< Malakias 3 >
1 “Kitaem! dandanikon nga ibaon ti mensaherok, ket isaganananto ti dalanko sakbay kaniak. Ken ti Apo a birbirokenyo ket kellaatto nga umay iti templona; ken ti mensahero ti katulagan, a pakaay-aywanyo, kitaenyo, umay isuna,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin.
Behold, I send my agent, and he shall prepare the way before me. And the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple. And the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he comes, says Jehovah of hosts.
2 Ngem siasinonto ti makaibtor iti aldaw ti iyaayna? Ken siasinonto ti makaanus inton agparang isuna? Ta maiyarig isuna iti apuy ti agguggugor, ken kasla sabon a panglaba.
But who can abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like fuller's soap.
3 Agtugawto isuna nga agturay a kasla iti mangguggugor ken mangdaldalus iti pirak, ket dalusanna dagiti annak ni Levi. Dalusannanto ida a kasla balitok ken pirak, ken mangiyegdanto kadagiti daton ti kinalinteg kenni Yahweh.
And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver. And they shall offer to Jehovah offerings in righteousness.
4 Ket makaay-ayonto kenni Yahweh dagiti daton ti Juda ken Jerusalem, kas idi nagkauna nga al-aldaw, ken kas idi nagkauna a panawen.
Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem shall be pleasant to Jehovah, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.
5 Kalpasanna, umayakto kadakayo tapno mangukom. Siakto ti naalibtak a saksi maibusor kadagiti manggagamod, kadagiti mannakikamalala, kadagiti ulbod a saksi, kadagiti manggamgamgam iti tangdan dagiti mangmangged, kadagiti mananggundaway kadagiti balo, kadagiti awan amana, kadagiti mangal-allilaw iti ganggannaet manipud iti karbenganna, ken kadagiti saan nga agraem kaniak,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin.
And I will come near to you to judgment, and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who turn aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says Jehovah of hosts.
6 “Ta Siak ni Yahweh a saan nga agbalbaliw; isu a dakayo a tattao ni Jacob ket saankayo a naibus.
For I, Jehovah, do not change. Therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
7 Sipud pay kadagiti panawen dagiti ammayo, simminakayon manipud kadagiti paglintegak ken saanyo a tinungpal dagitoy. Agsublikayo kaniak, ket agsubliak kadakayo,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin, “Ngem kunayo, 'Kasanokami nga agsubli?'
From the days of your fathers ye have turned aside from my ordinances, and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says Jehovah of hosts. But ye say, How shall we return?
8 Mabalin kadi a takawan ti tao ti Dios? Idinto a taktakawandak. Ngem kunayo, 'Kasano koma a tinakawandaka?' Kadagiti apagkapullo ken kadagiti daton.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye rob me. But ye say, How have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Nailunodkayo, daytoy entero a nasionyo, ta tinakawandak.
Ye are cursed with the curse, for ye rob me, even this whole nation.
10 Iyegyo ti buo nga apagkapullo iti uneg ti balay a pagiduldulinan, tapno adda taraon iti balayko. Ket padasendak ita iti daytoy,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin, “No saanko nga ilukat dagiti tawa ti langit ket ibukbokko kadakayo ti bendision, nga awan iti umdas a siled a pagidulinan iti daytoy.
Bring ye the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now with this, says Jehovah of hosts, if I will not open to you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for it.
11 Lappedakto ti mangib-ibus para kadakayo, tapno saan a dadaelen daytoy ti apit iti dagayo; saan a madadael dagiti bunga iti mulayo nga ubas kadagiti kaubasan sakbay iti umno a tiempo,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, nor shall your vine cast its fruit before the time in the field, says Jehovah of hosts.
12 “Panaganandakayonto dagiti amin a nasion iti nabendisionan; ta agbalinkayonto a naragsak a daga,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin.
And all nations shall call you blessed, for ye shall be a delightful land, says Jehovah of hosts.
13 “Nadagsen dagiti sasaoyo maibusor kaniak,” kuna ni Yahweh. “Ngem kunayo, “Ania ti naibagami maibusor kenka?'
Your words have been stout against me, says Jehovah. Yet ye say, What have we spoken against thee?
14 Kinunayo, 'Awan mamaayna ti panagserbi iti Dios. Ania ti gungguna daytoy kadatayo a nagtungpal kadagiti pagalagadanna wenno nagbiag a silaladingit iti imatang ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God, and what profit is it that we have kept his charge, and that we have walked mournfully before Jehovah of hosts?
15 Ket ita, aw-awagantayo a nagasat dagiti mapagpannakkel. Saan laeng a rumangrang-ay dagiti managdakdakes, ngem susuotenda pay ti Dios ket malusotanda.”'
And now we call the proud happy. Yea, those who work wickedness are built up. Yea, they challenge God, and escape.
16 Kalpasanna, nagsasarita dagiti nagbuteng kenni Yahweh; pinaliiw ken dimngeg ni Yahweh, ket iti imatangna, naisurat ti pakalaglagipan a libro para kadagiti nagbuteng kenni Yahweh ken nangraem iti naganna.
Then those who feared Jehovah spoke one with another, and Jehovah hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him, for those who feared Jehovah, and who thought upon his name.
17 “Kukuakto ida,” kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin amin, “ti napateg a sanikuak, iti aldaw nga agtignayak; ispalekto ida, kas iti panangispal iti maysa a tao iti anakna nga agserserbi kenkuana.
And they shall be mine, says Jehovah of hosts, my own possession, in the day that I make. And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
18 Ket maminsan pay, mailasinyonto ti nalinteg ken nadangkes, dagiti agdaydayaw ken saan nga agdaydayaw iti Dios.
Then ye shall return and discern between the righteous man and the wicked man, between him who serves God and him who does not serve him.
