< Juan 13 >

1 Tatta sakbay iti Fiesta ti Ilalabas, gapu ta ammo ni Jesus nga immayen iti orasna a masapul a pumanawen isuna iti daytoy a lubong a mapan iti Ama, nga inay-ayatna ti bukodna nga adda iti lubong, inayatna isuda aginga iti panungpalan.
Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus knew that his hour had come that he must go out of this world to his Father; and having loved his own that were in the world, he loved them to the end.
2 Tatta naikabelen daytoy ti diablo iti puso ni Judas Iscariote, nga anak a lalaki ni Simon, tapno liputanna ni Jesus.
And supper being over, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to deliver him up,
3 Ammon ni Jesus nga inted ti Ama amin nga banbanag kadagiti imana ken naggapu isuna manipud iti Dios ken agsubli iti Dios.
Jesus, knowing that the Father had delivered all things into his hands, and that he had come from God, and was going to God,
4 Timmakder isuna manipud iti pangrabii ken indissuna ti makinrabaw a kawesna. Ket nangala isuna iti tualia ket inbalabalna iti bagina.
arose from supper, and laid aside his garments, and taking a towel, he girded himself.
5 Ket nangibukbok isuna iti danom iti palanggana ket rinugiananna a bugwan dagiti saksaka dagiti adalan ken tapno punasanna isuda iti tualia a naibalabal kenkuana.
Then he poured water into a basin, and began to wash his disciples feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded.
6 Napan isuna ken ni Simon Pedro, ket kinuna ni Pedro kenkuana, “Apo, umaymo kadi bugwan dagiti sakak?”
Then he came to Simon Peter; and Peter said to him: Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
7 Simmungbat ni Jesus ket kinunana kenkuana, “no ania iti ar-aramidek ket saanmo pay a maawatan ita, ngem maawatamto daytoy.”
Jesus answered and said to him: What I am doing you know not now, but you will know hereafter.
8 kinuna ni Pedro kenkuana, “saanmonto a mabuguan a pulos dagiti sakak.” Simmungbat ni Jesus kenkuana, “no saanka a bugwan, maawananka iti paset kaniak.” (aiōn g165)
Peter said to him: Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him: Unless I wash you, you have no part with me. (aiōn g165)
9 Kinuna ni Simon Pedro kenkuana, “Apo, saan laeng nga iti sakak iti bugwam, ken uray pay dagiti imak ken ti ulok.”
Simon Peter said to him: Lord, not my feet only, but my hands and my head.
10 Kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “siasinoman a nakadigosen ket saan a mabugwan iti aniaman kenkuana malaksid kadagiti sakana, ket naan-anayen iti pannakadalusna, nadaluskayon, ngem saan a dakayo amin.”
Jesus said to him: He that has bathed needs nothing else save to wash his feet, but is wholly clean. And you are clean, but not all.
11 Ta ammon ni Jesus no siasino iti mangliput kenkuana; nga no apay a kinunana a, “saan nga amin kadakayo ket nadalus.”
For he knew who would deliver him up; for this reason he said, You are not all clean.
12 Idi nabugwanen ni Jesus dagiti sakada ket innalana dagiti lupotna ken nagtugaw manen, kinunana kadakuada, “ammoyo kadi no ania iti inaramidko kadakayo?
Therefore, when he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, he reclined at table again, and said to them: Do you understand what I have done for you?
13 Awagandak iti maestro ken 'Apo,' ken ibagayo ti umno, gapu ta siak.
You call me Teacher and Lord; and you say well, for so I am.
14 Ket no siak, ti Apo ken ti Maestro, a nangbuggo kadagiti saksakayo, maikarikayo met a mangbuggo kadagiti saka ti maysa ken maysa.
If, then, I, your Lord and your Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
15 Ta inikkankayon iti pagtuladan tapno iti kasta masapul nga aramidenyo met kas iti inaramidko maipaay kadakayo.
For I have given you an example, that you also may do as I have done for you.
16 Pudno, pudno, ibagak kadakayo, ti adipen ket saan a nangatngato ngem iti Amona; wenno nangatngato ti maysa nga isu iti naibaon ngem ti nangibaon kenkuana.
Verily, verily I say to you, the servant is not greater than his master, nor is he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
17 No ammoyo dagitoy a banbanag, nagasatkayo no aramidenyo dagitoy.
If you know these things, blessed are you, if you do them.
18 Saanak nga agsasao maipanggep kadakayo amin, ta ammok no siasino dagiti pinilik-ngem ibagak daytoy tapno iti kasta ti Nasantuan a Surat ket matungpalto koma: 'isuna a mangan ti tinapayko ingatona iti mukodna a maibusor kaniak.'
I speak not of you all. I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.
19 Ibagak daytoy tatta kadakayo sakbay a mapasamak tapno iti kasta inton mapasamak daytoy, patienyo koma a Siak.
I tell you this now, before it comes to pass, that when it comes to pass, you may believe that I am he.
