Lucas 4
1 Ket ni Hesus nga napnoan iti Espiritu Santo, nagsubli manipud Karayan Jordan, ket indalan ti Espiritu idiay let-ang
Now Jesus being full of the holy Spirit, returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being forty days tempted by the devil;
2 iti uppat a pulo nga aldaw ket sinulisog iti diablo sadiay. Kadagita nga al-aldaw, saan isuna nga nangan iti uray ania, ket iti ileleppas ti dayta nga tiempo ket nabisinan isuna.
and He did eat nothing in all those days: and when they were ended, at last He was hungry.
3 Kinuna ti diablo kenkuana, “No sika iti Anak ti Dios, bilinem daytoy a bato nga agbalin nga tinapay.”
And the devil said to Him, If thou art the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.
4 Simmungbat ni Hesus kenkuana, “Isu iti naisurat, 'Saan nga agbiag iti tao iti tinapay laeng.'”
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread only, but on every word of God.
5 Ket inturong ti diablo isuna iti nangato nga lugar, ket iti apagdarikmat a tiempo impakitana amin nga pagarian ti lubong.
And the devil taking Him up into an high mountain, shewed Him all the kingdoms of the world in an instant,
6 Kinuna ti diablo kenkuana, “Itedko kenka iti pannakabalin nga agturay kadagitoy nga pagarian, kasta met dagiti amin a kinadayagda. Kabaelak daytoy agsipud ta naited kaniak dagitoy nga iturayak, ket mabalinko nga ited iti siasinoman nga kayatko a pangtedan.
and said to Him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for it is committed to me, and I give it to whomsoever I will.
7 Isu nga no agrukbabka kaniak ken dayawennak, kukuamto amin dagitoy.”
Therefore, if thou wilt but worship me, they all shall be thine.
8 Ngem simmungbat ni Hesus ket kinunana kenkuana, “Isu iti naisurat, 'Masapul nga dayawem ti Apo a Diosmo, ken isuna laeng ti pagserbiam.'”
And Jesus answering him said with indignation, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.
9 Sumaruno, inturong ti diablo ni Hesus idiay Jerusalem ket impanna iti kangatoan nga tukad ti templo, ket kinunana kenkuana, “No sika iti Anak ti Dios, tumapwakka manipud ditoy.
And he brought Him to Jerusalem, and set him on a battlement of the temple, and said to Him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence;
10 Ta isu iti naisurat, 'Mandaranna dagiti anghelesna nga aywanandaka, nga salaknibandaka.'
for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee,
11 ken, 'Ingatodaka kadagiti im-imada, tapno saanmo nga maitama dagita sakam iti bato.'”
to keep thee, and they shall bear thee up in their hands, least thou dash thy foot against a stone.
12 Simmungbat ni Hesus ket kinunana kenkuana, “Iti naibaga, 'Saan a rumbeng nga suotem ti Apo a Diosmo.'”
And Jesus answered him, it is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
13 Idi nalpas ti diablo iti panangsulisogna ken ni Hesus, pimmanaw isuna ket imbatina isuna agingga iti sumaruno nga tiempo.
And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from Him for a time.
14 Ket nagsubli ni Hesus idiay Galilea nga addaan iti pannakabalin ti Espiritu, ket nagdinnamag ti maipanggep kenkuana iti intero nga aglawlaw nga rehion.
And Jesus returned by the influence of the Spirit into Galilee: and a fame was spread through all the country round about concerning Him:
15 Nangisuro isuna kadagiti sinagogada ket dinaydayaw isuna iti tunggal maysa.
and He taught in their synagogues with universal applause.
16 Iti maysa nga aldaw immay isuna idiay Nazaret, nga siudad a dimmakelanna. Kas iti gagangay nga ugalina, simrek isuna iti sinagoga iti Aldaw a Panaginana, ken timmakder tapno basaenna ti sursurat.
And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and according to his custom He went into the synagogue on the sabbath-day, and stood up to read.
