< Lucas 24 >
1 Iti parbangon ti umuna nga aldaw iti lawas, napanda idiay tanem, intugotda dagiti pabanglo nga insaganada.
But very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb, taking with them the spices that they had prepared.
2 Nakitada nga naitulid diay bato nga naiyadayo idiay tanem.
They found that the stone had been rolled away from the tomb;
3 Simrekda, ngem awan ti nakitada nga bagi ni Apo Hesus.
and, on going into it, they could not find the body.
4 Ti napasamak, kabayatan nga maririribukanda maipanggep iti daytoy, kellaat nga adda dua a lallaki nga nakitakder kadakuada nga nakakawes iti makasisirap a pagan-anay.
While they were at a loss to account for this, all at once two men stood beside them, in dazzling clothing.
5 Kabayatan nga napunno iti buteng dagiti babbai ken iti panagpaklebda iti daga, kinunada kadagiti babbai, “Apay nga birbirukenyo ti sibibiag kadagiti natay?
But, when in their fear the women bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why are you looking among the dead for him who is living?
6 Awan isuna ditoy, ngem ketdi nagungaren! Lagipenyo nu kasano iti pannakitungtongna kadakayo idi adda pay laeng isuna idiay Galilea,
Remember how he spoke to you before he left Galilee –
7 kinunana nga maiyawat ti Anak ti Tao kadagiti im-ima dagiti managbasol nga lallaki ken mailansa iti krus, ket iti maikatlo nga aldaw, ket bumangon manen.”
How he said that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of wicked men, and be crucified, and rise again on the third day.”
8 Nalagip dagiti babbai dagiti sasaona,
Then they remembered the words of Jesus,
9 ket nagsublida manipud tanem ket impadamagda amin dagitoy a banbanag kadagiti sangapulo ket maysa ken kadagiti amin.
and, on returning from the tomb, they told all this to the Eleven and to all the rest.
10 Itatta, ni Maria Magdalena, Juana, Maria nga ina ni Santiago ken dagiti dadduma pay nga babbai nga kaduada, impadamagda dagitoy nga banbanag kadagiti apostol.
There were Mary of Magdala, and Joanna, and Mary, the mother of James. The other women, too, spoke about this to the apostles.
11 Ngem daytoy nga mensahe ket kasla awan serbina nga sarita para kadagiti apostol, ket saanda nga pinati dagiti babbai.
What they said seemed to the apostles mere nonsense, and they did not believe them.
12 Ngem, timmakder ni Pedro, sa nagtaray nga napan idiay tanem, ket nagdumog ken kimmita idiay uneg, ket diay lupot nga linen laeng ti nakitana. Nagawid ni Pedro idiay balayna a masmasdaaw no ania iti napasamak.
13 Iti dayta, dua kadakuada ti mapmapan iti dayta metlaeng nga aldaw idiay baryo a managan Emmaus, nga innem a pulo nga estadia manipud Jerusalem.
It happened that very day that two of the disciples were going to a village called Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem,
14 Pagtungtungtunganda ti maipanggep kadagiti amin nga banbanag a napasamak.
talking together, as they went, about all that had just taken place.
15 Ti napasamak, kabayatan ti pinagtungtungtungda ken pinagdindinnamagda, ket immasideg ni Hesus ken nakikuyog kadakuada.
While they were talking about these things and discussing them, Jesus himself came up and went on their way with them;
16 Ngem dagiti matmatada nalappedan isu nga saanda nga nailasin isuna.
but their eyes were blinded so that they could not recognize him.
17 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Annia ti pagtungtungtunganyo nga dua kabayatan ti pannagnayo?” Ket nagtakderda idiay nga makita a nalidayda.
“What is this that you are saying to each other as you walk along?” Jesus asked. They stopped, with sad looks on their faces,
18 Ket maysa kadakuada a managan Cleopas, iti simmungbat kenkuana, “Apay sika laeng ti tao idiay Jerusalem nga saan a makaammo kadagiti banbanag a napasamak idiay iti napalabas nga al-aldaw?”
and then one of them, whose name was Cleopas, said to Jesus, “Are you staying by yourself at Jerusalem, that you have not heard of the things that have happened there within the last few days?”
