< Juan 7 >
1 Kalpasan dagitoy a banbanag, nagdaliasat ni Jesus idiay Galilea ta saanna a kayat ti mapan idiay Judea agsipud ta agar-aramid iti plano dagiti Judio a papatayen isuna.
After these things, Yeshua was walking in Galilee, for he wouldn’t walk in Judea, because the Judeans sought to kill him.
2 Ita asidegen ti fiesta dagiti Judio, ti Fiesta dagiti Abong-abong.
Now the Jewish festival, the Feast of Sukkot, was at hand.
3 Kinuna ngarud kenkuana dagiti kakabsatna a lallaki, “Panawam daytoy a lugar ket mapanka idiay Judea tapno makita met dagiti adalam dagiti ar-aramidem.
His brothers therefore said to him, “Depart from here and go into Judea, that your disciples also may see your works which you do.
4 Awan iti mangaramid iti aniaman a banag nga nalimed no kayatna a nalatak a maam-amo isuna. No aramidem dagitoy a banbanag, ipakitam ti bagim iti lubong.”
For no one does anything in secret while he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world.”
5 Ta uray dagiti kakabsatna a lallaki ket saan a namati kenkuna.
For even his brothers didn’t believe in him.
6 Gapuna kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Saan pay a dimteng ti oras ko ngem kankanayon a nakasagana iti orasyo.
Yeshua therefore said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.
7 Saannakayo a kagura ti lubong, ngem siak kagurana agsipud ta pinaneknekak a dagiti aramidna ket dakes.
The world can’t hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.
8 Sumang-at kayo iti fiesta; saan pay a nadanon iti tiempok isu a saanak nga umay iti daytoy a fiesta.
You go up to the feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled.”
9 Nagtalinaed isuna idiay Galilea kalpasan nga imbagana dagitoy kadakuada.
Having said these things to them, he stayed in Galilee.
10 Nupay kasta, kalpasan a simmang-at iti fiesta dagiti kakabsatna, simmang-at met laeng isuna ngem saan a nalatak ngem sililimed.
But when his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
11 Sapsapulen dagiti Judio isuna iti fiesta ket kinunada, “Sadino isuna?”
The Judeans therefore sought him at the feast, and said, “Where is he?”
12 Nagado iti panaglilinnawag dagiti tattao maipanggep kenkuana sadiay. Sumagmamano iti nagkuna, “Nasayaat a tao isuna.” Kinuna iti dadduma, “Saan ta inyaw-awanna dagiti tattao.”
There was much murmuring amongst the multitudes concerning him. Some said, “He is a good man.” Others said, “Not so, but he leads the multitude astray.”
13 Awan iti nagsao iti nalatak maipanggep kenkuana gapu iti butengda kadagiti Judio.
Yet no one spoke openly of him for fear of the Judeans.
14 Idin ta malpas ti kagudua iti fiesta, immuli ni Jesus iti templo ket nangrugi a nangisursuro. Masmasdaaw dagiti Judio ket ibagbagada,
But when it was now the middle of the feast, Yeshua went up into the temple and taught.
15 “Kasano nga adu iti ammona daytoy a tao ket saan met a nakaadal.”
The Judeans therefore marvelled, saying, “How does this man know letters, having never been educated?”
16 Simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana kadakuada, “Saanko a kukua ti isursurok ngem ketdi isuna a nangibaon kaniak.”
Yeshua therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.
17 No adda ti siasinoman nga agtarigagay a mangaramid iti pagayatan iti maysa, ammona iti kaipapanan dagitoy a sursuro, ammoenna no naggapu iti Dios, wenno nagsaoak iti bagik.
If anyone desires to do his will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is from God or if I am speaking from myself.
18 Ti siasinoman nga agsasao iti bukodna, birbirukenna ti bukodna a dayag, ngem ti tao a mangbirbirok iti dayag iti nangibaon kenkuana, pudno dayta a tao ken awan iti saan a nalinteg kenkuana.