20 Pudno, pudno, ibagak kadakayo, isuna nga umawat kaniak awatenna ti siasinoman nga inbaonko, ken isuna nga umawaat kaniak awatenna ti maysa nga nangibaon kaniak.”
Verily, verily I say to you, he that receives him that I shall send, receives me; and he that receives me, receives him that sent me.
21 Idi naibaga ni Jesus daytoy, nariribukan ti espirituna, pinaneknekanna ken kinunana,”Pudno, pudno, ibagak daytoy kadakayo a maysa kadakayo ti mangliputto kaniak.”
When Jesus had spoken these things, he was troubled in spirit, and testified and said: Verily, verily I say to you, that one of you will deliver me up.
22 Nagkikinnita dagiti adalan iti maysa ken maysa, masmasdaawda no siasino ti sarsaritaenna.
Then the disciples looked at one another, doubting of whom he spoke.
23 Idiay lamisaan adda nakasangger iti barukong ni Jesus maysa kadagiti adalanna, ti maysa nga patpatgen ni Jesus.
There was reclining on the bosom of Jesus, one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.
24 Sineniasan ngarud ni Simon Pedro daytoy nga adalan ket kinunana, “Ibagam kadakami no siasino daytoy nga isu ket sarsaritaenna.”
Then Simon Peter beckoned to this one, that he should inquire who it was of whom he spoke.
25 Nagsanggir dayta nga adalan iti barukong ni Jesus ket kinunana kenkuana, “Apo, siasino daytoy?”
And he that was reclining on Jesus breast, said to him: Lord, who is it?
26 Ket simmungbat ni Jesus, “isuna daytoy isaw-sawsawakto iti pirsay ti tinapay ket itedko daytoy kenkuana.” Isu nga idi naisawsawna ti tinapay, intedna daytoy ken ni Judas, nga anak ni Simon Iscariote.
Jesus answered: It is he to whom I shall give this morsel after I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
27 Ket kalpasan ti tinapay, ket simrek ni Satanas kenkuana. Ket kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “No ania iti dandanim nga aramiden, partakam nga aramiden.”
And after the morsel was given, then Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him: What you do, do quickly.
28 Tatta awan idiay lamisaan iti nakaammo ti makagapu nga imbaga ni Jesus daytoy kenkuana.
But none of those who reclined at table with him knew for what purpose he said this to him.
29 Pagarupen ti dadduma nga, gapu ta adda ken Judas ti supot nga ayan ti kuarta, kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “gatangem dagiti banbanag a masapultayo para iti Fiesta,” wenno dayta masya a banag a masapul nga itedna kadigiti marigrigat.
For some thought, because Judas had the purse, that Jesus had said to him: Buy what we need for the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
30 Kalpasan a naawat ni Judas ti tinapay, rimuar a dagus isuna ket rabii idin.
Then, on receiving the morsel, he immediately went out; and it was night.
31 Idi nakapanawen ni Judas, kinuna ni Jesus “tatta ti Anak ti Tao ket naitag-ay ken ti Dios ket naitag-ay kenkuana.
When he had gone out, Jesus said: Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
32 Itag-ayto ti Dios isuna iti bagina, ken itag-aynanto a dagus isuna.
If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and will immediately glorify him.
33 Babassit nga ub-ubbing, addaak paylaeng kadakayo uray iti ababa a kanito. birukendakto, ken kas naibagak kadagiti Judio, no 'Sadino iti papanak, saankayo nga makaumay.' Tatta ibagak met daytoy kadakayo.
Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek me, and, as I said to the Jews, whither I go, you can not come, so now I say to you.
34 Itedko kadakayo ti barbaro a bilin, a masapul nga ayatenyo ti maysa ken maysa; kas iti panagayatko kadakayo, isu a masapul met nga ayatenyo ti maysa ken maysa.
A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 Ta babaen iti daytoy maammoanto dagiti amin a tattao a dakayo dagiti adalak, no adda ayatyo iti maysa a maipaay iti sabali.”
By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.
36 Kinuna ni Simon Pedro kenkuana, “Apo, sadino iti papanam?” simmungbat ni Jesus, “Idiay papanak, tatta saanyo a mabalin iti sumurot, ngem kalpasanna sumurotkayonto.”
Simon Peter said to him: Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him: Whither I go, you can not follow me now; but you shall follow me hereafter.
37 Kinuna ni Pedro kenkuana, “Apo, apay a saan a mabalin nga sumurotak kenka uray itatta? Ipaayko ti biagko kenka.”
Peter said to him: Lord, why can I not follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thee.
38 Simmungbat ni Jesus, “Mabalinkadi nga ipaaymo ti biagmo kaniak? Pudno, pudno, ibagak kenka, inyulbodnakton iti mamintalo a daras sakbay nga agtaraok ti kawitan.”
Jesus answered him: Will you lay down your life for me? Verily, verily I say to you, the cock will not crow till you have denied me three times.