19 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Annia nga banbanag?” Insungbatda kenkuana, “Dagiti banbanag nga maipanggep kenni Hesus nga taga-Nazaret nga propeta, mannakabalin iti aramid ken saona iti imatang ti Dios ken iti amin nga tattao.
“What things do you mean?” asked Jesus. “Why, about Jesus of Nazareth,” they answered, “who, in the eyes of God and all the people, was a prophet, whose power was felt in both his words and actions;
20 Ken no kasanu nga inyawat dagiti panguloen ti papadi ken dagiti turay nga maikeddeng a matay ken inlansada.
and how the chief priests and our leading men gave him up to be sentenced to death, and afterward crucified him.
21 Ngem ninamnamami nga isuna ti mangpawayawaya iti Israel. Wen, ken malaksid pay kadagitoy amin, maikatlo itan nga aldaw manipud napasamak dagidiay nga banbanag.
But we were hoping that he was the Destined Deliverer of Israel; yes, and besides all this, it is now three days since these things occurred.
22 Ngem maysa pay, dagiti dadduma a kakaduami nga babbai ket pinagsiddaaw dakami iti ipapan da idiay tanem iti bigbigat.
And what is more, some of the women among us have greatly astonished us. They went to the tomb at daybreak
23 Idi saanda nga nabirukan ti bagina, immayda, ket kinunada pay nga nakitada dagiti anghel iti maysa a sirmata ket inbagada a sibibiag isuna.
And, not finding the body of Jesus there, came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels who told them that he was alive.
24 Dagiti dadduma a kakaduami nga lallaki ket napanda idiay tanem, ket nakitada daytoy a kas iti kinuna dagiti babbai. Ngem saanda nga nakita isuna.”
So some of our number went to the tomb and found everything just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.”
25 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “O maag nga tattao ken nabuntog ti puspusoda nga mamati kadagiti inbaga dagiti propeta!
Then Jesus said to them, “Foolish men, slow to accept all that the prophets have said!
26 Saan aya nga masapul a sagabaen ni Kristo dagitoy nga banbanag, ken sumrekto idiay gloriana?”
Was not the Christ bound to undergo this suffering before entering into his glory?”
27 Ket manipud kenni Moses ken kadagiti amin nga propeta, impalawag ni Hesus kadakuada iti amin a banbanag maipapan kenkuana kadagiti amin nga nasantoan a sursurat.
Then, beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he explained to them all through the scriptures the passages that referred to himself.
28 Kabayatan nga umas-asidegda iti bario nga papananda, nagpammarang ni Hesus nga kasla adayo pay ti papananna.
When they got near the village to which they were walking, Jesus appeared to be going further;
29 Ngem pinilitda isuna, a kinunada, “Makidagus kan kadakami, ta rumabiin ket ti aldaw ket dandanin nga malpas.” Isu nga simrek ni Hesus nga nakidagus kadakuada.
but they pressed him not to do so. “Stay with us,” they said, “for it is getting towards evening, and the sun in already low.” So Jesus went in to stay with them.
30 Ti napasamak, idi nakitugawen isuna kadakuada a mangan, innalana ti tinapay, binendisyonanna, ket iti panangguduana, intedna daytoy kadakuada.
After he had taken his place at the table with them, he took the bread and said the blessing, and broke it, and gave it to them.
31 Ket naluktan dagiti matmatada, nailasinda isuna, ket nagpukaw isuna iti imatangda.
Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him; but he disappeared from their sight.
32 Kinunada iti tunggal maysa, “Saan kadi nga agap-apoy dagiti puspuso nga adda kadatayo, kabayatan nga makitungtungtong kadata idiay dalan, kabayatan nga nilukatanna kadata dagiti nasantoan a surat?”
“How our hearts glowed,” the disciples said to each other, “while he was talking to us on the road, and when he explained the scriptures to us!”
33 Nagrubwatda iti dayta met laeng nga oras ket nagsublida idiay Jerusalem. Nasangpetanda nga naurnong dagiti sangapulo ket maysa ken dagiti kakaduada,
Then they immediately got up and returned to Jerusalem, where they found the Eleven and their companions all together,
34 nga ibagbagada nga, “Ti Apo ket nagungar nga agpayso, ket nagpakita pay kenni Simon.”
who told them that the Master had really risen, and had appeared to Simon.
