1 No mangidatag ti siasinoman iti ayup a kas daton a para iti panagkakadua manipud kadagiti pangen, kalakian man wenno kabaian, masapul a mangidaton isuna ti ayup nga awan ti mulitna iti sangoanan ni Yahweh.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 Ipatayna ti imana iti ulo ti datonna ken patayenna daytoy iti ruangan ti tabernakulo. Kalpasanna, iwarsi dagiti padi nga annak ni Aaron ti darana kadagiti sikigan iti altar.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 ken dagiti dua a bekkel ken ti taba a kimpet kadagiti lumo, ken ti kasayaatan a paset ti dalem, ken dagiti bekkel— ikkatenna amin dagitoy.
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 Puoran dagiti annak a lallaki ni Aaron dagitoy iti rabaw ti altar agraman dagiti daton a maipuor amin nga adda kadagiti sumsumged a kayo. Mangparnuay daytoy iti nabanglo nga ayamuom a para kenni Yahweh; daton daytoy a maipuor para kenkuana.
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 No ti daton ti tao para iti daton a panakikadua kenni Yahweh ket manipud kadagiti arban; kalakian wenno kabaian, masapul a mangidaton isuna iti daton nga awan ti mulitna.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
7 No urbon a karnero ti idatonna, ket masapul nga idatonna daytoy iti sangngoanan ni Yahweh.
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].

9 Idaton ti tao dagiti daton para iti panagkakadua a kas daton a maipuor para kenni Yahweh. Ti taba, ti entero a nataba nga ipus a naputed iti asideg iti duri, ken ti taba a nangbalkot kadagiti lalaem ken amin dagiti taba nga asideg kadagiti lalaem,
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 ken dagiti dua a bekkel ken dagiti kimpet a taba nga adda kadagitoy nga adda iti lumo ken ti kasasayaatan a paset ti dalem, ken dagiti bekkel-ikatenna amin dagitoy.

11 Ket puoran ti padi amin dagitoy iti rabaw ti altar a kas taraon a daton a maipuor para kenni Yahweh.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
12 Ket no kalding ti idaton ti tao, ket masapul nga idatonna daytoy iti sangoanan ni Yahweh.
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 Masapul nga ipatayna ti imana iti ulo ti kalding ket patayenna iti sangoanan ti tabernakulo. Kalpasanna, iwarsi dagiti annak a lallaki ni Aaron dagiti darana kadagiti sikigan ti altar.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 Idaton ti tao ti datonna a maipuor para kenni Yahweh. Ikkatenna ti taba a nangbalkot kadagiti lalaem ken amin a taba nga adda iti asideg dagiti lalaem.
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 Ikkatenna pay dagiti dua a bekkel ken ti kimpet a taba nga adda kadagiti lumo ken ti kasayaatan a paset ti dalem ken dagiti bekkel.

16 Puoran amin ti padi dagita iti rabaw ti altar a kas taraon a daton a maipuor a mangipaay iti nabanglo nga ayamuom. Amin a taba ket kukua ni Yahweh.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 Agnanayon daytoy a linteg kadagiti amin a henerasion dagiti tattaom iti amin a lugar a pagnaedanyo, a masapul a saankayo a mangan iti taba wenno dara.”'
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
