< Juan 10 >

1 Pudno, Pudno, Ibagak kadakayo. Ti saan a sumrek babaen ti ruangan ti pagapunan dagiti karnero, no di ket umuli iti sabali a dalan, dayta a tao ket agtatakaw ken tulisan.
In truth I tell you, whoever does not go into the sheepfold through the door, but climbs up at some other place, that person is a thief and a robber;
2 Ti sumrek ti ruangan ti pagapunan ket ti pastor dagiti karnero.
but the person who goes in through the door is shepherd to the sheep.
3 Lukatan ti agbanbantay ti ruangan para kenkuana. Dinggen dagiti karnero ti timekna ken aw-awaganna dagiti bukodna a karnero babaen iti naganda ken idadauloanna ida a rumuar.
For him the watchman opens the door; and the sheep listen to his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
4 No nairuarnan amin dagiti karnerona, umun-una isuna ngem dagitoy ken sumurot kenkuana dagiti karnero, gapu ta ammoda ti timekna.
When he has brought them all out, he walks in front of them, and his sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
5 Saanda a sumurot iti saanda nga amammo ngem ketdi liklikanda daytoy gapu ta saanda nga ammo ti timek iti saanda nga amammo.”
They will not follow a stranger, but will run away from him; because they do not know a stranger’s voice.”
6 Imbaga ni Jesus daytoy a pangngarig kadakuada, ngem saanda a naawatan no ania dagitoy a banbanag nga ibagbagana kadakuada.
This was the allegory that Jesus told them, but they did not understand of what he was speaking.
7 Kinuna ngarud manen ni Jesus kadakuada, “Pudno, Pudno, Ibagak kadakayo, siak ti ruangan dagiti karnero.
So he continued, “In truth I tell you, I am the door for the sheep.
8 Dagiti amin nga immuna nga immay ngem siak ket agtatakaw ngem saan a dimngeg dagiti karnero kadakuada.
All who came before me were thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not listen to them.
9 Siak ti ruangan. Maisalakan ti siasinoman nga sumrek babaen kaniak; umuneg isuna ken rumuar ket makabiruk iti pagaraban.
I am the door; he who goes in through me will be safe, and he will go in and out and find pasture.
10 Ti agtatakaw saan nga umay malaksid no agtakaw, mangpapatay ken mangdadael. Immayak tapno maaddaanda iti biag nga aglaplapusanan.
The thief comes only to steal, to kill, and to destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it in greater fullness.
11 Siak ti naimbag a pastor. Ited iti naimbag a pastor ti biagna para kadagiti karnero.
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep.
12 Ti natangdanan nga adipen, ken saan a pastor, saanna a kukua dagiti karnero, makitana ti um-umay a lobo ket ibatina dagiti karnero ken aglibas. Itaray ken warawaraen ti lobo dagiti karnero.
The hired man who is not a shepherd, and who does not own the sheep, when he sees a wolf coming, leaves them and runs away; then the wolf seizes them, and scatters the flock.
13 Tumaray isuna gapu ta natangdanan laeng isuna nga adipen ken saanna nga ipatpateg dagiti karnero.
He does this because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep.
14 Siak ti naimbag a pastor ken ammok ti kukuak ken ammodak met dagiti kukuak.
I am the good shepherd; and I know my sheep, and my sheep know me –
15 Ammonak ti Ama ken ammok met ti Ama ken itedko ti biagko para kadagiti karnero. Adda pay dagiti sabali a karnerok nga awan pay ditoy nga arban.
Just as the Father knows me and I know the Father – and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 Masapul met nga ipanko isuda ditoy, ken mangngegda ti timekko tapno addanto laeng iti maysa a bunggoy ken pastor.
I have other sheep besides, which do not belong to this fold; I must lead them also, and they will listen to my voice; and they will become one flock under one shepherd.
17 Daytoy ti makagapu no apay nga ayayatennak ti Amak: Itedko ti biag ko a mabalin a maalakto manen.
This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life – to receive it again.
18 Awan ti siasinoman a mangala iti daytoy kaniak, ngem itedko a bukodko. Adda ti turayko a mangited ken adda met laeng ti turayko a mangala manen iti daytoy. Naawatko daytoy a bilin manipud iti Amak.”
No one took it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to receive it again. This is the command which I received from my Father.”
19 Adda manen ti panagsisina kadagiti Judio gapu kadagitoy a sasao.
In consequence of these words a difference of opinion again arose among the people.
20 Adu kadakuada ti nangibaga, “Adda ti demonio kenkuana ken agmauyong isuna. Apay a dumdumngegkayo kenkuana?”
Many of them said, “He is possessed by a demon and is mad; why do you listen to him?”
21 Kinuna dagiti dadduma, “Saan a kastoy ti ibagbaga iti maysa a naluganan iti demonio. Kabaelan kadi iti demonio ti manglukat iti mata iti bulsek?”
Others said, “This is not the teaching of one who is possessed by a demon. Can a demon give sight to the blind?”