He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
19 Saan kadi a ni Moises ti nangted kadakayo iti linteg? Ngem awan kadakayo iti mangar-aramid iti linteg. “Apay a kayatdak a papatayen?”
Didn’t Moses give you the Torah, and yet none of you keeps the Torah? Why do you seek to kill me?”
20 Simmungbat dagiti tattao, “Adda kaniam iti demonio, siasino iti mangayat a mangpapatay kenka?”
The multitude answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill you?”
21 Simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinuna kadakuada, “Nagaramidak iti maysa nga aramid ket nasdaaw kayo amin gapu iti daytoy.
Yeshua answered them, “I did one work and you all marvel because of it.
22 Inted ni Moises kadakayo iti pannakakugit ( saan nga naggapo ken Moises ngem kadagiti kapuonan) ket mangkugit kayo iti maysa a lalaki iti Aldaw a Panaginana.
Moses has given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a boy.
23 No makaawat ti pannakakugit ti lalaki iti Aldaw a Panaginana tapno saan a maburak iti linteg ni Moises. Apay a makaungetkayo kaniak no inaramid ko a naan-anay a naagasan ti lalaki iti Aldaw a Panaginana?
If a boy receives circumcision on the Sabbath, that the Torah of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with me because I made a man completely healthy on the Sabbath?
24 Saankayo a mangukom a maiyanatup iti akin ruar a langa, ngem mangukomkayo iti nalinteg.”
Don’t judge according to appearance, but judge righteous judgement.”
25 Kinuna dagiti sumagmamano kadakuada a manipud iti Jerusalem, “Saan kadi a daytoy a lalaki ti birbirukenda a papatayen?
Therefore some of them of Jerusalem said, “Isn’t this he whom they seek to kill?
26 Ket kitaenyo, agsao isuna a silalatak, ken awan maibagada kenkuana. Saan a mabalin a pudno unay nga ammo dagiti mangiturturay a daytoy ket ti Cristo, mabalin kadi?
Behold, he speaks openly, and they say nothing to him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is truly the Messiah?
27 Ammotayo iti naggapuan daytoy a tao, no umay ti Cristo awan ti makaammo no sadino ti paggapuanna.”
However, we know where this man comes from, but when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he comes from.”
28 Agpukpukkaw a mangisursuro ni Jesus idiay templo, ken ibagbagana, “Agpada nga am-ammodak ken ammoyo no sadino ti naggapuak, saanak nga immay iti bukodko laeng, ngem pudno iti nangibaon kaniak ken saanyo isuna nga am-ammo.
Yeshua therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, “You both know me, and know where I am from. I have not come of myself, but he who sent me is true, whom you don’t know.
29 Am-ammok isuna gapu ta naggapuak kenkuana ken imbaonnak.”
I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”
30 Padpadasenda a tiliwen isuna, ngem awan uray maysa a nangipatay iti imana kenkuana agsipud ta saan pay nga immay iti orasna. Nupay kasta, adu kadagiti tattao ti namati kenkuana, kinunada,
They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.
31 “Inton umay ti Cristo agaramidto met ngata isuna kadagiti ad- adu a pagilasinan ngem kadagiti inaramid daytoy a tao?”
But of the multitude, many believed in him. They said, “When the Messiah comes, he won’t do more signs than those which this man has done, will he?”
32 Nangngeg dagiti Fariseo nga agiinnarasaas dagiti tattao kadagitoy a banbanag maipapan ken Jesus. Nangibaon dagiti panguloen a papadi ken dagiti Fariseo kadagiti opisial tapno tiliwenda isuna.
The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him, and the chief priests and the Pharisees sent officers to arrest him.
33 Kinuna ngarud ni Jesus, “Iti ababa a panawen, addaak pay laeng kadakayo, ken mapanakto kenkuana a nangibaon kaniak.
Then Yeshua said, “I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.
34 Birukendakto ngem saandak a masarakan, saankayonto a makaumay idiay papanak.”
You will seek me and won’t find me. You can’t come where I am.”
