< Joel 3 >

1 Pagammoan, iti dayta met laeng a tiempo, inton isublik idiay Juda ken Jerusalem dagiti naitalaw a tattao,
For, behold, in those days and at that time, when I shall have turned the captivity of Juda and Jerusalem,
2 ummongekto dagiti amin a nasion, ket paapanek ida iti tanap ni Jehosafat. Ukomekto ida sadiay gapu kadagiti tattaok ken iti tawidko nga Israel nga inwarawarasda kadagiti nasion, ken gapu ta biningay-bingayda ti dagak.
I will also gather all the Gentiles, and bring them down to the valley of Josaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and my heritage Israel, who have been dispersed among the Gentiles; and [these Gentiles] have divided my land,
3 Pinagbibinnunotanda dagiti tattaok, insukatda dagiti lallaki kadagiti balangkantis, ken naglakoda iti babai a kasukat ti arak tapno makainumda.
and cast lots over my people, and have given [their] boys to harlots, and sold [their] girls for wine, and have drunk.
4 Ita, apay a kaungetdak, Tiro, Sidon, ken amin a rehion ti Filistia? Balsendak kadi? Urayno balsendak, ipalak-amkonto a dagus kadakayo ti panangibalesyo.
And what have you to do with me, O Tyre, and Sidon, and all Galilee of the Gentiles? do you render me a recompense? or do you bear malice against me? quickly and speedily will I return your recompense on your own heads:
5 Ta innalayo ti pirak ken balitokko, ket impanyo dagiti napapateg a gamengko kadagiti temployo.
because you have taken my silver and my gold, and you have brought my choice ornaments into your temples;
6 Inlakoyo dagiti tattao ti Juda ken Jerusalem kadagiti Griego, tapno maipanawda kadagiti dagada.
and you have sold the children of Juda and the children of Jerusalem to the children of the Greeks, that you might expel them from their coasts.
7 Ngem kitaenyo, dandanik idan ipanaw kadagiti lugar a nangilakoanyo kadakuada, ket supapakankayonto iti maiparbeng kadakayo.
Therefore, behold, I [will] raise them up out of the place whither you have sold them, and I will return your recompense on your own heads.
8 Ilakokto dagiti annakyo a lallaki ken babbai kadagiti ima dagiti tattao ti Juda. Ilakodanto ida kadagiti taga-Saba, iti adayo a nasion. Ta ni Yahweh ti nagsao iti daytoy.
And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Juda, and they shall sell them into captivity to a far distant nation: for the Lord has spoken [it].
9 Iwaragawagyo daytoy kadagiti nasion: 'Agsaganakayo a makigubat, ummongenyo dagiti nabileg a lallaki, paasitgenyo ida, pagpuestoenyo dagiti amin a mannakigubat.
Proclaim these things among the Gentiles; declare war, arouse the warriors, draw near and go up, all you men of war.
10 Pitpitenyo dagiti aradoyo tapno agbalin a kampilan ken dagiti kumpayyo tapno agbalin a gayang. Kunaen koma dagiti nakapuy, “Napigsaak.”
Beat your plowshares into swords, and your sickles into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Darasenyo ti umay, dakayo amin a kabangibang a nasion, aguummongkayo.' O Yahweh, paapanem sadiay dagiti nabileg a mannakigubatmo.
Gather yourselves together, and go in, all you nations round about, and gather yourselves there; let the timid become a warrior.
12 Agriing koma dagiti nasion ket mapanda idiay tanap ni Jehosafat. Ta agtugawakto sadiay a mangukom kadagiti amin a kabangibang a nasion.
Let them be aroused, let all the nations go up to the valley of Josaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the Gentiles round about.
13 Alaenyo dagiti kumpay, ta naluomen ti apit. Umaykayo, pespesenyo dagiti ubas, ta napnon ti pagpespesan ti ubas, agluplupias dagiti pagkargaan, ta kasta unay ti kinadangkesda.”
Bring forth the sickles, for the vintage is come: go in, tread [the grapes], for the press is full: cause the vats to overflow; for their wickedness is multiplied.
14 Adda iti ariwawa, ariwawa idiay tanap ti Panangukom. Ta asidegen ti aldaw ni Yahweh iti tanap ti Panangukom.
Noises have resounded in the valley of judgment: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of judgment.
15 Sumipnget ti init ken bulan, saanen nga agraniag dagiti bituen.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their light.
16 Agpukkawto ni Yahweh manipud Sion, ken ipigsananto ti timekna idiay Jerusalem. Agkintayegto ti langit ken daga, ngem agbalinto ni Yahweh a kamang dagiti tattaona, ken sarikedked dagiti tattao ti Israel.
And the Lord shall cry out of Sion, and shall utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heaven and the earth shall be shaken, but the Lord shall spare his people, and shall strengthen the children of Israel.
17 “Ket maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh a Diosyo, nga agnanaed idiay Sion, ti nasantoan a bantayko. Kalpasanna, agbalinto a nasantoan ti Jerusalem, ken awanto ti armada a mangparmek manen kenkuana.
And you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who dwell in Sion my holy mountain: and Jerusalem shall be holy, and strangers shall not pass through her anymore.
18 Iti dayta nga aldaw, agtedtedto ti nasam-it nga arak kadagiti kabanbantayan, agayusto iti gatas kadagiti turturod, agayusto iti danum kadagiti amin a waig ti Juda, ken agtaudto ti burayok iti balay ni Yahweh ket padanumannanto ti tanap ti Acacia.
And it shall come to pass in that day [that] the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the fountains of Juda shall flow with water, and a fountain shall go forth of the house of the Lord, and water the valley of flags.
19 Agbalinto a langalang ti Egipto, ken agbalinto a disierto ti Edom, gapu iti kinaranggas nga inaramidda kadagiti tattao ti Juda, gapu ta pinapatayda dagiti inosente a tattao idiay daga dagiti tattao ti Juda.
Egypt shall be a desolation, and Idumea shall be a desolate plain, because of the wrongs of the children of Juda, because they have shed righteous blood in their land.
20 Ngem agbiagto ti Juda iti agnanayon, ken agbiagto ti Jerusalem iti tunggal henerasion.
But Judea shall be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem to all generations.
21 Ibaleskonto ti pannakatayda a saanko pay a naibales,” ta agnanaed ni Yahweh idiay Sion.
And I will make inquisition for their blood, and will by no means leave it unavenged: and the Lord shall dwell in Sion.
