< Un-unnoy 5 >
1 Lagipem koma, O Yahweh, ti napasamak kadakami. Kitaem ti pannakaibabainmi.
Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2 Naiteden kadagiti ganggannaet dagiti tawidmi; naiteden kadagiti sangsangaili dagiti balbalaymi.
Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3 Nagbalinkamin a bastardo, ta awanen dagiti ammami, ken kasla nabalon dagiti innami.
We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
4 Pirak ti katukad dagiti danum nga inumenmi, ken mailakon kadakami dagiti kayomi.
We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.
5 Kamkamatendakami dagiti kabusormi; asidegdan ket uraymi la marikna ti angesda kadagiti teltelmi. Nabannogkamin; awan inanami.
Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
6 Inggaw-atmi dagiti imami kadagiti taga-Egipto ken kadagiti taga-Asiria tapno ikkandakami iti taraonmi.
We have given the hand [to] the Egyptians, [and to] the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
7 Nagbasol dagiti ammami, ngem awandan, ket dakami ti aglaklak-am kadagiti basolda.
Our fathers have sinned, [and are] not; and we have borne their iniquities.
8 Iturturayandakami dagiti tagabu, ket awan mangispal kadakami manipud kadagiti imada.
Servants have ruled over us: [there is] none that doth deliver [us] out of their hand.
9 Ipuspustami ti biagmi tapno maalami ti tinapaymi iti sangoanan ti kampilan ti let-ang.
We gat our bread with [the peril of] our lives because of the sword of the wilderness.
10 Ti kudilmi ket maiyarig iti maysa a pogon, a nakabarbara gapu iti bisin.
Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.
11 Indaddadanesda dagiti babbai iti Sion, dagiti birhen kadagiti siudad ti Juda.
They ravished the women in Zion, [and] the maids in the cities of Judah.
12 Imbitinda dagiti prinsipe babaen kadagiti mismo nga imada, ken saanda a rinaraem dagiti panglakayen.
Princes are hanged up by their hand: the faces of elders were not honoured.
13 Impanda dagiti babbaro iti balay a paggilingan, ken dagiti agtutubo a lallaki ket marigrigatan nga agbakbaklay kadagiti troso.
They took the young men to grind, and the children fell under the wood.
14 Pinapanawda dagiti panglakayen iti ruangan ti siudad, ken pinapanawda dagiti babbaro manipud iti musikada.
The elders have ceased from the gate, the young men from their musick.
15 Naggibusen ti rag-o iti pusomi; nagbalin a dung-aw ti panagsalsalami.
The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
16 Natinnagen ti korona manipud iti ulomi! Asikami pay! Nagbasolkami gamin!
The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
17 Kimmapsuten dagiti puspusomi, ken nagkudrepen dagiti matami,
For this our heart is faint; for these [things] our eyes are dim.
18 gapu ta agdakdakiwas dagiti atap nga aso idiay Bantay Sion, a nabaybay-an.
Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
19 Ngem sika ni Yahweh; agturayka iti agnanayon, ken adda iti amin a henerasion ti tronom.
Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
20 Apay a lipatennakami iti agnanayon? Agpaut kadi pay ti pananglipatmo kadakami?
Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, [and] forsake us so long time?
21 Pagsubliennakami kenka, O Yahweh, ket agbabawikami. Isublim dagiti al-aldawmi a kas iti kallabes,
Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
22 malaksid a no talaga a binaybay-annakamin ken kasta unay ti pungtotmo kadakami!
But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.