35 Ibagbaga ngarud dagiti Judio kadagiti bagbagida, “Papanan ngata daytoy a lalaki a saan tayonto isuna a mabirukan. Mapan ngata kadagiti Naiwaras a Griego ken mangisuro kadakuada?
The Judeans therefore said amongst themselves, “Where will this man go that we won’t find him? Will he go to the Diaspora amongst the Greeks and teach the Greeks?
36 Ania daytoy nga imbagana, 'Birukendakto ngem saandak a masarakan, saankayonto a makaumay idiay papanak'?”
What is this word that he said, ‘You will seek me, and won’t find me;’ and ‘Where I am, you can’t come’?”
37 Ita ti maudi nga aldaw, ti naindaklan nga aldaw iti fiesta, nagtakder ni Jesus ken ipukpukkawna, “No adda ti siasinoman a mawaw, palubusanyo nga umay kaniak ket uminom.
Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Yeshua stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!
38 Ti siasinoman a mamati kaniak kas imbaga iti Nasantoan a Surat, manipud iti unegna, agayos dagiti karkarayan iti sibibiag a danum.”
He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”
39 Ngem imbaga ni Jesus daytoy maipapan iti Espiritu, nga awaten dagiti namati kenkuana ngem saan pay a naited ti Espiritu agsipud ta saan pay a napadayawan ni Jesus.
But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Yeshua wasn’t yet glorified.
40 Kinuna dagiti sumagmamano kadagiti tattao idi nangngegda dagitoy a sasao, “Daytoy iti pudno a profeta.”
Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard these words, said, “This is truly the Prophet.”
41 Kinuna met iti sumagmamano a, “Daytoy iti Cristo.” Ngem kinuna met dagiti dadduma “Ania, aggapu kadi iti Galilea ti Cristo?
Others said, “This is the Messiah.” But some said, “What, does the Messiah come out of Galilee?
42 Saan kadi nga imbaga iti Nasantoan a Surat nga agtaud iti Cristo iti linya ni David, idiay Betlehem a bario ni David idi?”
Hasn’t the Scripture said that the Messiah comes of the offspring of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”
43 Isu a rimsua ngarud iti panagsisina kadagiti adu a tattao gapu kenkuana.
So a division arose in the multitude because of him.
44 Tiliwen koma iti sumagmamano isuna, ngem awan uray maysa a nangipatay iti im-imada kenkuana.
Some of them would have arrested him, but no one laid hands on him.
45 Nagsubli dagiti opisyal kadagiti panguloen a papadi ken kadagiti Fariseo a nangibaga kadakuada,
The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said to them, “Why didn’t you bring him?”
46 “Apay a saanyo isuna nga inyeg,” Simmungbat dagiti opisyal, “Awan pay pulos idi ti tao a nagsao kas iti daytoy.”
The officers answered, “No man ever spoke like this man!”
47 Simmungbat ngarud dagiti Fariseo kadakuada, “Naiyaw-awankayo kadi met?
The Pharisees therefore answered them, “You aren’t also led astray, are you?
48 Adda kadi siasinoman kadagiti agtuturay wenno siasinoman a Fariseo ti namati kenkuana?
Have any of the rulers or any of the Pharisees believed in him?
49 Ngem nailunod dagitoy a tattao a saan a makaammo iti linteg.”
But this multitude that doesn’t know the Torah is cursed.”
50 Kinuna ni Nicodemo kadakuada, ( isuna a napan ken Jesus iti nasapsapa, maysa isuna kadagiti Fariseo),
Nicodemus (he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them,
51 “Mangukom kadi iti lintegtayo iti tao malaksid a mangngegan isuna nga umuna wenno maammoan iti inaramidna?”
“Does our Torah judge a man unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?”
52 Simmungbatda ket kinunada kenkuana, “Maysaka kadi met a taga Galilea? Sukimatem ket makitam nga awan iti profeta nga aggapu iti Galilea.”
They answered him, “Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”
53 Kalpasanna, napan iti tunggal maysa iti bukodna a balay.
Everyone went to his own house,
