< Job 39 >

1 Ammom kadi ti tiempo a panangipasngay dagiti atap a kalding kadagiti annakda kadagiti kabatbatoan? Makitam kadi ti panagipasngay dagiti ugsa kadagiti urbonda?
Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? dost thou mark the calving of the hinds?
2 Mabilangmo kadi ti bulan a panagsikogda? Ammom kadi ti tiempo ti panangispasngayda kadagiti urbonda?
Dost thou number the months that they fulfil? and knowest thou the time when they bring forth?
3 Agrukobda ket ipasngayda ti urbonda, ken kalpasanna, malpasen ti rigat ti panaganakda.
They bow themselves, they give birth to their young ones, they cast out their pains;
4 Pumigsa ken dumakkel dagiti urbonda kadagiti tay-ak; pumanawda ket saandan nga agsubli pay.
Their young ones become strong, they grow up in the open field, they go forth, and return not unto them.
5 Siasino ti nangibulos iti atap nga asno? Siasino ti nangwarwar kadagiti tali ti atap nga asno,
Who hath sent out the wild ass free? and who hath loosed the bands of the onager,
6 a ti pagtaenganna ket inaramidko idiay Arabah, ti balayna idiay naapgad a daga?
Whose house I made the wilderness, and the salt plain his dwellings?
7 Katkatawaanna a lalaisen dagiti arimbangaw iti siudad; saanna a mangmangngeg ti pukkaw dagiti mangiturturong.
He laugheth at the tumult of the city, and heareth not the shouts of the driver;
8 Agsursursor isuna kadagiti banbantay a kas pagarabanna; agbirbirok isuna sadiay kadagiti nalangto a ruot nga arabenda.
The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searcheth after every green thing.
9 Maragsakanto kadi ti atap a baka nga agserbi kenka? Umannugotto kadi daytoy nga agtalinaed iti kulluongmo?
Will the buffalo be willing to serve thee, or will he lodge by thy crib?
10 Babaen iti maysa a tali, maiturongmo kadi ti atap a baka a mangarado kadagiti aradoen? Aradoenna kadi dagiti tanap para kenka?
Canst thou bind the buffalo with his cord in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?
11 Pagtalkam kadi isuna gapu ta kasta unay ti pigsana? Ibatim kadi ti trabahom kenkuana nga aramidenna?
Wilt thou put confidence in him, because his strength is great? and wilt thou leave thy labour to him?
12 Agtalekka kadi kenkuana a mangipan iti trigom iti pangtaengam, a mangummong kadagiti trigo iti paggirikam?
Wilt thou trust him to bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy threshing-floor?
13 Sitatangsit nga agpayakpak dagiti payyak dagiti abestrus, ngem isuda kadi dagiti dadakkel a dutdot ken babassit a dutdot ti ayat?
The wing of the ostrich beats joyously — But is it the stork's pinion and plumage?
14 Ta ibatbatina dagiti itlogna iti daga, ken baybay-anna ida a mapudpudotan iti tapok;
For she leaveth her eggs to the earth, and warmeth them in the dust,
15 malipatanna nga amangan no mapayatan dagitoy ket marumekda wenno amangan no mabaddekkan dagitoy dagiti narungsot nga ayup.
And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the beast of the field may trample them.
16 Naranggas isuna kadagiti piyyekna a kasla saanna ida a piyyek; saan a mabuteng isuna nga amangan no maawanan ti serbi ti nagbannoganna,
She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers; her labour is in vain, without her concern.
17 gapu ta inikkat ti Dios kenkuana ti sirib ken saanna nga inikkan isuna iti pannakaawat.
For God hath deprived her of wisdom, and hath not furnished her with understanding.
18 No tumaray isuna a sipapartak, katkatawaanna a lalaisen ti kabalyo ken ti nakasakay iti daytoy.
What time she lasheth herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.
19 Intedmo kadi iti kabalio ti pigsana? Binaduam kadi ti tengngedna iti buok nga agallo-allon?
Hast thou given strength to the horse? hast thou clothed his neck with the quivering mane?
20 Napalagtom kadi isunan a kasla dudon? Nakabutbuteng ti kinapigsa ti panagbang-esna.
Dost thou make him to leap as a locust? His majestic snorting is terrible.
21 Sipipigsa a mangkurob ken agragrag-o isuna iti pigsanna; agdardaras isuna a mangsabat kadagiti igam.
He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in [his] strength; he goeth forth to meet the armed host.
22 Um-umsienna ti buteng ken saan isuna a maupay; saanna a taltallikudan ti kampilan.
He laugheth at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from before the sword.
23 Kumalangiking ti kaluban a maitupatupa iti sikiganna, agraman dagiti sumilapsilap a gayang ken pika.
The quiver rattleth upon him, the glittering spear and the javelin.
24 Tiltilmonenna ti daga babaen iti kinarungsot ken pungtot; saan isuna a makatalna iti panaguni ti trumpeta.
He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage, and cannot contain himself at the sound of the trumpet:
25 Tunggal aguni dagiti trumpeta, kunkunaenna, 'Aha!' Maang-angotna ti gubat iti adayo—-dagiti umarimbangaw a pukkaw dagiti opisial ken dagiti ikkis.
At the noise of the trumpets he saith, Aha! and he smelleth the battle afar off, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
26 Babaen kadi iti siribmo nga agampayag ti kali, nga iyunnatna dagiti payyakna para iti abagatan?
Doth the hawk fly by thine intelligence, [and] stretch his wings toward the south?
27 Gapu kadi kadagiti bilinmo isu a tumayab ken agumok ti agila kadagiti nangato a lugar?
Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make his nest on high?
28 Agnanaed isuna kadagiti rangkis ken ar-aramidenna ti pagtaengana kadagiti tuktok dagiti rangkis, a maysa a sarikedked?
He inhabiteth the rock and maketh his dwelling on the point of the cliff, and the fastness:
29 Manipud sadiay agbirbirok isuna iti sippayutenna; makitana dagitoy manipud iti adayo.
From thence he spieth out the prey, his eyes look into the distance;
30 Uminum met dagiti piyyekna iti dara; no sadino ti ayan dagiti napapatay a tattao, adda isuna sadiay.”
And his young ones suck up blood; and where the slain are, there is he.