17 Naiyawat kenkuana ti libro ni propeta Isaias, isu nga linukatanna iti libro ket nasarakanna ti nakaisuratan iti,
And there was delivered to Him the book of the prophet Esaias; and opening the book, He found the place where it was written,
18 “Ti Espiritu ti Dios ket adda kaniak, agsipud ta pinulotannak nga mangikasaba iti naimbag nga damag kadagiti marigrigat. Imbaonnak a mangiwaragawag iti pannakawayawaya kadagiti balud, ken pannakaisubli ti panagkita dagiti bulsek, ken mangwayawaya kadagiti maparparigat,
"The spirit of the Lord is upon me to the end, for which He hath anointed me: He hath sent me to publish good tidings to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to release them that are bruised,
19 ken mangiwaragawag iti naparaburan nga tawen ti Apo.”
and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
20 Ket inserrana ti libro, insublina iti agbanbantay ti sinagoga, ken nagtugaw. Dagiti mata dagiti amin nga tattao idiay sinagoga ket nakaturong kenkuana.
And He folded up the book, and gave it again to the minister, and sat down: and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed upon Him.
21 Nangrugi nga agsao kadakuada, “Iti inkayo panagdengngeg, natungpalen daytoy nga sursurat ita nga aldaw.”
And He said unto them, this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
22 Tunggal maysa nga adda sadiay ket naimatanganda ti imbagana ken aminda ket nagsiddaawda kadagiti makaay-ayo nga balikas nga nagtaud iti ngiwatna. Kunkunada, “Anak laeng ni Jose daytoy, saan kadi?”.
And they all bare witness to Him, and wondered at the gracefulness of the words, which proceeded from his mouth, and said, Is not this the son of Joseph?
23 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Sigurado a kunaenyonto daytoy a mamasirib nga sarsarita kaniak, 'Mangngagas, paimbagem ta bagim. Aniaman a nangngegannmi nga inar-aramidmo sadiay Capernaum, aramidem met ditoy ilim.'”
And He said unto them, No doubt ye will apply to me this proverb, "Physician, cure thyself, and do here in thy own country what we have heard were done at Capernaum."
24 Kinunana pay, “Pudno ibagak kadakayo, awan ti propeta nga naawat iti bukodna nga pagilian.
But, said He, indeed I must tell you, that no prophet is well received in his own country.
25 Ngem ibagak kadakayo nga sipupudno nga adu dagiti balo a babbai iti Israel idi panawen ni Elias, idi nagrekep iti langit ket awan pulos ti tudo iti las-ud ti tallo ket kagudua nga tawen, idi adda iti nakaro unay nga panagbisin iti intero nga pagilian.
And I assure you, there were many widows in Israel, in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up for three years and six months, and there was a great famine through all the land;
26 Ngem saan a naibaon ni Elias iti siasinoman kadakuada, no di ket iti maysa laeng nga balo nga agnanaed idiay Zarepat nga asideg iti siudad ti Sidon.
but Elias was sent to none of those widows, but to a widow-woman at Sarepta in the territory of Sidon.
27 Adu met dagiti agketong idiay Israel idi panawen ni Eliseo nga propeta, ngem awan kadakuada iti naimbagan no di laeng ni Naaman nga taga-Siria.”
There were also many lepers in Israel, in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed; but Naaman the Syrian was.
28 Nakapungtot dagiti amin nga tattao idiay sinagoga idi nangngeganda dagitoy a banbanag.
And all the synagogue were filled with rage, when they heard these things,
29 Timmakderda ket pinilitda nga pinapanaw isuna iti siudad, ket impanda iti teppang iti bantay a nakabangonan ti siudadda tapno itinnagda iti derraas.
and they rose up and drove Him out of the city, and dragged Him to the brow of the hill, on which their city was built, in order to throw Him down the precipice.
30 Ngem nagna laeng isuna iti nagbabaetanda ket pimmanaw.
But He passed through the midst of them, and went away.
31 Ket simmalog ni Hesus idiay Capernaum, maysa nga siudad iti Galilea. Maysa nga aldaw iti Panaginana, agisursuro isuna kadagiti tattao iti sinagoga.
