< Juan 2 >

1 Kalpasan ti tallo nga aldaw, adda ti kasaran idiay Cana iti Galilea, adda sadiay ti ina ni Jesus.
And, on the third day, a marriage, took place, in Cana, of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there, —
2 Naawis ni Jesus agraman dagiti adalanna iti kasaran.
and Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, unto the marriage.
3 Idi naibus ti arak, imbaga iti ina ni Jesus kenkuana, “Awanen ti arakda.”
And, wine falling short, the mother of Jesus saith unto him—Wine, have they none!
4 Simmungbat ni Jesus, “Babai, ania ti maaramidak iti dayta? Saan pay a dimteng ti tiempok.”
And Jesus saith unto her—What part can I take with thee, O woman? Not yet, hath come, mine hour.
5 Imbaga ti ina ni Jesus kadagiti adipen, “Aramidenyo ti aniaman nga ibagana kadakayo.”
His mother saith unto them who are ministering—Whatsoever he may say to you, do!
6 Ita, adda ti innem a burnay nga ar-aramaten dagiti Judio maipaay iti seremonia iti pannakaugas, ti maysa a burnay ket makaanay iti 80-120 a litro.
Now there were there, six stone water-vessels, placed, according to the purification of the Jews; holding each, two or three measures.
7 Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Punnoenyo iti danum dagiti burnay.” Pinunnoda ngarud dagitoy inggana iti ngarab.
Jesus saith unto them—Fill the vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 Ket imbagana kadagiti adipen, “Mangalakayo itan iti sumagmamano ket iruaryo ken ipanyo daytoy iti mangidadaulo kadagiti mangidasdasar.” Isu ngarud ti inaramidda.
And he saith unto them—Draw out now, and be bearing unto the master of the feast. And they bare.
9 Rinamanan iti mangidadaulo kadagiti mangidasdasar ti danum a nagbalin nga arak, ngem saanna nga ammo no sadino ti naggapuan iti daytoy (ngem ammo daytoy dagiti adipen a nangikabil iti danum).
And, when the master of the feast had tasted the water, now made, wine, and knew not whence it was, —though, they who were ministering, knew, even they who had drawn out the water, the master accosteth the bridegroom,
10 Ket inayabanna ti nobio ket kinunana kenkuana, “Idasar nga umuna iti tunggal lalaki ti kasasayaatan nga arak ken sumaruno ti kalakaan nga arak no nabartek aminen dagiti tattao. Ngem agingga ita, induldulinmo pay laeng iti kasasayaatan nga arak.”
and saith unto him—Every man, first the good wine, setteth out; and, when they had been well-supplied, the inferior: —Thou, hast kept the good wine until, even now.
11 Daytoy a milagro idiay Cana iti Galilea ket ti nangrugian iti panagaramid ni Jesus kadagiti nakaskasdaaw a pagilasinan, daytoy ti nangipakita ti dayagna isu a namati kenkuana dagiti adalanna.
This, beginning of his signs, did Jesus, in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 Kalpasan daytoy, simmalog ni Jesus, ti inana, dagiti kakabsatna a lallaki ken dagiti adalanna idiay Capernaum. Nagtalinaedda sadiay iti sumagmamano nga al-aldaw.
After this, he came down into Capernaum, —he, and his mother and brethren, and his disciples; and, there, they abode, not many days.
13 Ita, umadanin ti Ilalabas dagiti Judio, isu a simmang-at ni Jesus idiay Jerusalem.
And, near, was the passover of the Jews; and, Jesus, went up unto Jerusalem.
14 Nakitana idiay templo dagiti aglalako iti baka, karnero ken dagiti kalapati. Agtugtugaw met sadiay dagiti agsuksukat iti kuarta.
And he found, in the temple, them that were selling oxen and sheep and doves, also the money-changers sitting.
15 Nangaramid ngarud ni Jesus iti pagbaut a tali ket pinatalawna amin ida iti templo, agraman dagiti baka ken karnero. Imbukbokna dagiti kuarta dagiti agsuksukat iti kuarta ken binalintuagna dagiti lamisaanda.
And, making a scourge out of rushes, all of them, thrust he forth out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and, the money-changers’ small coins, poured he forth, and, the tables, he overturned;
16 Kinunana kadagiti aglaklako iti kalapati, “Ipanawyo dagitoy a banbanag ditoy. Isardengyo ti panangar-aramid a pagtagilakoan iti balay ti Amak.”
and unto them who were selling, the doves, he said—Take these things hence! Be not making, the house of my Father, a house of merchandise.
17 Nalagip dagiti adalanna a naisurat, “Kasla gumilgil-ayab nga apoy ti panagayat ko iti balaymo.”
His disciples remembered that it was written—The zeal of thy house, eateth me up.
18 Simmungbat dagiti mangiturturay a Judio ket kinunada kenkuana, “Ania a pagilasinan ti ipakitam kadakami agsipud ta ar-aramidem dagitoy a banbanag?”
The Jews therefore answered, and said unto him, What sign, dost thou point out to us, in that, these things, thou doest?
19 Simmungbat ni Jesus, “Dadaelenyo daytoy a templo ket bangonekto kalpasan iti tallo nga aldaw.”
Jesus answered, and said unto them—Take down this shrine, and, in three days, will I raise it.
20 Ket kinuna dagiti mangiturturay a Judio, “Naibangon daytoy a templo iti las-ud iti uppat a pulo ket innem a tawen, ngem bangonemto iti las-ud iti tallo nga aldaw?”
The Jews, therefore, said—In forty and six years, was this shrine built. And, thou, in three days, wilt raise it!
21 Nupay kasta, ti sarsaritaen ni Jesus ket maipapan iti templo iti bagina.
But, he, was speaking concerning the shrine of his body.
22 Isunga idi nagungar isuna manipud iti patay, nalagip dagiti adalanna nga imbagana daytoy ket namatida iti Nasantoan a Surat ken iti imbaga ni Jesus.
When, therefore, he had been raised from among the dead, his disciples remembered, that, this, he had been saying; and they believed in the Scripture, and in the word which Jesus had spoken.
23 Ita, idi adda isuna idiay Jerusalem kabayatan iti fiesta iti Ilalabas, adu ti namati iti naganna idi nakitada dagiti nakaskasdaaw a pagilasinan nga inaramidna.
Now, when he was in Jerusalem, during the passover, during the feast, many, believed on his name, viewing his signs which he was doing.
24 Ngem ammo ni Jesus dagiti amin a tattao isu a saanna ida a pinagtalkan.
Jesus himself, however, was not trusting himself unto them, by reason of his understanding them all,
25 Saanna a masapul ti siasinoman nga agsaksi kenkuana maipapan no ania a kita dagiti tattao gapu ta ammona no ania ti adda kadakuada.
and because he had, no need, that anyone should bear witness concerning man; for, he, understood what was in man.
