And after Abimelech, there rose up to save Israel Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar; and he dwelt in Shamir on mount Ephraim.
2 Nagserbi isuna a kas ukom iti Israel iti duapulo ket tallo a tawen. Natay isuna ket naitanem idiay Samir.
And he judged Israel twenty-three years; and he died, and was buried in Shamir.
3 Simmublat kenkuana ni Jair a taga-Galaad. Nagserbi isuna a kas ukom ti Israel iti duapulo ket dua a tawen.
And after him rose up Jair, a Gileadite; and he judged Israel twenty-two years.
4 Addaan isuna iti tallopulo a putot a lallaki nga agsaksakay iti tallopulo nga asno, ken addaanda iti tallopulo a siudad, a maaw-awagan agingga kadagitoy nga aldaw iti Havot-Jair, nga adda iti daga ti Galaad.
And he had thirty sons who rode on thirty ass colts; and they had thirty cities, which are called the villages of Jair to this day, which are in the land of Gilead.

And Jair died, and was buried in Kamon.
6 Ninayunan dagiti tattao ti Israel ti kinadakes nga inaramidda iti imatang ni Yahweh ket nagdaydayawda kadagiti Baal, kadagiti Astarot, kadagiti dios ti Aram, kadagiti dios ti Sidon, kadagiti dios ti Moab ken kadagiti dios dagiti tattao ti Ammon, ken kadagiti dios dagiti Filisteo. And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of Jehovah, and served the Baals, and the Ashtoreths, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines; and they forsook Jehovah, and served him not.
7 Nakapungtot ni Yahweh iti Israel, ket inyawatna ida kadagiti Filisteo ken kadagiti Ammonita, a mangparmek kadakuada.
And the anger of Jehovah was hot against Israel, and he sold him into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the children of Ammon.
8 Pinarmek ken pinarigatda dagiti tattao ti Israel iti dayta a tawen, ken pinarigatda iti las-ud ti sangapulo ket walo a tawen dagiti amin a tattao ti Israel nga adda iti ballasiw ti Jordan iti daga dagiti Ammoreo idiay Galaad.
And they oppressed and crushed the children of Israel in that year; eighteen years [they oppressed] all the children of Israel that were beyond the Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
9 Ket binallasiw dagiti Ammonita ti Jordan tapno makiranget iti Juda, Benjamin, ken iti balay ni Efraim, isu a nakaro ti panagsagaba ti Israel.
And the children of Ammon passed over the Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim; and Israel was greatly distressed.
10 Kalpasanna, immawag dagiti tattao ti Israel kenni Yahweh, a kunada, “Nagbasolkami kenka, gapu ta tinallikudanmi ti Diosmi ket nagdaydayawkami kadagiti Baal.”
And the children of Israel cried to Jehovah, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God, and also served the Baals.
11 Kinuna ni Yahweh kadagiti tattao ti Israel, “Saan kadi a winayawayaankayo manipud kadagiti Egipcio, kadagiti Amorreo, kadagiti Ammonita, kadagiti Filisteo
And Jehovah said to the children of Israel, Did I not [save you] from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?
12 ken kasta met kadagiti Sidonio? Pinarigatnakayo dagiti Amalekita ken dagiti Maonita; immawagkayo kaniak, ket winayawayaankayo manipud iti pannakabalinda.
The Zidonians also, and Amalek and Maon oppressed you, and ye cried to me, and I saved you out of their hand.
13 Ngem tinallikudandak manen ket nagdaydayawkayo kadagiti dadduma a didiosen, Ngarud, saankon a nayonan dagiti tiempo a panangwayawayak kadakayo.
But ye have forsaken me, and served other gods; therefore I will save you no more.
14 Mapankayo ket umawagkayo kadagiti dios a nagdaydayawanyo. Ispalendakayo koma no adda pakarigatanyo.”
Go and cry to the gods that ye have chosen: let them save you in the time of your trouble.
15 Kinuna dagiti tattao ti Israel kenni Yahweh, “Nagbasolkami. Aramidem kadakami no ania ti ammom a nasayaat. Ngem pangngaasim koma laeng, ispalennakami ita nga aldaw.”
And the children of Israel said to Jehovah, We have sinned. Do thou unto us according to all that is good in thy sight; only deliver us, we pray thee, this day.
16 Timmallikudda kadagiti ganggannaet a dios a tinagikuada, ket nagdaydayawda kenni Yahweh. Ket saanna a naibturan ti panagrigrigat ti Israel.
And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served Jehovah; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.
17 Kalpasanna, naguummong dagiti Ammonita ket nagkampoda idiay Galaad. Naguummong dagiti Israelita ket nagkampoda idiay Mizpa.
And the children of Ammon were called together and encamped in Gilead; and the children of Israel gathered together and encamped in Mizpeh.
18 Kinuna dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti tattao ti Galaad iti tunggal maysa, “Siasino ti tao a mangirugi a makiranget kadagiti Ammonita? Isunanto ti mangidaulo kadagiti amin nga agnanaed idiay Galaad.”
And the people, the chief men of Gilead, said one to another, Who is the man that will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? he shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
