< Juan 9 >

1 Ita, kabayatan a lumablabas ni Jesus, nakakita isuna iti maysa a lalaki a bulsek manipud pay idi naiyanak.
And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man who was blind from [his] birth.
2 Dinamag dagit adalanna kenkuana, “Rabbi, siasino kadi ti nagbasol, daytoy kadi a lalaki wenno dagiti nagannakna, nga isuna ket naiyanak a bulsek?”
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who sinned, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Simmungbat ni Jesus, “Saan a nagbasol daytoy a lalaki uray pay dagiti nagannakna, ngem gapu ti dayta, dagiti aramid ti Dios ket maipakita kenkuana.
Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 Masapul nga aramidentayo dagiti trabaho ti nangibaon kaniak kabayatan nga aldaw pay laeng. Umayen ti rabii ket awan ti makabael nga agtrabaho.
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh when no man can work.
5 Kabayatan nga addaak ditoy lubong, siak ti silaw ti lubong.”
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 Kalpasan nga imbaga ni Jesus dagitoy a banbanag, nagtupra isuna iti daga, nangaramid isuna iti pitak nga adda tuprana ken pinulotanna ti mata ti lalaki iti pitak,
When he had thus spoken, he spit on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,
7 Imbagana kenkuana, “Mapanka, agbuggoka idiay pagdigusan idiay Siloam, (naipatarus nga “ibaon”). Pimmanaw ngarud ti lalaki, nagbuggo ken nagsubli a makakitan.
And said to him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went therefore, and washed, and came seeing.
8 Kalpasanna, ibagbaga dagiti kaaruba iti lalaki a nakakita idi kenkuana nga agpalpalama, “Saan kadi a daytoy a lalaki ket ti sigud nga agtugtugaw ken agpalpalama?”
The neighbors therefore, and they who before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?
9 Ibagbaga dagiti dadduma, “Wen, isuna dayta.” Ngem ibagbaga met dagiti dadduma, “Saan, kasla laeng isuna dayta.” Ngem ibagbagana, “Siak daydiay.”
Some said, This is he: others [said], He is like him: [but] he said, I am [he].
10 Imbagada kenkuana, “Kasano ngarud a nalukatan dagiti matam?”
Therefore they said to him, How were thy eyes opened?
11 Simmungbat isuna, “Nangaramid iti pitak ti lalaki nga agnagan iti Jesus ken pinulotanna dagiti matak ken imbagana kaniak, 'Mapanka idiay Siloam ken agbuggoka'. Isu a napanak ken nagbuggoak, ket nagsublin dagiti panagkitak.”
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus, made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
12 Imbagada kenkuana, “Sadino ti ayanna?” Simmungbat isuna, “Saanko nga ammo.”
Then said they to him, Where is he? He said, I know not.
13 Impanda ti lalaki a sigud a bulsek iti ayan dagiti Fariseo.
They brought to the Pharisees him that before was blind.
14 Ita, Aldaw a Panaginana idi nangaramid ni Jesus iti pitak ken idi linukatanna dagiti mata ti lalaki.
And it was the sabbath when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15 Ket dinamag manen dagiti Fariseo no kasano a naawatna ti panagkitana. Imbaga iti lalaki kadakuada, “Inikkanna ti pitak dagiti matak, nagbugguak, ket makakita akun ita.”
Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said to them, He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed, and do see.
16 Imbaga dagiti dadduma a Fariseo, “Saan a nagtaud iti Dios daytoy a lalaki gapu ta saanna a sinalimetmetan ti Aldaw a Panaginana.” Kinuna dagiti dadduma, “Kasano a ti maysa a tao a managbasol ket makaaramid iti kasta a pagilasinan?” Ngarud, adda ti panagsisina kadakuada.
Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not from God, because he keepeth not the sabbath. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
17 Isu a dinamagda manen ti bulsek a lalaki, “Ania ti maibagam maipapan kenkuana gapu ta linukatanna dagiti matam?” Kinuna ti bulsek a lalaki, “Profeta isuna.”
They say to the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thy eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
18 Ita, saan latta a namati dagiti Judio iti maipapan iti lalaki a sigud a bulsek ken nakaawat ti panagkitana, aginggana a pinaayabanda dagiti nagannak iti lalaki a nakaawat ti panagkita.
But the Jews did not believe concerning him that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
19 Dinamagda dagiti nagannakna, “Daytoy kadi ti anakyo nga ibagbagayo a naiyanak a bulsek? Kasano a makakitan isuna ita?”
