisuro.
And they entered into Capernaum. And entering into the synagogue promptly on the Sabbaths, he taught them.
22 Nasdaawda iti panagisurona, ta nagisuro isuna kadakuada a kas maysa nga addaan iti turay a saan ket a kas kadagiti eskriba.
And they were astonished over his doctrine. For he was teaching them as one who has authority, and not like the scribes.
23 Nairana nga adda idiay sinagogada ti maysa a lalaki nga addaan iti narugit nga espiritu ket impukkawna,
And in their synagogue, there was a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
24 “Ania iti pakibianganmi kenka, Jesus ti Nazaret? Immayka kadi a mangdadael kadakami? Ammok no siasinoka. Sika ti Nasantoan ti Dios!”
saying: “What are we to you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.”
25 Tinubngar ni Jesus ti demonio a kinunana, “Agulimekka ket rummuarka kenkuana!”
And Jesus admonished him, saying, “Be silent, and depart from the man.”
26 Ket intumba ti dakes nga espiritu ti lalaki ken agik-ikkis a rimmuar manipud kenkuana.
And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, departed from him.
27 Ket nasdaaw amin dagiti tattao, isu a sinaludsodda iti tumunggal maysa, “Ania daytoy? Maysa a baro a sursuro nga addaan turay! Bilinenna pay uray dagiti narugit nga espiritu, ket agtulnogda kenkuana.”
And they were all so amazed that they inquired among themselves, saying: “What is this? And what is this new doctrine? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.”
28 Ket dagus a rimuar ti damag maipanggep kenkuana iti sadinoman, iti entero a rehion ti Galilea.
And his fame went out quickly, throughout the entire region of Galilee.
29 Kalpasan a pimmanawda iti sinagoga, napanda a dagus iti balay da Simon ken Andres, kaduada da Santiago ken Juan.
And soon after departing from the synagogue, they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
30 Ita ti katugangan a babai ni Simon ket agsaksakit ket nakaidda gapu iti gurigor. Dagus nga imbagada ken ni Jesus ti maipanggep kenkuana.
But the mother-in-law of Simon lay ill with a fever. And at once they told him about her.
31 Immay ngarud isuna, iniggamanna dagiti imana, ket binangonna isuna; pinanawan isuna iti gurigor, ket nangrugi isuna a nagserbi kadakuada.
And drawing near to her, he raised her up, taking her by the hand. And immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them.
32 Iti dayta a rabii, kalpasan a limnek ti init, impanda kenkuana dagiti amin a masaksakit wenno linuganan dagiti demonio.
Then, when evening arrived, after the sun had set, they brought to him all who had maladies and those who had demons.
33 Nagguummong ti entero a siudad iti ruangan.
And the entire city was gathered together at the door.
34 Pinaimbagna ti adu nga agsagsagaba iti nadumaduma a kita ti sakit, ken pinaksiatna ti adu a demonio, ngem saanna nga impalubos nga agsao dagiti demonio gapu ta am-ammoda isuna.
And he healed many who were troubled with various illnesses. And he cast out many demons, but he would not permit them to speak, because they knew him.
35 Bimmangon isuna iti nakasapsapa unay kabayatan a nasipnget pay laeng; pimmanaw ket rimuar a napan iti saan a matagtagitao a lugar, ket idiay a nagkararag.
And rising up very early, departing, he went out to a deserted place, and there he prayed.
36 Biniruk isuna da Simon ken dagiti kakadduana.
And Simon, and those who were with him, followed after him.
37 Nasarakanda isuna, ket kinunada kenkuana, “Tunggal maysa ket sapsapulendaka.”
And when they had found him, they said to him, “For everyone is seeking you.”
38 Kinunana, “Mapantayo iti sabali a lugar, kadagiti ili iti aglaw-law, tapno mangasabaak met sadiay. Dayta ti makagapu nga immayak ditoy.
And he said to them: “Let us go into the neighboring towns and cities, so that I may preach there also. Indeed, it was for this reason that I came.”
39 Napan isuna iti amin a paset ti Galilea, nangasaba isuna kadagiti sinagogada ken pinaksiatna dagiti demonio.
And he was preaching in their synagogues and throughout all of Galilee, and casting out demons.
40 Maysa nga agketong ti napan kenkuana; agpakpakaasi kenkuana; nagparintumeng ket kinunana kenkuana, “No pagayatam, mabalinnak a pagbalinen a nadalus.”
And a leper came to him, begging him. And kneeling down, he said to him, “If you are willing, you are able to cleanse me.”
41 Natignay ni Jesus ket naasi, inggaw-atna ti imana ken sinagidna isuna, kinunana kenkuana, “Sipapalubosak. Agbalinka a nadalus.”
Then Jesus, taking pity on him, reached out his hand. And touching him, he said to him: “I am willing. Be cleansed.”
42 Dagus a pimmanaw ti ketong kenkuana, ket nadalusan isuna.
And after he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
43 Siiinget a binallaagan isuna ni Jesus ken pinapanawna a dagus,
And he admonished him, and he promptly sent him away.
44 kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “Siguraduem nga awan ti ibagam iti siasinoman, ngem mapanka, iparangmo ti bagim iti padi, ken idatonmo dagiti banbanag a maipaay iti pannakadalusmo kas iti imbilin ni Moises, kas pammaneknek kadakuada.”
And he said to him: “See to it that you tell no one. But go and show yourself to the high priest, and offer for your cleansing that which Moses instructed, as a testimony for them.”
45 Ngem rimmuar isuna ken inrugina nga imbaga iti amin, ket nagwaras ti damag, isu a saanen a makaapan ni Jesus a siwayawaya iti uray ania nga ili. Nagigian ngarud isuna kadagiti di matagtagitao a disso ket immay kenkuana dagiti tattao manipud iti sadinoman.
But having departed, he began to preach and to disseminate the word, so that he was no longer able to openly enter a city, but had to remain outside, in deserted places. And they were gathered to him from every direction.
