< Lucas 19 >

1 Simrek ni Hesus ken lumablabas idiay Jerico.
So he entered Jericho and was passing through the town.
2 Sadiay, adda iti tao nga managan Zakeo. Isuna ket panguloen dagiti agsingsingir iti buis ken nabaknang.
There was a man there, called Zaccheus, who was a chief of the tax- gatherers, and was wealthy.
3 Padpadasenna nga kitaen no siasino ni Hesus, ngem saanna nga makita ta malingdan iti tallaong, gapu ta bassit isuna iti tayag.
And he kept trying to see what sort of a man Jesus was; but he could not see because he was short.
4 Nagtaray ngarud nga inunaanna dagiti tattao ket kimmalay-at iti maysa nga kayo a sikamoro nga mangkita kenkuana, gapu ta lumabas ni Hesus sadiay.
So he ran on before him and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him; for he was about to pass that way.
5 Idi immayen ni Hesus idiay nga lugar, timmangad ket kinunana kenkuana, “Zakeo, umulog kadta nga dagus, ta ita nga aldaw, masapul nga aggianak idiay balaymo.”
As soon as Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Come down quickly, Zaccheus, for today I must stay at your house."
6 Isunga nagdardaras nga immulog ket sirararag-o nga pinasangbayna isuna.
He made haste to climb down, and receive him joyfully.
7 Idi nakita daytoy dagiti amin, magsitanabutobda a kunada, “Simrek met isuna nga mangbisita iti tao nga managbasol.”
When they all saw it, they began to complain, saying "He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner."
8 Timmakder ni Zakeo ket kinunana iti Apo, “Kitaenyo Apo, kagudua kadagiti sanikuak ket itedko kadagiti napanglaw, ken no bilang man ta adda iti kinusit ko iti aniaman a banag, isublik iti mamin-uppat nga daras iti sigud nga dagupna.”
But Zaccheus stood up and said to the Lord, "I give half my property to the poor, Lord, and if I have defrauded any man of anything I am restoring it to him fourfold."
9 Kinuna ni Hesus kenkuana, “Ita nga aldaw, immay iti pannakaisalakan iti daytoy nga pagtaengan, gapu ta isuna ket anak met ni Abraham.
"Today is salvation come to this house," said Jesus "since Zaccheus here is a son of Abraham.
10 Agsipud ta immay iti Anak ti Tao tapno inna biruken ken isalakan dagiti tattao nga napukaw.”
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save the lost."
11 Kabayatan a nangngeganda dagitoy a banbanag, intuloyna iti nagsao ket imbagana ti maysa nga pangngarig gapu ta asideg isunan idiay Jerusalem, ken pinanunotda nga iti pagarian ti Dios agparangen iti mabiit.
As they were listening to his words he added this parable, because he was near Jerusalem and they thought that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.
12 Isu nga kinunana, “Adda ti maysa nga mararaem nga tao nga napan iti adayo a pagilian tapno inna awaten ti maysa a pagarian ket agsubli kalpasanna.
So he said. "A certain nobleman went abroad to receive for himself royal power and to return.
13 Inayabanna iti sangapulo kadagiti adipenna ket inikkanna ida iti sangapulo nga mina, ken kinunana kadakuada, 'Agnegosyo kayo aginggana nga agsubliak.'
"And he summoned ten slaves of his, and gave them ten pounds, and said to them, "‘Trade with these until I come.’
14 Ngem kagurgura isuna dagiti kailianna, isu nga nangibaonda kadagiti mangibagi kadakuada nga nangsaruno kenkuana, kunada, 'Saanmi nga itulok nga iturayan nakami daytoy nga tao.'
"But this fellow citizens hated him, and sent a deputation after him to say, ‘We do not wish this man to become our king.’
15 Ket napasamak nga idi nagsubli, ta naawatnan iti pagarian, pinaayabanna dagiti adipenna a nangtedanna iti kuarta tapno maammoanna no ania iti ganansia nga naaramidanda iti pinagnegosyoda.
"And upon his return after he had secured the royal power, he ordered the slaves to whom he had given the money to be called in, so that he might know what they had gained by trading.