And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
20 Simmungbat ngarud dagiti nagannakna kadakuada, “Ammomi a daytoy ti anakmi ken naiyanak isuna a bulsek.
His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
21 Saanmi nga ammo no kasano a makakitan isuna ken saanmi met nga ammo no siasino ti nanglukat kadagiti matana. Damagenyo kenkuana. Nataenganen isuna. Kabaelannan ti agsao para iti bagina.”
But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he will speak for himself.
22 Imbaga dagiti nagannakna dagitoy a banbanag gapu ta mabutengda kadagiti Judio. Ta nalpasen a nagtutulag dagiti Judio a mapapanaw iti sinagoga ti siasinoman a mangibaga a ni Jesus ket Cristo.
These [words] his parents spoke, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man confessed that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Gapu iti daytoy, imbaga dagiti nagannakna, “Nataenganen isuna. Damagenyo kenkuana.”
Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
24 Isunga iti maikadua a daras, pinaayabanda manen ti lalaki a sigud a bulsek ket kinunada kenkuana, “Itedmo ti dayag iti Dios. Ammomi a daytoy a tao ket managbasol.”
Then again they called the man that was blind, and said to him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 Ket simmungbat dayta a lalaki, “Saanko nga ammo no managbasol isuna. Ngem daytoy ti ammok: Bulsekak idi ngem makakita akun ita.”
He answered and said, Whether he is a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that whereas I was blind, now I see.
26 Kalpasanna imbagada kenkuana, “Ania ti inaramidna kenka? Kasano a linukatanna dagiti matam?”
Then they said to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thy eyes?
27 Simmungbat isuna, “Imbagakon kadakayo ket saanyo kayat a dinggen. Apay ta kayatyo manen a mangngeg? Saanyo met a kayat ti agbalin nga adalanna, kayatyo kadi?
He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: Why would ye hear [it] again? will ye also be his disciples?
28 Nakaungetda kenkuana ket kinunada, “Adalannaka ngem sikami ket adalan ni Moises.
Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are the disciples of Moses.
29 Ammomi a nakitungtong ti Dios kenni Moises ngem daytoy a tao, saanmi pay ammo no sadino ti naggapuanna.”
We know that God spoke to Moses: [as for] this [man], we know not whence he is.
30 Simmungbat ti lalaki ken kinunana kadakuada, “Apay, nakakaskasdaaw daytoy a banag, a saanyo nga ammo no sadinno ti naggapuanna ngem nilukatanna dagiti matak.
The man answered and said to them, Why, herein is a marvelous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and [yet] he hath opened my eyes.
31 Ammotayo a saan a dingdinggen ti Dios dagiti managbasol, ngem no ti siasinoman ket agrukrukbab iti Dios ken ar-aramidenna ti pagayatan iti Dios, dingdinggen isuna ti Dios.
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man is a worshiper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
32 Manipud pay idi nairugi ti lubong saan pay pulos a nangngeg nga adda ti siasinoman a nanglukat iti mata iti tao a naiyanak a bulsek. (aiōn g165)
Since the world began hath it not been heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. (aiōn g165)
33 No daytoy a tao ket saan a nagtaud iti Dios, awan koma ti maaramidanna.
If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.
34 Simmungbatda ket kinunada kenkuana, “Dakayo a sangkamaysa ket naiyanak iti basbasol ket tatta isursurona kami?” Kalpasanna, pinapanawda isuna iti sinagoga.
They answered and said to him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? and they cast him out.
35 Nangngeg ni Jesus a pinapanawda isuna iti sinagoga. Nabirukanna isuna ket kinunana kenkuana, “Mamatika kadi iti Anak iti Tao?”
Jesus heard that they had cast him out: and when he had found him, he said to him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 Simmungbat isuna ken kinunana, “Sino kadi isuna, Apo, tapno mamatiak met kenkuana?”
He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I may believe on him?
37 Kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “Nakitamon isuna ken ti makitungtungtong kenka ket isuna.
And Jesus said to him, thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 Kinuna iti lalaki, “Apo, mamatiak.” Kalpasanna nagrukbab isuna kenkuana.
And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him.
39 Kinuna ni Jesus, “Gapu ti panangukom isu nga immayak ditoy lubong tapno makakita dagiti saan a makakita ken agbalin a bulsek dagiti makakita.”
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they who see not, may see; and that they who see, may be made blind.
40 Nangngeg dagiti dadduma a Fariseo a kaduana dagitoy a banbanag ket dinamagda isuna, “Bulsekkami met kadi?”
And [some] of the Pharisees who were with him heard these words, and said to him, Are we blind also?
41 Imbaga ni Jesus kadakuada, “No bulsek kayo, awan koma ti basolyo. Nupay kasta, ita ibagbagayo, 'Makakita kami,' isu nga agtalinaed ti basolyo.”
Jesus said to them, If ye were blind, ye would have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.