35 Isunga imbagada dagiti banbanag nga napasamak idiay dalan, ken no kasanu nga naipakita kadakuada ni Hesus babaen iti pannakapisipisi iti tinapay.
So they also related what had happened during their walk, and how they had recognized Jesus at the breaking of the bread.
36 Kabayatan nga ibagbagada dagitoy nga banbanag, nagtakder ni Hesus iti nagtengtengngaanda, ket kinunana kadakuada, “Kapia kuma ti adda kadakayo.”
While they were still talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them.
37 Ngem nakigtotda ken napnoanda iti buteng, ta impagarupda nga nakakitada iti espiritu.
In their terror and alarm they thought they saw a ghost,
38 Kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Apay nga mariribukan kayo? Apay adda rumusing a saludsod dita pusoyo?
but Jesus said to them, “Why are you so startled? And why do doubts arise in your minds?
39 Kitaenyo dagiti imak ken dagiti sakak, siak a mismo daytoy. Sagidendak ket makitayo. Gapu ta ti espiritu ket awan lasag ken tulangna, kas makitayo met nga addaanak.”
Look at my hands and my feet, and you will know that it is I. Feel me, and look at me, for a ghost has not flesh and bones, as you see that I have.”
40 Idi naibagana daytoy, impakitana kadakuada dagiti ima ken dagiti sakana.
41 Kabayatan nga kasta la unay ti ragsakda, ken agsidsiddaawda, kinuna ni Hesus kadakuada, “Adda kadi uray ania nga makanyo?”
While they were still unable to believe it all, overcome with joy, and were wondering if it were true, Jesus said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?”
42 Inikkanda isuna iti tinuno a lames.
They handed him a piece of broiled fish,
43 Innala ni Hesus, ket kinnanna iti imatangda.
and he took it and ate it before their eyes.
44 Kinunana kadakuada, “Idi addaak kadakayo, imbagak kadakayo nga amin nga nakasurat iti linteg ni Moses ken kadagiti insurat dagiti propeta, ken kadagiti Salmo ket masapul nga matungpal.”
“This is what I told you,” he said, “when I was still with you – that everything that had been written about me in the Law of Moses, the prophets, and the Psalms, must be fulfilled.”
45 Kalpasannna, linukatanna dagiti panunotda, tapno maawatanda dagiti nasantoan a sursurat.
Then he enabled them to understand the meaning of the scriptures, saying to them,
46 Kinunana kadakuada, “Kas iti naisurat, masapul nga agsagaba ni Kristo, ken agungar manipud kadagiti natay inton maikatlo nga aldaw.
“Scripture says that the Christ will suffer, and that he will rise again from the dead on the third day,
47 Ket ti panagbabawi ken pannakapakawan dagiti basbasol, masapol a maikasaba babaen iti naganna kadagiti amin a nasyon, nga mangrugi idiay Jerusalem.
and that repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed on his authority to all the nations – beginning at Jerusalem.
48 Dakayo ti testigo kadagitoy nga banbanag.
You yourselves are to be witnesses to all this.
49 Kitaenyo, ibaonko kadakayo ti kari ni Amak. Ngem aguray kayo idiay siyudad, inggana nga makawesan kayo iti pannakabalin nga naggapo idiay ngato.”
And now I am myself about to send you that which my Father has promised. But you must remain in the city until you have been invested with power from above.”
50 Ket inturong ida ni Hesus a rimuar inggana nga makaasidegda idiay Betania. Inngatona dagiti imana, ket binendisionanna ida.
After this, Jesus led them out as far as Bethany, and there raised his hands and blessed them.
51 Ti napasamak, kabayatan ti panangbendisionna kadakuada, imbatina ida ket nabagkat a naipangato idiay langit.
As he was in the act of blessing them, he left them.
52 Ket dinayawda isuna, sada nagsubli idiay Jerusalem nga napalalo ti ragsakda.
They returned to Jerusalem full of joy;
53 Ket tuloytuloy nga addada idiay templo nga nagdaydayaw iti Dios.
and they were constantly in the Temple Courts, blessing God.