16 Immay kenkuana ti immuna ket kinunana, 'Apo, ti minam ket nakaaramid iti sangapulo pay nga mina.'
"And the first came before him, saying, ‘Master, your pound has made ten pounds.’
17 Ket kinuna ti mararaem a tao kenkuana, 'Nasayaat ti inaramid mo, naimbag nga adipen. Gapu ta managtungpal ka iti bassit nga banag, iturayam iti sangapulo nga siudad.'
"And he said to him, ‘Well done, good slave! Because you have been faithful in a very little, have authority over ten cities.’
18 Immay ti maikadua ket kinunana, 'Ti minam apo, ket nakaaramid iti lima nga mina.'
"And the second came and said, ‘Master, your pound has made five pounds.’
19 Kinuna ti mararaem a tao kenkuana, 'Iturayam iti lima nga siudad.'
"Then he said to him also, ‘You shall be over five cities.’
20 Ket immay ti sabali pay a kinunana, 'Apo, adtoy ti minam, nga indulin ko a sitatalged iti lupot,
"And the next came to him and said, ‘Here master is your pound which I was keeping safe in a napkin.
21 agsipud ta mabutengak kenka, nalabes ka ngamin nga tao. Alaem dagiti saan mo nga indisso ken apitem ti saan mo nga inmula.'
"‘For I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take what you did not sow.’
22 Kinuna ti mararaem a tao kenkuana, 'Babaen kadagiti sinaom ket ukomenka, sika nga nadakes nga adipen. Ammom met gayam nga nalabesak a tao, ta alaek dagiti saan ko nga indisso, ken apitek uray saan ko nga inmula.
"He said to him, "‘By your own words I will Judge you, you wicked slave. You knew, did you, that I was a hard man taking up what I did not lay down, reaping what I did not sow.
23 Ket apay ngarud ta saan mo nga indulin ti kuartak iti bangko tapno iti panagsublik ket alikumkumek nga adda iti tubuna?'
"‘Then why did you not put my money into the bank, so that at my coming I might I might have gotten it back with interest?’
24 Kinuna ti mararaem nga tao kadagiti nakatakder, 'Alaenyo kenkuana ti mina, ket itedyo iti addaan sangapulo nga mina.'
"Then to those who stood by, he said, ‘Take the pounds from him and give it to him who has ten pounds.’
25 Kinunada kenkuana, 'Apo, adda ti sangapulonan nga mina.'
"‘Master,’ they said to him, ‘he already has ten pounds.’
26 Ibagak kadakayo, nga tunggal maysa nga addaan ket maikkan pay, ngem kenkuana nga awanan, uray ti kakaisuna ket maala pay.
"‘I tell you that to every one who has it shall be given; and from him who has not shall be taken away even what he has.
27 Ngem dagitoy nga kabusorko, dagiti saan nga mangkayat kaniak a mangituray kadakuada, iyegyo isuda ditoy ket patayenyo ida iti sangwanak.'”
"‘Howbeit these enemies of mine who were not willing for me to become their King, bring them here, and slay them in my presence.’"
28 Idi naibaganan dagitoy nga banbanag, immuna isuna nga simmang-at idiay Jerusalem.
When he had so spoken he went on before, going up to Jerusalem.
29 Ket napasamak nga idi umasidegen isuna idiay Betfage ken Betania, idiay bantay nga maawagan ti Olibo, imbaonna iti dua kadagiti adalanna
When he was come near Bethphage and Bethany at the mount called The Olive Orchard,
30 nga kinunana, “Mapan kayo iti sumaruno nga bario. No nakastrek kayon, masarakanyo ti urbon a saan pay namanso. Warwarenyo ti galotna ket iyegyo kaniak.
he sent two of his disciples saying. "Go into the village in the front, and on entering it you will find an ass’s colt tied, on which no one has ever ridden.
31 No adda iti agsaludsod kadakayo, 'Apay ta warwarwarenyo ti galotna?' Ibagayo nga 'Kasapulan ngamin ti Apo.'”
"Untie it and bring it here. And if any one asks you, ‘Why are you untying the colt?’ Simply say, ‘The Master needs it.’"