22 Dimteng ti Fiesta ti Pannakaidaton idiay Jerusalem.
Soon after this the Festival of the Rededication was held at Jerusalem.
23 Panawen idi iti lammiis, ken magmagna ni Jesus idiay Beranda ni Solomon idiay templo.
It was winter; and Jesus was walking in the Temple Courts, in the Colonnade of Solomon,
24 Inaribungbungan isuna dagiti Judio ket kinunada kenkuana, “Kasano kabayag a paggagarennakami? Ibagam kadakami a nalawag no sika ni Cristo.”
when the people gathered around him, and said, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so frankly.”
25 Simmungbat ni Jesus kadakuada, “Imbagak kadakayon, ngem saankayo a mamati. Dagiti trabaho nga ar-aramidek iti nagan iti Amak, dagitoy ti mangpaneknek maipapan kaniak.
“I have told you so,” replied Jesus, “and you do not believe me. The work that I am doing in my Father’s name bears testimony to me.
26 Ngem, saankayo a mamati, agsipud ta saan kayo a maysa kadagiti karnerok.
But you do not believe me, because you are not of my flock.
27 Dinggen dagiti karnerok ti timekko; am-ammok isuda, ken sumurotda kaniak.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me;
28 Itedko kadakuada ti biag nga agnanayon; saandanto pulos a mapukaw, ken awan ti siasinoman a makarabsut kadakuada manipud iti imak. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
and I give them eternal life, and they will not be lost; nor will anyone snatch them out of my hands. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 Ti Amak, nga isu ti nangited kadakuada kaniak, ket ti katan-okan iti isu amin ken awan ti siasinoman a makarabsut kadakuada manipud iti ima ti Ama.
What my Father has entrusted to me is more than all else; and no one can snatch anything out of the Father’s hands.
30 Siak ken ti Ama ket maymaysa.”
The Father and I are one.”
31 Nangala manen dagiti Judio iti batbato tapno batoenda isuna.
Some of the people again brought stones to throw at him;
32 Simmungbat ni Jesus kadakuada, “Impakitak kadakayo iti adu a nasasayaat nga aramid a naggapu iti Ama. Ta ania kadagitoy ti pangbatoanyo kaniak?”
and seeing this, Jesus said, “I have done before your eyes many good actions, inspired by the Father; for which of them would you stone me?”
33 Simmungbat dagiti Judio kenkuana, “Saandaka a batoen gapu kadagiti nasayaat a naaramidmo no diket iti panagtabbaaw, gapu ta sika, maysa a tao ket araramidem ti bagim a Dios.”
“It is not for any good action that we would stone you,” they answered, “but for blasphemy; and because you, who are only a man, make yourself out to be God.”
34 Simmungbat ni Jesus kadakuada, “Saan kadi a nakasurat iti lintegyo, 'Imbagak, “Dakayo ket dios”?”
“Are there not,” replied Jesus, “these words in your Law – ‘I said, You are gods’?
35 No inawaganna ida a dios, siasinno ti immayan ti sao ti Dios (saan a maburak ti Nasantoan a Surat),
If those to whom God’s word were addressed were said to be ‘gods’ – and scripture cannot be set aside –
36 ibagbagayo kadi kenkuana no siasinno ti insagut ken imbaon ti Ama ditoy lubong, “Agtabtabaaawka,' gapu ta imbagak a, 'Siak ti Anak ti Dios'?
do you say of one whom the Father has consecrated and sent as his messenger to the world ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said ‘I am God’s Son’?
37 No saanko nga ar-aramiden dagiti trabaho ti Amak, saandak a patien.
If I am not doing the work that my Father is doing, do not believe me;
38 Nupay kasta, no araramidek dagitoy, uray no saankayo a mamati kaniak, patienyo dagiti aramid tapno maammoan ken maawatanyo nga adda ti Ama kaniak ken addaak iti Ama.
if I am doing it, even though you do not believe me, believe what that work shows; so that you may understand, and understand more and more clearly, that the Father is in union with me, and I with the Father.”
39 Pinadasda manen a tiliwen ni Jesus, ngem nakalibas isuna manipud iti imada.
The authorities again sought to arrest him; but he escaped their hands.
40 Pimmanaw manen ni Jesus ket napan iti labes ti Jordan iti lugar a pagbaubautisaran ni Juan idi ununana ket nagnaed isuna idiay.
Then Jesus again crossed the Jordan to the place where John used to baptize at first, and stayed there some time, during which many people came to see him.
41 Adu a tattao iti napan kenni Jesus. Kanayonda nga ibagbaga, “Pudno nga awan naaramid ni Juan a pagilasinan, ngem pudno amin dagiti banbanag nga imbagana maipapan iti daytoy a lalaki.”
“John gave no sign of his mission,” they said. “But everything that he said about this man was true.”
42 Adu ti namati kenni Jesus sadiay.
And many learned to believe in Jesus there.