And He came down to Capernaum a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath-days,
32 Nagsiddaawda kadagiti sursurona, agsipud ta nagsao isuna nga addaan iti turay.
and they were astonished at his doctrine; for He spake with authority.
33 Iti dayta nga aldaw idiay sinagoga, adda iti maysa nga lalaki nga addaan iti espiritu ti narugit a demonyo, ket impukkawna nga imbaga,
And there was a man in the synagogue possessed by the spirit of an impure demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,
34 “Ania ti pakibianganmi kenka, Hesus nga taga-Nazaret? Immayka kadi nga mangdadael kadakami? Ammok no siasinoka! Sika ti Nasantoan iti Dios!”
saying, Let us alone, what hast thou to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know who thou art, the holy one of God:
35 Tinubngar ni Hesus ti demonio ket kinunana, “Agulimekka ket pumanawka kenkuana!” Idi impuruak ti demonyo iti lalaki idiay nagtetengngaan dagiti tattao, rimuar manipud kenkuana nga dina inan-ano isuna.
but Jesus rebuked him, saying, Be silent, and come out of him. And the demon threw him down in the midst of the assembly, and came out of him, having done him no hurt.
36 Amin dagiti tattao ket kasta unay ti siddaawda ket ti maipanggep iti dayta lattan ti pagsasaritaan iti tunggal maysa. Kunada, “Ania nga kita ti sasao dagitoy? Ta bilinenna dagiti narugit nga espiritu nga addaan turay ken pannakabalin ket rumuarda?”
And they were all amazed, and said one to another, What a speech is this? for with authority and power He commandeth the impure spirits, and they come out!
37 Ket nangrugin nga agdinamag iti amin nga paset iti aglawlaw nga rehion ti maipanggep kenkuana.
And his fame spread all over the country round about.
38 Ket pimmanaw ni Hesus idiay sinagoga ket simrek iti balay ni Simon. Itatta ti katugangan a babai ni imon ket nakaro ti gurigorna, ket nakipakpakaasida ken ni Hesus a maigapu kenkuana.
And He rose up and went out of the synagogue, and came into the house of Simon: now Simon's wife's mother had a violent fever, and they intreated Him on her behalf.
39 Isunga timmakder ni Hesus iti sibayna ket tinubngarna ti gurigor, ket pimmanaw daytoy kenkuana. Dagus isuna nga timmakder ket inrugina nga pinagserbianna ida.
And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever, and it left her: and immediately she arose and waited upon them.
40 Idi lumlumneken ti init, inyeg dagiti tattao ken ni Hesus iti tunggal maysa nga agsaksakit iti nadumaduma nga saksakit. Impatayna ti imana iti tunggal maysa kadakuada ket pinaimbagna ida.
And at sun-set all that had any persons sick of any diseases, brought them to Him: and He laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.
41 Rimmuar met dagiti demonio iti kaaduan kadakuada, agik-ikkis nga kinunada, “Sika iti Anak ti Dios!” Tinubngar ni Hesus dagiti demonio ket linappedanna isuda nga agsao, gapu ta ammoda nga isuna ti Kristo.
And demons also came out from many, crying out, Thou art the Messiah the Son of God. And He rebuked them, and suffered them not to say, that they knew Him to be the Christ.
42 Idi immay ti parbangon, napan ni Hesus iti lugar nga awan matagtagitao. Adu a tattao ti mangbirbiruk kenkuana ket immayda iti disso nga ayanna. Pinadasda nga linapdan ti panangpanawna kadakuada.
And when the day was coming on, He went out and retired into a solitary place; and the people sought for Him, and came to Him, and would fain have detained Him, that He might not go from them.
43 Ngem kinunana kadakuada, “Masapul met nga ikasabak iti naimbag nga damag a maipanggep iti pagarian ti Dios kadagiti dadduma pay nga adu a siudad, gapu ta isu iti nakaibaonak ditoy.”
But He said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
44 Ket intuloyna iti nangasaba kadagiti sinagoga iti intero nga probinsia ti Judea.
So He went on preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