32 Napan dagiti naibaon ket nasarakanda diay urbon a kas iti imbaga ni Jesus kadakuada.
Then those who were sent out and found it as he had told them.
33 Kabayatan nga warwarwarenda ti galotna, kinuna dagiti akinkukua kadakuada, “Apay ngay ta warwarwarenyo ti galot ti urbon?”
For as they were untying the colt, the owners said to them, "Why are you untying the colt?"
34 Kinunada, “Kasapulan ngamin ti Apo.”
They answered, "The Master needs it."
35 Inyegda daytoy ken ni Jesus ket inyaplagda dagiti kagayda iti likud ti urbon ket pinagsakayda ni Jesus.
So they led it to Jesus, and, after throwing their outer garments on the colt, they placed Jesus on it.
36 Bayat iti ipapanna, inyaplagda dagiti kagayda iti kalsada.
So he rode on, while they kept throwing their garments in the way.
37 Kabayatanna nga umasidegen isuna iti pasalog a paset ti Bantay Olibo, rinugian amin dagiti nakaad-adu nga adalan nga nagrag-o ken nagdayawda iti Dios nga ipukpukkawda dagiti naimatanganda nga aramid a pakakitaan iti pannakabalin,
And when now he was coming near Jerusalem, and descending the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice, and to praise God with a loud voice for the almighty works they had seen.
38 a kunada, “Mabendisionan ti ari nga immay iti nagan ti Apo! Kapia idiay langit ken dayag iti kangatoan!”
They cried, "Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in Heaven and glory in the Highest"
39 Dagiti dadduma a Fariseo nga adda kadagiti nakaad-adu nga tao ket kinunada kenkuana, “Maestro, tubngarem man dagiti adalanmo.”
And some of the Pharisees said to them out of the crowd, "Teacher reprove your disciples!"
40 Simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana, “Ibagak kadakayo, no agtatalna dagitoy, dagiti batbato iti agriyaw.”
"I tell you," he answered, "that if these should hold their peace, the very stones would cry out."
41 Idi asidegen ni Jesus iti siudad, sinangitanna daytoy,
And when he came into view of the city, as he approached it he broke into loud weeping,
42 kunana, “Uray sika, no koma ta naammoam iti daytoy nga aldaw, dagiti banbanag a makaited iti kapia kenka! Ngem ita, nailemmengen dagitoy kadagiti matam.
exclaiming. "Oh that at this time you knew, yes, even you, on what your peace depends! But now it is hidden from your eyes.
43 Ta sumangbay to dagiti aldaw kenka, inton dagiti kabusormo ket mangipatakderda kadagiti barikada iti aglawlawmo, ken palikawkawandaka, ken darupendaka manipud kadagiti amin a sikigan.
"The time will come for you when your enemies will throw ramparts around you, and encompass you, and shut you in on every side, and raze you to the ground,
44 Pak-ulendaka aginggana nga maidasayka ken dagiti annakmo iti daga. Awan ti ibatida nga bato a naituon iti sabali, gapu ta saanmo nga nailasin daytoy idi padpadasen ti Dios nga isalakannaka.”
"you and your children within you. And they will not leave in you one stone upon the another. Because you knew not the time of your visitation."
45 Simrek ni Jesus iti templo ket rinugianna ti nangpatalaw kadagiti aglaklako,
Then Jesus went into the Temple and began to drive out dealers,
46 kinunana kadakadua, “Ti naisurat, 'Ti balay ko ket balay to a pagkararagan,' ngem pinagbalinyo nga rukib dagiti agtatakaw.”
saying, "It is written, "The house of God shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers."
47 Isu nga inaldaw nga nangisuro ni Jesus idiay templo. Kayat isuna nga patayen dagiti panguloen a papadi ken dagiti eskriba ken dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti tattao
Day after day he continued to teach in the Temple. The high priests and scribes tried to have him put to death, so did the rulers of the people.
48 ngem awan ti makitada nga wagas tapno aramiden daytoy, agsipud ta amin dagiti tattao ket sigagagar nga agdengdengngeg kenkuana.
But they could not find how to do it, for the people all hung upon him, listening to him.
